Alot of friends used to tell me they're afraid of weight training because of the fear of looking too big and I just go "IF ONLY GETTING BIG WAS THAT EASY"
@@alternate9160 and he got flamed for it since all Chloe ting's (that's her right?) fangirls were mad that he criticized her People were defending the "exercise" cuz it's useful for recovery or pilates but it's literally marketed as a way to build muscle by her
Nah they're doing just fine.. This information age has made it so that good, reliable information like this video provides is seen as "boring" and doesn't get very popular while influencers that produce showy and clickbaity content get all the attention
Thank you for this video, love it. I personally prefer watching someone execute a standard exercise with perfect, clean form than any fancy shit... Thats a straight scroll past for me.
4:35 This is great. To add on to it, "toning" isn't real since you can't spot reduce body fat. You can control where you build muscle underneath your fat, but the actual distribution of that fat is genetic. You also don't kill fat cells when you lose fat, the existing fat cells just shrink, and vice versa when you gain fat.
I see people doing the plate exercises all the time where I go, they tend to also be the ones who bring in their bluetooth speaker and think everyone wants to hear their trash music.
Another super high qualitt video, when you talked about explosive push ups and put your video where you did very hard moves, would be interested if you made a video of how did you train when you where in your best level of skills
The long bar biceps extension are extremely good for rehab of your forearm while exercising your bicep. I used to do it after I broke my arm to increase my forearm stability. Light loads and go 30 reps each set. Outside of that some exercises shown with "x" are actually useful and no dangerous, they are not made to be loaded with high weight, they are made to hit some small muscles normally you just dont do or doing it will feel extremely awkward the "normal" way
Of course, coordinative challenges like the ones shown on TikTok make perfect sense, if you want to train that kind of coordination. But unlike training on rings or other suspension devices, don't expect this to also challenge your muscle's strength and work capacity, unless you still have beginner's gains to make (in which case this probably isn't safe).
This generation is much more status and appearance driven than previous ones. Couple this with the need for instant gratification and an aversion to hard work ... 😬 doomed!
I have a theory that I haven't heard anyone talk about and I was wondering if you could tell me if it holds water. The theory is the tension and or stress is just a trigger to signal the blood and resources to come into the muscle. The brain sending an impulse to a muscle or part of a muscle triggers with it the resources to manage the loads that you are handling in an attempt to prevent failure. (Where the impulses goes the blood goes) The problem is that happens on a delay. Once the effort stops the allocated resources continue to rush into the area and restore depleted resources and repair damage. Because the fascia acts like a bag within a bag within a bag. When the tissue is inflated with blood, is warm and more stimulus is applied. The movement is now. Putting physical stress on the fascia as it stretches. Due to the pressure and stimulus. This is allows more resources to pool in the muscles for future loads and aids in repairing damage. There is a limit in the space and time between sets to get this effect. While the strength is the ability to handle load through the ability to send a signal and the tissues ability to respond to that signal and doesn't require size. Size is about resource storage. And tissue density that is a result of extra resources being drawn the the area. Does my theory hold water?
Hey calimove I just want to say thank you for your advice because thanks to your complete calisthenics program I can now do a pistol squad and skin the cat

Guys! I'm having a thing so please! Help !!! What's better, I put more emphasis on training day using pull/push/leg 6 workouts a week with one day of total muscle rest or Do a fullbody with two exercises each (push, pull, leg, core), 3 workouts a week, having more times of total rest and time to recover? The reason for doubt => if we think that the year has 52 weeks, that gives 104 workouts for the "Pull/push/leg" while in the "fullbody" it gives around 156 workouts. for someone who focuses on skills (front lever, planche, human flag, muscle up, etc), what would be better? having more workouts, but with few variations in the muscle group, or less training with more variations in the muscle group? Since with fullbody there would be 2 exercises for pulling, pushing, leg and core, while in "pull/push/leg" you could have 4-5 exercises for each. Thank you in advance for your attention and time for reading this and hugs, guys! Love you all ❤️
I think skinny women came up with the term "toning muscle" because they don't understand that you really can't affect muscle fascia, but if you want your muscles to stand out you'll either have to build them up, and/or reduce fat while building them up, so that isn't toning muscle, that's building muscle and I guess because a lot of women get obsessed with cardio, they like to burn skeletal muscle so that the mirror muscles look different than they should, which, at the end of the day, isn't healthy for the long-term
I am 5 ft and 5.5.inch . I am happy with my height . I don't follow nonsense height videos full of lies. Besides small height is best for Calisthenics ,gymnastics and also yoga 💆.
