I completely agree with every single point you make in this video, but I don't think the Len Bias thing is much of a point. Len Bias death was a huge story, incredibly culturally significant, signaled a major issue with the NBA at the time and since never played he's always been a huge what if. I think bringing him up in a history of the NBA video is normal. Great video nonetheless.
Someone said it in your twitter replies - Rebound is the WatchMojo of basketball RU-vid 😭 basic list-style content and they get the same 0-substance comments like "It's a good day when Rebound uploads" "Rebound never fails" "Rebound pin me" .... Nevertheless, take it as a sign of motivation that a 3M+ channel looked to you for content ... ideas? Inspiration? Whatever you wanna call it 😂 it stinks now, but it's indication to keep making stuff that's more than, as you said, what's typical of NBA RU-vid out there.

Bro I’m just now seeing this video. I started making this exact type of video in June after seeing a formula 1 version blow a channel up. I was aiming for mine to be super in depth. About hour and 20 minutes to make it like a full movie. It to be tons of work so I kept just chipping away at it over the summer and was only about 50% finished. The moment I saw your video when I did another search for it last month, I knew I couldn’t do it anymore. At least not with that exact title and thumbnail. I wouldn’t feel right. I guess I’m just writing to say keep doing your thing man. It sucks what Rebound tried to do but you’re killing it and nothing’s gonna stop you. You’ll be doing this full time before you know it.
I used to watch Rebound when they were more bearable, hell, sometimes I’ll just watch the dumb shit when I want NBA videos without having to think much because I’m too tired. But I can’t stand for plagiarism

I used to be a script writer for this channel and I insanely regret it. He hired his staff through UpWork and paid $15 per script which he was NEVER satisfied with. He had insane requirements for his content and treated all his employees terribly
I think Rebounds content is cringe too but all your points are a reach.. Neither of you guys came up with the idea, title or thumbnail. All been made before.. The NBL / NBA joke has been made before, and both you guys delivered it very differently. Also, it’s not like it’s a hard joke to come up with.. The Len Bias thing was huge when it happened, so its pretty reasonable to have in a video like this… Also both of you guys did it very differently. And honestly a channel of Rebounds size probably had that video in production way before you posted yours, don't you think? I just looked at their editing and stuff, seems like it would take a lot longer than a month to make that… Keep up the good work tho, I fw your videos!!

I also want to mention that the channel shown earlier a.k.a Hoopflix. Shows in all of there video descriptions that there “previously the team of Rebound” now shortened to “previously Rebound”.

If you look at rebounds description for his channel, it’s literally “the dumbest basketball content on RU-vid”. I know he’s probably being sarcastic but it’s kind of ironic 😅
That’s what most big RU-vid channels / content creators do they still from up and coming guys, it’s just that today it’s easier to find out. I literally see some videos copied by French/ Spanish youtubers from American ones just translated with the exact same words/ jokes. Those people will never find out because they can’t imagine that a RU-vidr in france is stealing their content.

REBOUND IS DEFINITELY GARBAGE. I hate that they have some high quality editing because i think it’s wasted on some clickbait vids & stolen content. They also have some other channels with the same hyperedits and thumbnails so they definitely are getting a bag off it.
Lol I swear I saw the same thumbnail when I saw his video at school tho 😂😭 tbh even tho his thumbnails is crazy if you actually watch the vids it be true sometimes, no matter how crazy it looks 😭😭
