Welcome to the start of our Wales Motorhome Tour at Southerndown Golf Club which is a stunning Championship Course. In this video I take on Mr Barlow over 3 holes playing off the yellows, giving Mr B a shot on the 2nd hole. Watch us both struggle and laugh along with us as we both end up in unusual places.
Golf has been played at Southerndown since 1905 and the Club is steeped in golfing history. As well as holding a number of national championships, Southerndown is also home to the Duncan Putter, a tournament for the elite players in the UK and Europe, held at the start of the golfing season in April.
The club boasts a very strong membership for all ages and welcomes many visitors year on year to enjoy the club facilities.
The Clubhouse features glorious views from the bars, lounge and restaurant across the 1st Tee, to the undulating course landscape with an amazing back drop of the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve and Ogmore Estuary.
