Round 2 of my Dragons Dogma 2 playthrough! Stanley managed to hide from his sentence at the end there but has since been found 👌 What do you guys think of the game so far?
Congratulations you have played the true Dragon's Dogma 2 experience. Starting a quest, having no clue what to do, having useless pawns give you terrible info, then giving up and googling the solution. 😎👍
You told on the beggar to the wrong wife. Ratting him out to his beastren poor wife is so upset that he's been pretending to be a begger while actually being rich, that she outright murders him herself and then offs herself afterwards.
@@Kelgorr to make things even better I was just trying to get the wakestone shard on the balcony above the door but missed the jump and literally fell into the room the costume was in😂😂
The best quest is the one where if you give the man the books he wants he kills his family by accident. One of the rare quests I completed the right way without looking it up, as I figured he was better off with a forgery and turns out I was right... Otherwise, the quest with the poison guy. To get him poisoned by a chimera is the most hard and obscure thing to figure out how to do imo. Or the griffin guy... This game's quests are something else.
How to do the quest quickly: The beggar leaves the square at sunset. So just sit on a bench. At the bar, you just buy everyone a round and it automatically advances the time and the beggar leaves to go home. Quest done in 5 minutes.
I didn't even know this quest had this much going on. When I found his beggar's clothes I gave to a beggar woman in the slums and they both died. A happy ending, I think.
If you find his home in the noble quarter you can give the clothes to his actual wife and he tries to make an honest living the moment he sees she put his beggar's clothes on their bed
@@Kelgorr you inspire me to make videos more. I work a full time job, and it’s hard to find the time. I can tell a video like this must take HOURS to put together, it’s so good! We have the same sense of humor, I found myself rewinding parts repeatedly. 😂
@@SunBunz I had a look at your channel as well and you aren't kidding our humour is pretty similar! If my videos help you to create more too (even a tiny bit), then that honestly makes me super happy. Making content is super time consuming, with full time work on top of that as well? I can't even imagine. I subbed so when you do post more I'll maker sure to check it out 😁
Literally every NPC that blockades your house to initiate their escort quest. If you refuse they lose affinity and there is no way around them you have no choice but to either walk with them or prob be stuck romancing Brant.
Yeah, I wish they didn't loiter in front of my house. I use them as an extra party member, but sometimes they don't have any weapon so... yeah, not great
The Rivage Elder might be a crazy Jimmy Toothless but the old man does know he’s living in an never ending cycle, also telling us we don’t have eyes and ears😂
So considering he's a begger, I slept till nightfall and went straight to the slums assuming that's where he was xD I didn't have to follow him almost at all. The whole quest took me like 15 minutes total lol
If anyone doesn't know or care to know, you can actually take the Beastren women from the slum's tavern (Walter's Tavern) to Baldwin's Estate, aka Beggar wannabe's house, and the wife & mistress would start a cat fight. Afterwards, I believe that Beastren women would take the guy out and he's gone from the game permanently. (Or at least that's what happened to me xD)
You're right, I'm a terrible person. I found your descent into madness, hilarious. 😁 But seriously, screw that beggar. I couldn't stand that quest, even though he gives a clue about the sphinx.
I got really lucky. I was going around town at night entering people's homes and ransacking their places. I ended up stumbling across the beggar's house at the right time and grabbed his clothes and ended up progressing the quest by accident LOL.
Click the video, enjoy every second, and see you have less than 1k subs? What the fuck? The quality of the writing and editing is insane I hope you pop off soon
I had traumatic flashback's to my early play through watching this video I'm also glad I'm not the only one who's addicted to flying towards the ground from high heights it's good fun can't knock it until you try it. Also great video the jokes are funny and the editing is good. thanks to Steve i am now subscribed looking forward to you're future content.
Another great video, glad I subbed. I fully beat DD2 the other day, and man there's some cool shit ahead for you. I wonder what you'll play once the dragon's dogma has been defeated.
Thank you! I'm really looking forward to getting further in and seeing it all. I'll definitely be doing the Elden Ring DLC and one or two vids on the new Destiny expansion when they come out in June 👍
The begger quest has 3 outcomes and, going by your content, you may have enjoyed the "bad end" to it. Spoilers below for anyone not having done said quest. If you give the clothes to his catgirl wife in the poor quarter she goes on to do a murder suicide. Takes her own life after stabbing him to death.
I just entered town from the slums and the guy was at the bar having a drink. Followed him from there. Unfortunately, because of my actions, some tragic things happened. He learned not to mess with "Hood women" that day!
I can see why you didn't like the the Beggers Tale quest the funny thing about that quest is there are 3 out comes to that with the last one being the darkest outcome. 1. show his rich wife the baggers outfit and get 3 onyx. 2. show him the baggers outfit and take his bribe money. 3. show the baggers outfit to his second/secret wife the beastren woman next to him at Welter's Tavern where she is both sadden and very angry that he is in fact a total scumbag and when you come back to city a few days later you see the gruesome outcome, she confronted him waited for him to turn around then stabs him multiple times in the back then takes her own life afterwards.
That was some incredible video editing. We need more. But who will inform him about Ulrika? I almost feel it will be funnier not knowing. I am eager to see the outcome of this and her removal. Next time on Dragon's Dogma 2, "Why can't I finish this quest, what have I done?!"
@@Kelgorr Of course 😁. I'm also a sucker for In the Hall of the Mountain King and your incorporation of that with the Powder Blasts at the end was a thing of beauty.
honestly i just browsed the web till he stopped talking and then i followed him, then did it again till i completed the quest, it is a time sink but i'd hardly call it that bad, i've spent way more time in a dungeon queue in an mmo
So I sort of skipped the following the beggar part. I did not even pay attention to getting the quest and I was going through houses in the city and loot them. Came across the house with the beggar’s clothes in it, picked them up, and quest moved forwards lol
I'm on NG+ i don't want to do the quests again, especially the boring Brant quests, changes clothes, go there, come back, talk, pass time, change clothers, go there again, come back, pass time, talk, changes clothes.. GO THERE AGAIN. The devs who was in charge of the quests should be fired
@@Kelgorr Yeah that's why i'm still playing, there's a lot of things that i don't like in the game that could be easily improved but still having fun with it. I'm lvl 73 but i don't play intense. I still have vocations to try. Only 3 vocations at max for my arisen, I play it slow deliberately so i have reasons to play for a longer time :)
Exactly my experience as well. Just lots of little things really. Taking your time on single player games is the best way since nobody to race or keep up with 😄 it's nice not having the pressure.
I liked the beggar quest i thought it was great. Has 3 endings either talk to the beggar he gives you 5k gold for finding his garb and keeping quiet , talk to his wife in the noble quater and she givea you 3 onix stones but if you talk to the woman at the bar in the slums she talks to tge woman in the noble quaters and then attacks the beggar feom behing killing him then kills her self and you get 3k gold and some flowers.
Well I don't know what the hell happened in my playthrough, but after the beggar went into that unremarkable building and locked the door, I didn't wait like you did. I came back later and there was a Vernworth guard outside that door, who told me that a man and woman were both found dead inside? Or something like that, it was one of the first quests I did on release day. Although it turned out to be a tedious quest, I still can't believe I somehow missed all this! Was it a glitch / bug or did it happen because I did not wait for him to leave the building? It was only hours in the game, or maybe a day until I went back!
That sounds like one of the other endings that I've seen people mention. It's weird that that would happen... unless it's intentional and his Beastren wife followed him there the following day? Maybe another way the quest can be resolved.
@@Kelgorr Yeah possibly. Hmm maybe I did talk to the Beastren wife, I can't remember exactly as it was a while since I did the quest! I remember it definitely didn't go through this long process though.
On my new game plus playthoguh i was wondering the city at night and his door was wide open so i just snatched his garbs and then delivered it i didnt even have to wait and didnt even dtart the quest 😂
in a ng+ no way in hell was i going to do that beggar quest the normal way I passed time in the slums until the beggar showed up then carried hilda to him. Hilda and the beastren had a lil slap fight and then i got the bad ending... but it took like 5 minutes 😎
I had a man i agreed to do a quest for and forget about it and he follow me all over the place and i had no idea what the quest was and noting in the quest menu who could tell me that and no marker on the maps so what the hell can you do? and after a wile when i going to other place on the map he follow and suddently the quest failed lol
Some of these side quests are really starting to annoy me like seriously every time when I'm thinking that I can finally continue the main story there's always some side content that I have to do or else the game will feel too short and I might mess up my story there's just so much pointless filler I have to sit through it's like I'm watching Naruto
ill be real the only quest ive geuninely ever had a issue with was "a beggars" tale cause i cane be bothered to wait 20 minutes infront of one npc. besides that full copium and skill issue💅
@@wolfinstinetheflaming2224 RU-vid highlights things automatically, as far as I know I can't do that one! Also it's no worries at all, seeing what people like and don't like is very helpful!
I really hate how the game gives you zero direction and it's a major downside from the first game where you would know who had side quests or who was connected to your current quest. I know the oracle exists but I think that's a terrible system, just give me a tiny bit of direction and I'll be on my way but it gives you zero and the pawns are no help either.
nah nah, here you can just pick up the cloths at the right time and be done with it. a poisonous proposal is the worst by far, special the 3rd part. sitting there and waiting untilt the moster does the right attack and he be hit by it, meanwhile hoping that not just some random pawns or your own kill that thing.
i kid you not i spent TWO HOURS on a beggar's tale because i ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT figure how to do this quest, i was mad when i youtubed how to do it. there was NO way i could possibly have figured this out...
I saw him go in the door, so the next day I killed him and carried him through. Revived him and handed him his clothes back and that ended the quest lol No rewards
