This is what happens when you spend money in the Unity store for top tier assets, and have a couple cute friends who can almost voice act, but you don't know how to make a game.

I keep getting distracted by the house, it looks so pretty. Too bad the rest of the game is... eh.

It's possible it's an asset flip and the assets mostly look good. But since you also need to make the assets work within a game world, that part can't be copypasted. Or they used all their experience making the objects and subjects look ok, but almost nothing in any other area. I mean it's an odd thing to make, you have all these crappy features when the person that will somehow enjoy porn, gets none of it. At best this appealed to those that like terribly functioning games, like what Kevin sometimes is into. Similar to RU-vid fodder, it has very little appeal. Apparently according to one Steam review I just saw, porn is now in it, so now I guess it appeals to those that both like porn and some amount of boredom to get it.

If I wanted to play a dating sim with similar graphics, I'd just play the Yakuza series

I wouldn't be surprised if the entire dev team coded the entirety of the game with one hand. That would explain the horribly buggy and suggestive gameplay.
