Something I've done, its kinda of a cheat, but, everytime you enter the game, the problems are randomized. If you enter the game, then exit and re-enter the game multiple times, eventually a heart will pop up.

Romance increase( if you want to level up relationships the best thing to do is the following: give them the same items- they will spend more time together if they can do the same thing----- make them sing duets and sing together---- do not use the age o matic, adults and children cannot fall in love. --- make them live next to each other---- when it's TIME the mii will ask how to purpose and that's the time when they might get married. --- when they get married, still be wary because miis can divorce or even CHEAT so... --- another great thing! If you don't want a mii coming in and saying "I love you more" in the middle of a confession or purposal I suggest you go to the amusement park. Being stuck in the Farris wheel really makes sure the guys don't blurt out their feelings. Hope this helps a bit!!!

For a mii to get married, you also need to make sure they have good compatibility. If not, the marriage might end in a divorce! Also: Once a certain amount of time has passed and both Miis have a really good relationship status, one of the Miis will ask the player that they want to propose to their sweetheart, which will kick off the Marriage Proposal event. During such, the player has to help the Mii propose by alerting them if the sweetheart is thinking about them. If the proposal ends in success, the Mii proposes and the sweetheart will happily agree to marry, which will lead into their wedding, and then their Honeymoon. If the player refuses, the wedding will be postponed and the process will have to be repeated. Wedding Sorry, it was a spoiler, so I took it out, but if you desperately want to know what happens during a wedding, just look it up!
