@@windmaster9 because the original comics Spider-Man hasn't been a teenager since the 60s. Peter Parker is like 2 to 3 years younger than Feliscia Hardy alone.
I dunno, the recent "You're like a sister to me M.J." was like the next One More Day that broke the camel's back after it was still recovering from rehabilitation therapy. I'd fire the whole lot of them and burn the entire writers room work for good measure, can't have any future idiots getting "brilliant" ideas...
The whole point of Spider-man's life is that it's hard. It makes the MOST amount of sense for peter to be rejected by Black Cat as she's a GROWN woman and he's just a 15 year old kid. Peter's life is always a struggle, no matter what.
@@VerdeMorte Yeah that "you're like a sister to me" is ridiculous to say to MJ but THIS situation is the MOST sensible and makes the most logical sense given the situation of the age difference between the two. @@Gadget-Walkmen Yeah, but he's not supposed to make his own life hard singlehandedly, that's what the villains and family members are there for. This is One More Day all over again and that was garbage...
@@VerdeMorte LOL What? Black Cat rejecting and throwing up all over him is NOT like "One More Day" AT ALL and it's FAR from "gARbAgE" in the slightest as it's just a moment that's played off for laughs in a dark humor kind of way to show off the problematic age difference. That's it. The issue is that Peter Parker here is young and a minor, Black Cat is not. That's the whole joke that's not taking all that seriously and to showcase that not everything works out on how Peter hopes it does in a dark humor that's not that serious when they WEREN'T in a serious relationship. That's the difference between this moment and the One More Day. And Peter Parker being Spider-man IS the part that's a sacrifice that makes his life hard. He's not doing it on purpose but he is doing something that he KNOWS will make it hard during the process.
It doesn't matter at all regardless as it's still a bit humorous to see as it fits BOTH characters very well when they ACTUALLY get to know each other this much and it ALL works perfectly for the characters and situation for the story to flow because Ultimate Spider-man is still the BEST Spider-man comic run with Mark Bagley's GORGEOUS artwork! It's a PHENOMENAL Comic series as it's the BEST Spider-man run for his storyline STILL to this day! Ultimate Spider-man is a MASTERPIECE!

Props to Black Cat for being the bigger person and not getting involved in sexual activity with a minor. It hurts that a master criminal has better sense of this than some people irl.
The reason she threw up is because she got raped by an older man when she was younger so the fact that she's doing the same thing now absolutely disgusted herself
This whole thing is cracking me up, she could maturely handle herself better and stayed to have a conversation with him and let him know how all of this was wrong and that she was in the wrong but girl decided to literally puke on all over his junk and dip, leaving him traumatized with low self-esteem for the rest of his life 💀💀💀
Another thing I want to add that I just realize, this whole time she had been flirting with him and wanting him, she should have also been annoyingly nosy and flirtatious. Asking him stuff like if he already has another girl, if he’s married, divorced, if they didn’t have to hide their disguises, where would she be likely to find him at work, just asking basic adult information, so this is really on her 💀
@@Deadline_83930 I mean. Knowing what kind of person Black Cat is. She was probably playing the "run around" game. Thinking that he was a man. So yes, it is on her. She didn't get her facts first. But I could see what she was doing. As well as how she may have easily gotten caught up in the game. Again, doesn't excuse it. But at least she didn't continue.
@Cameron Matlock He was murdered on his birthday by the Sinister Six (five of them anyway) after getting shot in the gut (by accident) from Punisher's rifle, and all while SHIELD and the Avengers were facing a coup d'etat
I don't think this is sad for Peter at all. It just shows that Felicia has standards. She's not about to put herself on the sex offender registry by sleeping with an underage teenager.
@@chrysaliscrisis8530 she puked bcz of the things she thought she was gonna do with him, now hee thoughts are gross to her bcz she was about to do all that with a kid
@@tajkoreddeninthearctic194 I'm pretty sure it's more on the writer than it is the artist because they're just representing what the story is visually
@Michael Anderson ikr like she could have just said “no sorry” but instead she said “how did you get in my house” and “I’m gonna call the police get out”
Black Cat W. She's an adult woman who realized she's been sexually inappropriate with a minor and she immediately removed herself from the situation. Edit: oh wow this blew up! I do feel bad for Peter but I feel like a lot of you are misinterpreting Black Cat? SHE had been the one to initiate the flirting and coming on to Spiderman, meaning she probably had feelings and even "fantasies" about him. In her mind, finding out he's a teenager means she's a pedophile and she is literally in shock and disgust with HERSELF, not Peter. I feel bad for them both but it's better things happened this way instead of them doing something they'll both regret and end up on a registry for
Nah, she didn't have to do him like that though. Puking on him and then dipping? Yeah no, not a W. A explanation, letting him know that he was too young for her, you know, not utterly destroying his self-esteem because of her dumb mistake?
@@ProxiProtogen Yeah, and then she left without a word. Y'know a 'Sorry, it isn't you, just, you are way too young for me.' You know... something that doesn't completely tear down his self-esteem like having a woman take on look at your face, throw up on you and run as fast in the opposite direction as she can.
What she did was both right and wrong, right because her feelings immediately disappeared as soon as she found out he was a minor, wrong because she didn't explain it to him well
Why do you think the writers made Felicia like this? I mean, What is the end goal / message of presenting a grown woman chasing after a teenager superhero? Within fiction here. My guess is that Ultimate Felicia represents real life women who want to fuck these cool superhero guys. But then they have to come to terms with the fact. That some of these handsome attractive superhero males are canonically minors. (Not all characters. Just some.)
@@aidanmoriarty2987 my guy your original comment implying she threw up on him as if she was disgusted and rejected him in a cold hearted way. no she didnt, she threw up because she saw that he was a minor and the thought of nearly committing pedophilia kicked in. Could she have aimed her vomit elsewhere and apologize? Yes. But bottom line is you make it see like she gave a cold hearted rejection when all it is, is just a misunderstanding. Also I doubt his confidence was still destroyed when she’d come back to him in the future beyond that sudden moment.
Felicia pretty much got karma for that...shows her that being aloof isn't always a good thing and it nearly screwed herself for hitting on a minor aged superhero. Poor Peter
Don't worry, Mark AKA Invincible, helped probably soften this moment up in retrospect. While small, he did seem to have helped Peter realize he wasn't nearly as bad as he'd thought he seemed.
@@ahankumar555 I specifically meant in this situation if 15 year old Peter from main continuity met this Black Cat. The point being that he’s written and drawn to be indistinguishable from someone in their 20s (Ditko’s influence mainly)
Ngl this kinda reminds me of the situations when a kid introduces himself as a adult on the internet and he gets messages or friend requests from real adults. Or the kid actually speaks to them but the adults that he is speaking with slowly realise that it's a kid because of either the way he types or the way on how he talks during some adult conversations.
True she is a grown woman and peter is still in high school. Idk how she couldnt tell tho, by his voice and mannerisms... Still imagine getting rejected this hard😭😭
@@erops7933 Yeah in most universes not just 616, Peter and Cat is both equal in age, usually college age or older. This one being the Ultimate universe, 181 comes to mind but it's just a guess on my end as I don't recall what nr that reality has, is essentially the exception. The furthest this couple tend to be in age to each other in a general sense is about 2 years. 💁♂️
