It's the old 'don't pay until you see the goods' lesson, if they ask for payment before you even meet then you know there's something not right, it's common sense.
@@TheGreg6466 not to mention the odds that someone is going to report the scam is next to zero. "Hi police I got scammed trying to get a prostitute can you look into this?"
Or maybe stop being desperate and inept and try to have a normal human relationship instead of simping for bitmaps, I bet that's an option too, and it doesn't require any pre-payments to random nigerians XD
@@michaeldunham3385 where do I talk about a relationship go to bar find a woman one night stand both go your separate ways, you're the one talking about relationships here.
Wow. I'm pretty shocked by the lengths this scammers go. As a Nigerian, I know that if Mr. G gets caught by fellow scammers, he'll be killed. Please tell him to stay safe.
He is definitely loosing his life and probably a loved one when they watch this video I'm sure of that Nigerian cultist are deadly and have no human sympathy
LOL. Not too long ago the same thing happened to me. A scammer also threatened to send pictures on social media and to friends and family. So all I did was tell the to go ahead. I told them that there are people who don't like me, and it won't bother me if one or two are added to that list, plus people might mock me for while, but as it is a common thing these days, they will get over it in a few months or so. Then I reported them, blocked them and guess what, nothing ever came from it. I know all the tricks scammers have. From their ways, to their speach and even certain words they use. They are not as clever as they think they used to be.
Haha I got tricked into this before. but when they tried to blackmail me little did they know that I'm not shy or insecure about my body so I told them to go ahead and send the pics to everyone they could think of.. they didn't like that and got angry so they switched to trying to make me think it was illegal and they were actually the fbi and were going to arrest me if I didn't pay😂 all they got was more pics. As I watched this again I realized mine wasn't quite the same. It wasn't ever a pay for sex conversation and they didn't talk with broken English. More just went straight to being NSFW then just tried the shame blackmail thing. They actually spoke so normal I just assumed it was a someone from at least America..
I guess I was a little embarrassed about getting caught up in something as stupid as that.. This is the only time I've told anyone.. Not even friends.. But now it's online 😂
It must be difficult for to get the victim to trust that he is legit. This work is awesome though. I love your passion to help victims, Hope victims undergoing through such trauma don’t give up because they are more people out and people with such incredible skills like *Johnson spy* out there, Hope they can also use there knowledge and skills to help others and not just messing around,Thank you for doing this
*Johnson spy* , I really admire how you stay focused and always remember there are victims, real people, losing their money and even killing themselves because they are ashamed at falling for these scams. God bless you and keep you,Damn it feels good when you expose these guys, for some reason, other RU-vidrs are nervous to do so. You're the king!
Don't feel too bad. I recently went through the same thing. We were planning on meeting up and then she started talking about bringing music gift cards to the hang out. Also had some weird story about being a model traveling through California. You can usually spot them pretty quickly. Don't ever send pics or personal info or money to someone you've just met online. Best way to stay safe.
I actually fell for the sextortion scam. It was hilarious when she said she was going to get the photo's I sent her published in my local paper, and send them to my family as well if I didn't pay her. I replied: "That's GREAT, I am an aspiring porn star seeking exposure, how soon will they be published?"
They tried that with me and tried to blackmail me saying all that nonsense and all that garbage I totally go ahead and do it I've already posted all that stuff online they're never going to do it did he say they're going to do it do nothing but children just kids in over their heads because they're eventually they're going to come across somebody that's not playing the fucking game and that's actually going to find them and hurt them and that's horrible these kids have no idea what they're doing they don't know the reality of the world and some of the people that are in it
Man, to anyone reading this who may have also fallen into this trap and is concerned - I can tell you right now that a newspaper isn't going to publish those photos. Trust. That's how you can tell these guys are full of it. This is a great response, I bet it ruined their day 😅

LOLOL. Just had a scammer threatening to tell my boss that I’m a woman married to a woman unless I gave him $300. I retired two years ago and the company I worked for was very liberal. Next?
Heh, had someone try to say they had webcam footage of me... Which was funny cause I haven't used a webcam in about 20 years. When they said they were going to send it to my family unless I paid, I said "Sure! go ahead. Mom has been real worried I haven't been social enough." .... Never heard back from them. Mom is still waiting on the footage.
exaggeration? 20 years ago people were trading pics not webcam videos im pretty sure, IDK maybe im thinking about the late 90's not 2001, shit im getting old
@@gopherhole8341 I had a webcam nearly 20 yrs ago, in high school. Definitely not too off base! Of course I was too scared to ever use it because "internet stranger danger" was so deeply ingrained into me. For the best, honestly!
I ran afoul of one of those sextortion scammers. They threatened to send incriminating material to my Facebook list. They got very mad at me when I refused to pay and told them to do it. I even started suggesting who would enjoy it most. They eventually just gave up and blocked me.
I was on OKCupid a couple years ago and I'm good at spotting trolls and scammers, so this Russian girl messages me saying we should email instead since she wanted to delete her profile because of all the pervs she said. I said okay and in the back of my mind I was just wanting to see if this was fake not taking it seriously. So we started exchanging emails for 3 months if I asked for a picture she would send it, if I asked for a video her face wouldn't be in it and she would have excuses about her phone not working. She called me twice and all I could think of, "This might be real" until she asked for money. Then I used another email address to message her and she used the same copy and paste message she sent me in her first email. These romance scams I can see how people fall for some of them, I hate scammers!
@@margaretduszak660 don't be ignorant Nigeria is a nice country with great culture and rich food if you ever visit you would enjoy yourself as long as you stay in the main cities you make it seem like scammers are just roaming the streets freely or something I would have you know that the treatment they get is even worse here if you don't believe you can check online and see that many of them are arrested as soon as evidence is found of their scamming.
One time I met a girl on tinder who sent nudes and tried to get me to as well but I figured it was fishy so I asked her to send a pic holding a spoon up to her face and she never did it. Definitely one of those scams. I knew what was up and didn't send anything lol
This is the most dumbest Scammer I ever see he really believed that's really him😂😂😂 I guess they never watch American movie in the world about it why they need another man naked picture that's pretty gay to be honest
One thing we should keep in mind is this: how often have you received pictures from someone who is the victim of the scam? In other words how often have they followed through on their threat to send revealing photos to “everyone in your contacts“? This ends up being a paper tiger 🐅 (an empty threat). It’s far easier for them to make such a threat - and much more profitable - than it is to follow through on it. There’s no financial incentive for them to punish you by following through, Also, once they have followed through on their extortion scheme, they have then made themselves prime targets for legal action. And they have motivated their victim and their victim’s friends and family to take every legal action against them.
Good point. However it's still possible for those pictures to end up on the internet and most people wouldn't want that. I don't understand sending them to anyone ever but that's different.
The art and heritage represent in this help is beautiful, inspiring and has represented *brian hacks online* and co in a way I can't find words to express it. Just another reminder of what you're made of and can do when you work hard, embrace one another and don't forget whom handle is above,..
Dating apps have all sorts of liars, not just scammers. The tamer liars who aren't looking into stealing money are simply just lying about themselves to get a date. I tell everyone to never use these dating apps, they are dangerous!
Almost every person who asks you to add them on snapchat is a scammer. I mess with them all the time using 2 different snap accounts. Funny how there location is always right near your town and they use GPS spoofing to "prove they are near you" on the map
@@TomOostenrijk I do agree, but it's where I met my fiance and we have been happy together for 7 years. Sometimes you get lucky. I just know of specific apps that I use to scambait when bored, funny how the IP always comes back from Nigeria lol
Wow if anyone tried blackmailing me with nudes threatening to send them to my employer I'd laugh and say go ahead. The fact the people can be blackmailed with that says just as much about employers as it does about the scammers. Everyone (some exceptions) likes sex, has wants needs and interests. If they are able to be blackmaile its ridiculous, only time that should be frowned upon is if their desires were criminal in nature.
What r u talking about? Not everyone works at mcdonalds guy. Some people have real jobs and have reputations to maintain. U r so low statuswise u dont have any clue.
I'll be real with you if you don't show your face and naked picture because your face not in the naked picture now if your face in pictures than you in trouble

And attempting to kill myself because this was such a scary experience. But I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re a freaking hero.
I know the feeling too well but its what I get for being naive and not sure if you heard of the new twists of dating scams such as using sex crimes accusations till the mask falls which always ends up as money fale law firms fake police department calls fake private investigators calls fake angry father calls that whole thing
Once, I was online looking for someone to share my life with. Never again. Two ladies at the same time did the very two things that made me decide single life over the internet attempt. One, strung me along occasionally asking for 'help', though she never got any, her long game was she needed "time" but we'd be together.... after years of not giving her money, and not being with her, I blocked that one. All the while the other lady, supposedly from Ghana... asked for money to get her passport, (I never sent it, I suggested she apply for asylum, and then come to my address), she sent a photo... to entice.. and suddenly I realized I had seen her before. HOW? How did I know this picture?? She had sent a photo from a magazine cover I had recently passed in the grocery store... blocked...Online relationships are almost always an attempt at futility. Save your sanity and emotion, and believe you only need you... if that partner comes along, be happy, if not.. oh well I guess.
Man I love this channel, is so entertaining, I just keep smiling by how well these videos are made, the background sounds/songs just matching exactly at the point but most especially, *the drums when Nigeria is there* just gets me every time 😂
I almost fell victim to something similar where I went to meet a woman off a "dating app" a few years ago, not far from my home luckily I was on a motorbike because when I sent the text to let her know I was near her house a group of guys got out of a car parked outside the stated address looking around.
Lol but u would of been wrong if you would of shot at them right ? Scamming at its finest they wanna play stupid games be prepared for the outcome not everyone plays like this smh
If you suspect someone is a scammer like they won't do a video call or it's not a real conversation like it's really short or there is no sound. Throw out some yuroba then you will get a real video call. If they haven't seen you cover your cam and don't say anything listen to the background noise and they will usually show themselves. Keep in mind if they see you on a video call can record the screen and use it to scam more people. Oloriburuku is an insult they really hate they will usually respond with yuroba, say an insult back like saying "your father"
TBH this happens a lot over Facebook as well. Random people will add you and try to have a similar conversation and then try to video chat you. I’ve been warned never to video chat with them by friends but I’ve definitely had my fun leading these people on 😂
Yeah it happened to me but the person messaging me was friends with me for a long time but they had been hacked ig, thats why I didn’t suspect anything🙄
I have had a few guys on Facebook trying to scam me. I normally dont except messages from people I dont know if I do I am bored and want to talk usually in 5 to 10 mins I report them and block them. Plus I work to hard for my money and I don't even send money to my friends or family.
Hello, Mr. Ben, I would like to tell you something about the video that you are talking about. The story that you are telling is almost irrelevant to me. I put myself together and investigated the person with whom I was chatting on Google Chat and I want to tell you that it was not the person. person I was talking to was pretending to be someone else when I found out I sent her a link and she said she was living in New Jersey and when I sent the link to her it came out that I was not living in the country she was living in, she was living in another country which is Katsina, Nigeria, when I found out I told her that I sent her a Screenshot and she said that it was not true that she lived in another country, I told her that she is using a VPN and I told her I already told you I found out and don't lie to me anymore, tell me the truth, that's what I told her, Mr. Ben, what do you think?
Good job bro i almost fall in this on Bulgaria realy far awy from you countri. And i do the same send a link and she((he)) say same to me that this Scammer say to you.
I love watching your videos. I am a fraud investigator myself, so I really enjoy learning from you. Thank you for the content. I actually just purchased Chikaordery's book and it is an inspiration, thank you for helping her.
Greetings. I am a victim of this. I have seen a video where he says not to just do nothing to not get money back. The bank can actually get back some money if things are still up I reckon. What does the bank need from me in terms of proof it is scam? It should be told I am suicidal.

My stepdad got hooked into this. Sent thousands of dollars to then. Bought vigra sent dick picks was expecting a hookup at hotel. It was bad almost ended in divorce
Scammers should be BANNED from the internet and they should really learn their lessons the hard way because they just want to try to take advantage of you and steal all your money and your identification and by the way, the worst types of scams that I hate are the scams with these links and even the scams where you have to pay with a gift card and lose money

So here's a personal story for you all. One time I was talking with this girl who was supposedly nearby and staying with her aunt from the U.S. Sounded like we were going to meet and have a good time, but I say "Now you're not gonna make some stupid excuse and ask for a gift card before I arrive lol, right?" And what does she say? "But how will I keep the children distracted while you come over??" She *actually* had the audacity to legit try and scam a gift card off of me even though it was clear it wasn't gonna work lol. I'm always saddened and amazed by how many scammers and how many types of scams there are out there. I've had already 4 cases in my local area where the girl *seems* nice and close by, but when you want to meet up they always ask for a gift card first; it's so obvious.
I had a friend who’s only in his 20s and fell for one of these guys and I guess he sent them nudie photos and they threatened to release them unless he paid. So he sent a public message to every single person in his contacts saying they were going to receive naked pics of him 🤦. I felt so terrible for him.
