If this was last tues the 23rd....we were in the waterpark at castaway bay and anything that went outside was closed down due to lightning. It felt like it took forever for them to open back up. We love it there, but i will say this visit there was hardly any staff anywhere other than the waterpark. It was annoying when we wanted something and no employees.
@@christiel18 yeah, I found that recently. When I wanted a snack or ice cream no one would answer at the booth even when I yelled for help. That was sad.
its a cedar fair now six flags thing. Kings island IMO is also way too quick to close things for weather. the water rides are always the last thing to open up after weather. It is my opinion that when weather may come they send all the employees on their break and then things open up when the employees get back from break.
That just makes it worse though. If they really care that little about the user experience, so they're like "we don't want to open things up faster... let's just save money' that feels insulting to me on multiple levels.
this Tuesday (today) was busy also definitely didn't feel like a Tuesday. and had to deal with line jumpers in the Maverick 5 of them, and they all ganged up on me talking about mind your own business. i didn't get to say anything to the ride ops which I should of but they were all trying to fight me and i don't like violence and iam not getting kicked out over them. im a frequent visitor.
@@notyournormalg1 yeah it was insane and i even said nicely please don't be cutting you have to wait like everyone else than they get smart with me. and the other group literally jumped the switchback to the fast lane line walked up and jumped the switchback again to the reg line near the top of the stairs and still didn't get caught. than came back to the line with their group it was insane everyone thought i was the bad guy. i regret not saying anything to the ops i figured they would get caught anyway and im not a snitch and nobody cared.
