The WORST Isle Gameplay Experience I've Had Yet...

I love how accurate to the true isle experience this video is. me : "This looks safe?" The isle: " Haha, awe sweetie...no..."

Bit of advice to help with surviving in The Isle. You can take out organs from player dinos/AI Tenos. You can get them out by biting open the body with normal attacks then pressing G to grab a piece. Should take out an organ if the body's opened enough. The organs you can get are: 2 lungs (Which both give the three dots) 1 Intestine (Which gives //) 1 Heart (Which gives S) 1 Stomach (Which gives diet based on what they had most of. Typically it'll be dots) Organs gives substantially more diet than eating the body too. So it's worth going the little extra effort to eat them.

So many of the changes and decisions the devs make really lead me to believe they don’t even play the game

They REALLY need to bring back global chat, or in the very least, global species specific chat so you can find people to play with. The Isle STILL isn't fun.

Reminds me of the Panjura map… Which every time I try to help a new player, they always end up dying to cliffs.

The problem with the cliffs is that the devs test their maps using Omniraptor, which is resistant to bone break due to smaller weight + ability to jump. So the map is difficult to traverse if you are a heavy dinosaur, since it wasn’t tested with a heavy dinosaur in the first place.

Glad to know it's not just me. I took a break from the isle and came back when gateway oficially realesed on the main evrima branch, and I died multiple times to falling all of the sudden I thought I just got worse at the game pecificly not falling to my death lol. But it seems it's just this new map is even worse than the last in this sense. Great video Man.

This new map is hell. They even made pteras stamina bad when its purpose isto fly and use stamina.

If the blood icon has a plus on it that means you've healed and won't lose blood anymore, also when your low health and that blood icon is going down does not mean you will randomly die you can only die of blood loss when the blood drop goes to zero.

The beginning is like a copy of my suffering lol. Seriously, these cliffs are my nightmare in the isle. Btw 21:45 mud does not work when it is raining.

Once you have the plus sign you aren't bleeding anymore and are recovering blood. You were in no danger of bleeding out when you said you might bleed out lol. When you killed that small carno in the water you could have dragged it out of the water so you could eat it instead of going hungry. Other than that I like your humor and good vid. I subscribed. Edit: I just watched the rest of the video. How in the hell did you live through that deino? You are super lucky or that was the dumbest deino player. I loved the panicked button smashing lol.

What I learned is that the mountains aren’t that steep, but they’re juuust steep enough that, on the way down, a tiny lip will send you flying to guaranteed death. I think the roads are gonna end up being a lot more important for navigation than we may think.

Yo the way bleed works in evrima, it doesn’t deal damage over time, it lowers your stamina regen instead. When there’s a white + on the blood symbol, your blood is healing and you’re not leaving a blood trail.

That thick brown fog that shows up for long periods of time isnt a game feature, its a visual bug. safe logging sometimes fixes it, but so far i havent been able to find any reliable way to fix it. it makes the game so hard to play lol

my man, when u have that x on ur blood drop icon means u r not bleeding anymore, ur bleed is just healing, so dont worry about the blood trails :D

The isle is plain not fun. They have done everything in their power to make it the 'hardcore' dino game they forgot it was a game. Their map designer needs to be fired, it is God awful and it's always been God awful. The game definitely looks nice.. that is if you can see anything or it even runs properly. The isle is trash and I don't see it getting any better any time soon and I'm saying that as someone with 200+ hours in it over the course of many years and many versions of the isle. Theres no sense of community, everyone might as well be AI. Community servers are dead. It's basically sand box pvp with a shitty map. Its just plain bad.

You can still drag a body out of the water if you swim above it and press the grab button, but the body will sink after a while so you gotta be quick, you don’t have to be an aquatic dino to drag bodies in the water.

Lol had me laughing during the beginning with how you were giving commentary in such an annoyed yet casual tone 😂 I been playing The Isle since late 2015 but ever since the diet debuffs were added I've watched 3 communities die off due to poor Dev decisions for the game. The Isle Devs are basically ruining their game more & more making the gameplay so tedious rather than enjoyable :/ I've got sucked back into Path of Titans where I'll probably stay especially since a lot of the servers I use to play on in The Isle (including realism RP servers) have made servers there on that game - probably only a matter of time before The Isle just becomes another game we use to know with a near dead if not completely dead player base.

Who wants to play a game that is now this dark.. not to mention all the bugs and issues in it.. like not being able to eat your food or drink water (as seen with the mud in this video where sometimes things just don't work)!! The painful and nonsense migration system!! This game is so dark now it would be impossible to play it during the day!!

What Isle servers do yall use? From officials I can only use EU ones because of the ping but those servers are always full and for some reason when I get in the server it just throws me out after few minutes. Playing The Isle is no longer fun since the game won't even let me play. I'm starting to lose hope with the servers. I can only play in the EU servers in the morning on weekends when there are less people playing. Please tell me if there is a good EU server that I could use. I really want to play the game that I bought with my own MONEY. :')

I bought this game a few weeks ago and I got bored after like 2 hours. There's just nothing you can do in this game, except for waiting until you're adult. Compared to Path of Titans this game has nothing to offer, nothing to unlock. There is not even a tutorial on how to play the game and what the controls are. Idk what the devs are thinking.

Anyone else feel like the old map before this was better? Legacy was AMAZING to me - now it’s shit compared to now, but the new map is also shit to me compared to the 2nd map

This game is trash. No one plays it unless a new update drops and then everyone complains about the changes and stops playing until the next update comes out. Theres nothing to do but grow your dino and try to avoid getting killed. Its so boring after you put in a few hours there is nothing to the game loop. Even when you fully grow there is nothing to do but PVP. Its a boring game with a very unsatisfying broken game loop.

Do you know about the harvesting of organs in this game? Truly a lifesaver, gives you the opportunity for a perfect diet off the bat once you find a body as a juvi

Not knowing the map well definitely causes a lot of navigation issues. Spend an hour or 2 as a ptera exploring the pathways and you will never have that issie again. Sadly that is all pteras are good for right now

Random tip, turn your graphics down to medium and all the fog goes away.

At this point Ceras are just not fun enough to play. All the other dinos are way more fun to play then Cera. I hope this will change at some point untill well we do have other dinos to play :D

I remember painfully growing a Stego, got to sub adult, only for my game to end in disaster when I sat up from a line of bushes and moved one step only to fall to my death. As it turns out, every cliff in the Isle is laden with bush lines conveniently hiding straight drops to instant death. You can even find corpses of other players that way to eat if you're a carnivore, lmao. Whoever designed this map was a sadist.

21:05 just like with the drinking from water, if wallowing doesnt seem to work try to go a bit deeper into the puddle and try again Edit: 22:25 the white Plus symbol in the bleed indicator means you have stopped bleeding and your blood pool is regenerating

I’ve quit playing. The pounce bleed nerfs and stamina nerfs have made my favorite dinosaurs unplayable. Raptors are utterly toothless, a pack of 12 adult raptors, _skilled raptors_ , don’t have the stamina or damage to kill other adult players. I refuse to kill babies, and hunting nothing but AI gets old real quick.

one suggestion I can gove you instead of using a map os to use paths. Even though they are slow they can help you navigate the map better and you won’t run the risk of falling down a cliff. Another one would be following the migration zone. even though the one you followed lacked animals to feed on, There are some that have plenty of that. You can also grab food by pressing G.

focus on your nutrients, ur constantly with shitty combos and not even filling the ones u have. (get the organs at least)

The game was meant to be realistic. Stop asking for arcade. They made the game to be a realistic one. Not a full on arcade where you just run around and fight everything. 1. It’s simply boring to just PVP everything in the span of 5 to 10 minutes. 2. Stam was a less relied on since no one gave a single turd and just wanted to kill things. 3. No one really cared about their Dino’s own health or sanity/stam when it came to playing evrima. 4. Stam changes made everyone’s eyes open and notice. “Oh shit! Maybe I should not be running around like a dumb dumb and kill everything just for sport.” This is a common thing in evrima and in legacy before these updates came. 5. No the map was tested with all Dino’s you are playing. And no shit you will break your legs or die from falling down a cliff. Your Dino isn’t made to go down cliffs because A. It’s heavy B. It’s literally not made for traversing up steep cliffs and down them. And C. Just get yourself a used to the map and learn paths. It isn’t that hard. 6. I don’t know why everyone thinks this game will hold your hand and grace you with “hey I will keep you safe and never hungry” this game is realistic and will punish you for not eating. You hunt a big kill and make sure to get nutrients so you may grow faster. It’s like real life. (Take care of yourself and needs and you will be slightly happy) -PS if you wallow in the rain the mud wouldn’t stay on you because it would just simply wash off.
