You need to report the data breach by the company to the Information Commissioners Office ( ICO). They have a duty to properly handle and protect a consumers data. The ICO absolutely need to be aware of this.
You are reporting an important issue. If it's illegal or dangerous, it’s in the public interest to be warned about these incompetent companies. Data protection out of the window! :)
All diesel heaters fitted by AVC need to be checked as a matter of priority, clearly there's some serious skills missing from the process. Unbelievable.

I saw the original "complaint" video where you explained the fault & that Liam had helped you out. I made a congratulatory comment on Liams channel & I'll do it again.....credit where it's due. Hope you can enjoy your van in the way you wanted.
My opinion is (and I'm sure you've had many) is that you DO NOT slag off, on a very public platform, a company that you are "in dispute" with. You deal with that dispute PRIVATELY and once there has been a resolution, whether satisfactory or not, you can THEN tell everyone what happened and how it has been resolved. You only prejudice your own actions by disclosing things publicly before they have been resolved. Your actions are neither fair to yourself nor the Company involved. Just to confirm: I am on nobody's side in this, I just think the above is the right way to behave . . . 😏
With a company that tells you to come and pick the van up if your not happy with it, half way through the build. Tells me to but a leash on my wife..of course I want to deal with them 👍

Wow, I’m not a van converter but I built my own van and I must say that workmanship is terrible, the best thing you can do is stay well away from that shoddy converter and try sorting it yourself bit by bit, you were taken advantage of and that wasn’t nice, good luck.
@@WattsOccurringwhen you have a business and have public data on your system it’s a certificate to cover you, please research it we have to have it and pay a yearly fee to have the license so if he’s not got that he’s in trouble!

Both panties should sort things out in private. Postings on social media slagging each other off is very dangerous in legal terms. Have you spoken with Trading Standards? If not, you need to do so. I can fully understand your not wanting to return the van to AVC for what the owner described as "snagging," but, because this has been offered and refused, you may not have a strong case for restitution. Solicitors cost a lot of money and I doubt that either party wants/is able to spend it on a legal battle. The Small Claims Court might be a way forward for you where you only have to pay court fees.
In my opinion. I doubt this case will win in a small claims. It will be difficult to claim for dodgy workmanship when never charged any fees for the actual conversion other than for the parts used and also the fact that the company offered to repair any faults. The customer decided to take it elsewhere, this results in acceptance of any defect.

It is true, a mutual agreement was made. The company wanted to showcase our van for supplying free labour. £8250 later, We'd expect a high quality finish on such a small van. Looks gorgeous but dig down! Further videos will show why we are upset.
Buy cheap buy twice...I paid £900 3 half years for night heater same as my truck heater, was lad from chesterfield it's his job and U have to b a certified fitter just like gas man ,so if them clowns r not qualified they need to pack the bags and run away simple as that .
you are a individual and your not bound to GDPR like a company would be doxing is a breach of GDPR if done by a company, if done by a individual if deemed to be done in malice then it comes uner the computer misuse
