People will talk and say that they disagree until it's time to apply for PR 🙃My own advice would be to tell anyone coming to please enrol in a 2 year program if they can. For PR, you need the equivalent of working full-time for one year to qualify and you can never predict how long it will take to find a job that meets up to your NOC code. If you study 2+ years, it gives you 2+ years of Post Graduate Work Permit which gives you time to find the right job and not have to rush for PR. I've seen people take short courses and not find jobs and omo, it's not funny at all. Anyways sha, great video as always my darling! 🥰

You can also enroll for an online courses in your field or program you wish to apply for. Then see if it’s what you can do. I’m learning project management online and planning to come study post graduate diploma in project management. Not easy at all. Because I don’t like book 😂 but I’m happy for the online course I’m taking its preparing me well for the main deal.

I disagree with you regarding your point on no 4 - Gender Studies et al. I have experience as a Project Manager in the social impact sector where I was responsible for designing programs that address social issues that impact women, children and communities. In Toronto, avoid Yorkville University and International Business University because they are private; not all their programs are PGWP eligible. Also, avoid Toronto Metropolitan University due to recent name change from Ryerson University. Very few people heard of Toronto Metropolitan University.

IRCC will prioritize on 82 occupations for ITA (inviation to apply) PR. If you are in one of the 82 occupations, you just need 6 months of Canadian experience or 6 month of foreign experience to qualify. High CRS score is less important. More important is that you study and work in one of 82 IRCC prioritized occupations. I made some research and found out that social workers are in demand in canada. But i will appreciate your honest perspective about this since you have been in canada. Since you have something in microbiology. Why don't you, instead of taking a social service course, take something to do with sonography, working in the lab kind of courses. Those social service jobs are not even easy to get into. They say they need social workers, but you will be disappointed. I work in social services, and I will tell you that I got this job because when I was in uni, I volunteered once a week for a non-profit social service organization, so I created a network. I did that intentionally because I knew how difficult it was getting a job in that area.

Asy, My name is Augustine, and I am from Nigeria. I am currently undergoing the application process for the Building Systems Engineering Technician Diploma program at Seneca College, but I have come to a crossroad and require more information to make the right decisions. I have a few questions that I would like to ask: 1. I would like to know if it is acceptable to use my WEAC result as both my certificate and transcript issued by my secondary school. This is because I was required to upload both my high school (secondary school) transcript and certificate during the application process. This would enable me to proceed with my application. Note: I am a graduate civil engineer and I have my university transcript and certificate available. I am uncertain if my secondary school transcript is of importance. This is why I am asking if it is acceptable to use my WEAC result as both my certificate and transcript issued by my secondary school.

Asy most importantly don't bother studying courses where you cannot land jobs o or you will only be paid minimum wage o infact do not near courses with limited job opportunities ..... I dont know about the Arts courses but my quick summary jobs in sciences would be.... medical lab scientist, phlebotomist, Nursing, addictions/rehabilitation programs, Health care Aides, Social work,....in these ones there is no shortage of shifts/work to do.
