Honestly, imagine a Hell’s Kitchen season with these chefs. Gordon would lose his mind while the kitchen burns down and has infinite voice cracks.

Raj is the kind of person who would crawl on the floor at any store in search of low prices.

Colleen or Miss Manner literally made RU-vid videos trying to flex herself as if she defeated Gordon Ramsey, and she procceded to cut the video where Gordon struck back.

The way Gordon just instantly zeros in on Kevin in S15 and all but deletes him from existence (he gets no post-booting speech and you only see him packing his bags for a couple seconds in the televised run) has to be the most swift and brutal elimination of the show

Here's an interesting idea: A list of HK contestants who are terrible chefs but still had likable personalities, and vice versa.

something sad i've always thought of with Gia's elimination, you can see and hear Ramsay's concern when she said she cut her finger off, he immediately asks if she's okay, calls for a medic, and goes to check her for himself, only to discover she didn't even have a papercut. "your TEAM have lost faith in you" was personal 💀

For being a reality TV show that really hasn't changed its format much over the years, it's amazing how rewatchable Hell's Kitchen content is.

Salvatore was a bad chef yes but he was also a very wholesome gentleman. I hope he didn't give up on his dreams

1:35 "He was trying to get me to be better, than I am" While being the first worst chef of the epic series, he was able to understand Gordon's intention behind his aggressiveness, which can't be said about most of the "donkeys" of the series. This is a great video, btw!

Out of all the chefs, I kinda feel bad for Salvatore. You can tell he was struggling because of how nervous he was. He has potential imo, and I understand how he feels, especially as someone who used to study culinary arts.

Colleen may have been the worst chef on her season but don't forget that Gordon did have a level of respect for her. When she was eliminated he said that one thing she had was fight in her which I think was a reason why she made it as far as she did. Gordon respected her drive and her fight that she had.

I felt bad for Dewberry. When I watched this show for the first time, I knew he wasn't going to last long, and that's not going into his cooking. Just a light-hearted person who seemed to get overwhelmed very easily at the heat of a confrontation. Just wasn't meant to be on the show

NGL, I quite enjoyed Matt from season 4 just because I found it amusing how bad he was. Also my favorite terrible chef was Salvatore from season 7, just because of his personality and how humble he was. Never blamed his teammates and took his loss gracefully

I only disagree with Dewberry being the worst chef in season one because I feel Jeff should have that honor. Guy did nothing but complain and drag his whole team down during service (they even pointed out that they did better after he rage quit). Dewberry also redeemed himself a little during the finale (obviously because of Ralph coaching him up).

"Executive Chef" Tavon reminds me of the time I was manager, simply because I was the only member of my department. Also, Salvatore may be the only "bad" chef that is beloved by the audience. He clearly had talent, but confidence issues, and you could see that Gordon saw something in him, treating him like a son.

Ok honestly when dewberry said “he was trying to get me to be better than I am evidently” that was pretty heart wrenching

Let’s not forget one of the funniest things to ever come out of season 9, that being the fake dinner service where Chino still managed to mess it up and ruin the fake service 😂

From season 1-12 Gordon was at his prime for being a raging beast. Every time he yelled at someone, it was completely intense and savage.

Dewberry may have been the least competent chef, but he managed to get both Ramsay and his Sous laugh with one line. "You are a rock, you are Gibraltar." Dewberry: "I'd rather you say I'm Brad Pitts wife."

I agree that Salvatore was a terrible chef, debatably the worst of Season 7...I give him a bit of leeway to Scott, because at least Sal knew his shortcomings, owned up to them, and didn't take other people's sections that weren't his. All things Scott can't attest to himself, while making maybe fewer mistakes, but bigger mistakes. He screwed up the meat station three services in a row. (F12 Part 1, F12 Part 2, and F11)

Ideas for future videos: - Worst Team Services (it’s one thing an individual screws up dinner service, but then you have the whole brigade screwup big time) - Best signature dishes (any HK fan knows the worse ones, but I think it’s time we give a shout-out to the best first impressions) - HK Rivalries & Friendships (pretty self explanatory) - HK challenge fails (much like services, there are some really interesting fails on the team challenges, and there’s nothing wrong to showcase them) - HK fan favorites (it’ll be fun to know your favorites for each season, at least a top 10)

Regarding season 7, I'd put Scott over Salvatore as the worst. Dude thought he was way better than he was, and I don't think he had a single good moment all season. And he was even given a fresh start when Ramsay sent him to the red team. But he only lasted two services there before he was sent home. And when it became obvious that he was about to be eliminated, he said that the red team would die without him. Plus who can forget that campaign ad music that played over him whenever he spoke.

Josh's attempt to return to the kitchen only to be rejected by every one of his teammates then immediately pantry-eliminated by Gordon is the coldest moment ever on the show

The season 4 scene after hisconversation with Jason gets me every time. "Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk" all while Jason looks like he wants to cry. He broke Gordon so hard that Gordon couldn't even find the anger to yell.

Tell you the truth, I felt bad for Kevin. He really wanted to do better and promised that he would and he tried really hard, but it wasn’t enough. He just wasn’t cut out for Hell’s Kitchen.

Not sure if there’s enough for a full video, but I’d love to see a comp of every time a chef got to keep their jacket/ chefs that won a special place in Ramsay’s heart. I love those wholesome scenes

The fact the red team in 12 did not nominate Nicole is baffling. She was abysmal.

What I love about Gordon Ramsey is that he knows his American audience so of course he dials it up to a 10. But he also genuinely wants people to succeed. I always think back to the Master Chef kids where he went down to help a girl who was crying and overwhelmed. I feel like, if you're willing to put in the work, he'd have your back all the way.

it never hit me how stupid it was when Jason said he was gonna put sugar on something to make it less sticky I just thought he was bullshitting but he’s actually just really stupid like how do you as a chef not know that melted sugar is sticky

It’s funny how, with Josh on All-Stars, his comment after he got the mid-service chop was something like “if Chef Ramsay would give anyone a third chance, it’d be me!” *Jinkx Monsoon voice* “DELUSION… Convince Yourself…” Seriously, he really turned into the MYLK of Hell’s Kitchen with THAT one!

Hell's Kitchen is always weird for me. Like, on the one hand, it makes me want to jump back into being a cook because I'm like, "I can do better than these guys" and I miss the healthy chaos and teamwork you feel while cooking. Then I remember the stress and nasty chaos and Dewberry just laying on that hammock with a cigarette and not missing that feeling at all.

I like how you don’t include like 75% of first boots just because they were first boots and it would be easy to say they were the worst. It makes for a much more interesting result

15:50 Real instance of Ramsay being considerate as well as badass. What Michael does here (putting a scalding hot pan back on the rack as if it's ready for use again) is the EXACT same thing that caused Heather from Season 2 to get third-degree burns on her hand and have to go to the hospital. I bet he was remembering that same incident and how it nearly took the best chef from that season out of commission when he chewed Michael out for it.

Gordon banging his head still makes me laugh. Louie was horrible and his elimination is still Hilarious, when he made Gordon's voice crack. Nicole thought she was saved for elimination, until Gordon called her up. Kevin's elimination was Brutal.

Jeremy bringing the sample left me laughing for almost 5 minutes.

Funny how in S16, the blue team was bad in both personality and service wise but who would've thought the worst chef would be from the red team. Even Johnny's like :O

You know, I wonder if Matthew served as partial inspiration for Nicholas Hoult’s character in The Menu: someone who claimed to know a lot about food, yet struggled massively when it came to actually making it. It wouldn’t shock me if Ramsay outright called one of his dishes “Matthew’s Bullsh-t” either.

At least dewberry and vinnie had a good finale service. I'd say Scott and Fran were worse than Sal

It would be interesting to see a video about outcast chefs that the whole team disliked and whether they deserved it (Raj) or not (Barbie).

While I agree that the sample plate from Jeremy was the dumbest mistake ever, the worst and most dangerous mistake was S14 Michael putting a hot pan with the cold pans on a different station

Dewberry had one of my absolute favorite moments from HK, when he was told he was amazing, and he answered "I would rather you call me Brad Pitt's wife" and Gordon laughed his ass off

Salvatore wasn't the worst in Season 7. He was not very good, but after he struggled to name the desserts, he came back and had a flawless performance on meat. Mikey was far worse, literally taking almost an hour to make one risotto, and when it got served, it turned out it was raw.

The worst chefs can speak for themselves. They know who they are.

It's easy for people to judge them on how they cook on a reality show but when you have a guy yelling at you all night and day you'll screw up, especially with how much editing and all that is done to make certain people look a certain way

I love when cooking instructors especially those high-end ones are on the show as you can really hear Gordon’s distain for their profession

For season 6, I agree that Louie was terrible, but I do think he was only the second worst chef that season. As for the worst one, he can speak for himself but he knows who he is.

What cracks me up is how with 14 Michael, as opposed to how often sous chefs are aggresive snd shouty whenever a contestant fucks up (especially Scott) James just casually patronizes him for doing the most inexplicable thing I've ever seen. It fits bc that's BEYOND something you can fix by yelling; that's fucking alien

I do kinda feel bad for Josh in all stars, yeah he had bad performances, but you can tell he was a nice guy, and just wanted to prove himself.

If he ever needs a new series, Masterchef would be a great addition.

What baffles me, is they often do a service challenge on Master Chef Junior and those kids did a much better job than a majority of these “professional” chef adults.

I'm impressed that you only chose 3 first boots for this. Though I may have included Steven from season 9. That being said, it might have been a fun challenge if you made a rule not to choose the first boot of the season. You wouldn't have missed much as Melinda in season 6 and Jen in season 18 are great substitutes. From season 10 Chris and Don were bad but I think that Royce was the biggest clown outside of Tavon.

Well done for thinking outside the box, it would be easy to put the first boot as the worst on pretty much all these seasons and on some you’ve picked i think the first boot should’ve been there but this is more interesting

I might be alone here but I kind of like Colleen. Yeah she was terrible but every time she would deliver something to the pass, I couldn't help but hope she'd get it right because she just kept trying and didn't rage or break down. Also, she had such a positive attitude when she got eliminated and actually seemed to enjoy her experience.

Saw the title instantly knew Raj was gonna be on the list for the season 8 contestant as the worst contestant

Michael going up for lunch is somehow the funniest thing but it somehow makes me feel bad for him

If we had Season 22 before this was shown, I think Tad would easily make this list. Even more so as much like Louie of Season 6, Tavon of Season 10, Scott of Season 18, and Matthew of Season 20, he was everything you'd expect from a Hell's Kitchen First Boot.

I would probably start crying if I ever went on this show. I’m horrible under pressure and have pretty bad anxiety because of it. I’m not a chef, but I like to take time to make the food that I do cook. I love and respect Gordon Ramsey a lot, but I’m honestly scared of him. Good on you for keeping people in line, but I don’t think you’ll ever see me on your kitchen respectfully.

I would love to see a video on each worst contestant from each Hell's Kitchen season, it doesn't have to be if they are a good or bad chef, I mean personality wise since we know Elise would make the video twice mainly due to how she blames everyone else whilst making herself out to be the only great contestant, don't get me started on how she told the two finalists of Season 9 to eliminate Jennifer instead of Elise. But yeah a video with every worst contestant will definitely be fun to see

James may not have had the same fiery outbursts as Scott but he had a certain sas to him ,him going to Micheal like a disappointed dad is hilarious

The first person seemed so nice and I feel so bad for them. I would give them a hug if I could. Easily one of the chefs you could feel most sympathetic to.

Just started and already know Raj is featured 😂 Also, I get what you mean about Salvatore not doing well but I would put Scott on there instead. The definition of “all talk and no walk”. The way he treated others and always spoke like he was interviewing for a job was ridiculous.

I love the satisfying elimination on matthew which I already watched it in netflix and I agreed to him as the worst chef in season 20, serving shrimp uncleaned, serving raw chicken in alcohol challenge, using meat thermometer on chicken and serving raw lamb is unacceptable. I watched that season from 17-21 in netflix with all raw and uncensored over the Fox version which is censored

MICHAEL of Season 14 was like RAJ of Season 8, he was useless from start to finish & he made a potentially serious Health & Safety Violation

I would argue a few choices here, Fran was put up nearly every time in season 7 and was terribly inconsistent. Aaron was also very inconsistent to the point he wanted to sabotage his team to get the “dead weight” gone, tried to disrespect Sterling and his cooking for no reason and just threw in the towel saying he “needed more education” so why was he on Hell’s Kitchen in the first place then? Monique from season 14 was nothing but complete dead weight for the red team and got on everyone’s last nerve to the point the red team sent up Sarah because they thought she’d go home if they did that, at least Micheal was just a bit better, despite his dangerous mistake. And even though Colleen definitely was the worst chef of season 5, Lacey could also be considered for that season along with Seth since she cracked over everything and had a terrible attitude

How could you put Raj as the worst chef?? Raj was an excellent poissonier who had cooked THOUSANDS of pieces of salmon. He’s the true winner.
