@Jacob Perry I mean, I mocked Leonard to us multiple times leading up the draft, just a round later. He wasn't a complete unknown in draft circles. I thought he would be a good fit in our defense, but I had no clue he would be this good.

All I know is that... at long last.... Leonard and Nelson have completely eliminated the word “soft” from any description of the Colts.... and I love it! As far as being called a bust and the worst pick of the draft? Well.... the feller who wrote that can wear it around his neck for the rest of his career. 🤣🤣🤣

All I can say is Darius earned the first year of his new contract. He's only been in the league for four seasons, but if he can continue his dominance for 3-4 more years at least, I think he'll start entering Hall of Fame conversations

Ma man, you're my favorite player since the first game you stepped in NFL. I confess that before you and big Q draft year I've never seen or been interested so I don't care about draft positions, but the plays and moves proved itself. Me as a Brazilian Colts fan I'm used to it, all the time I watch in Brazilian football (soccer) underdog players making all the way through big stages after media criticism. We went to Jacksonville to watch the game that year and his brother was sitting in front of us with his jersey on barking everytime Darius would make a play. I thought it was pretty cool. So many players in the NFL who were supposed to be “ so called” busts and raised up to challenge ahead and I am proud the Colts dare to look further than just the “consensus marketing value” of players. Never judge on the draft position. You are just a great man/player Darius!
