Here I take you along on a mining expedition to find a pipe layed in 1986! This homeowner was happy we were able to take care of this for him! Thanks for watching comment if you have anything to add!
Great job, a lot of hard work for one man 💪🏼👌, the tunnel underneath the concrete slab looked awesome, love the waterfall at the end ☺️. Hi from the Netherlands, hope you get more views 👍
7:50 I've been here. Take the tee and fit it with about a 4-inch stub of the drain pipe on both sides, assemble and glue it up. Then set the assembly on top of the existing in-the-ground pipe to find where it needs to go on the existing pipe. Mark and cut that existing pipe. Now you slip assembly in place, along with those NSF/Fernco rubber fittings, one on each side, and you're GTG.
The deck may crack and have problems in the future as the ground under it settles. Not sure if there is a "right way" of doing this... but you cant really hand compact dirt effectively. In the fiberglass pool industry, they have started using crushed stone for backfilling because it doesn't settle and compact after its placed over time like normal dirt does. Just a thought. Nice work btw.
For sure. The right way would be to pump is full of concrete I suppose. Or of course aggregate. Just trying to help this customer out. He was out of options. Thanks for the comment and advise for the future!
