I'm sure you've already been told, once you go to get your CPAP machine & mask fitting, the tech will work with you to get the fit that you like and will always be there to help answer questions. They'll walk you through everything. The full mask is an option I too had to take due to being a mouth breather, once you dial in the fitting to your mask where you like it ( I have the F10 style from ResMed) you won't have those red marks, you won't have issues. The first few nights are the weird ones, but after waking up fully refreshed and energized you'll realize how amazing it is. You'll even wish you had gotten it sooner as you'll notice you can breath better all day as your lungs get stronger. THE ONE THING you need to be on top of, is cleaning your mask, tubing, and water tank. ALWAYS use distilled water, not any form of drinking water to fill your tank. Stay positive. Care about yourself as much as you do about AGP! My Husband had sleep apnea In his late 20's. Not bc he was overweight ,but bc he was a smoker. He Is Almost 6ft 140 pounds. When he stopped smoking the sleep apnea went away within a month. Now at 37 we are trying to get his cholesterol under control. Please take care of yourself, and you will be surprised at how much better you will feel and inspire others to do the the same.

I've been using the full face mask for 4 or 5 years now (can't really remember). You have to get use to them. It takes a little time. The nose mask is awful.

Had a sleep study for insomnia.... Of course with all that shit attached to me in a strange place I couldn't sleep. Loaded myself up with Ambien and Xanax to fall asleep at all and they tell me there was no problem. Waste of time for insomnia, but useful for checking sleep apnea without insomnia.
