You need a battery in the flash not in the camera.

Film can take a lot of over exposure, and looks like shit under exposed, so always better to go with the most light (F8 mode) vs not having enough. Usually with a cheap flash like the one he showed you'd meter the light but with this camera I'd just put it on F8 and put the flash on full or half power and hope for the best.

They're selling for 100-200+ now. Pretty crazy since the effect is kinda played out at this point.

Hans Rosemond the prices are super high for N8000 on eBay. I’ve heard people say they only paid around 50 bucks for one.

Chad Johnson yeah, I think they’ve gotten popular in the last year so the price has gone up.

Hans Rosemond yeah it seems so I have a canon G-III but I have zero use for it. Due to the fact that it is a range finder I don’t really have a clue on how to operate it. So that’s why I’m searching for the N8000

The Nimslo 3-D camera takes better pictures, and is a sturdier camera. I bought mine for $15 at 42nd Street Photo.

I paid about $50 for a nimslo model, exactly the same except glass lenses, but for this kind of hobby today it's not about picture quality, it's more about lack of picture quality, artistic tool. Much like using a pencil to draw a landscape with or just take a photo with. I use a old pentax me super with a 50mm f1.4 lens attached, I took chunks out of the lens with a screwdriver and hammer, ended up with a couple of nice cracks In the glass, allows me to get some very created shots. Much better than messing about with digital files in photoshop, because it's real, like comparing a racing simulator with actually racing around a track

@@adrinathegreat3095 Do you think this effect is kinda played out now? I remember around 2018 every urban and streetwear brand had these GIFs on their website haha. But now seems like a kinda 2016-2018 trend, though it can still be a cool effect.
