I can't help but feel some of those incidents were hard to avoid. There's so many cars on the grid, and Monza's not exactly the widest.

And yet so many of the incidents were caused by the more talented drivers. Never saw the 3 races, but I've seen the compilation. Very unusual.

I remember watching this race live! It was CRAZY. What people don't remember is that the whole season was like this to some degree. There was some AWFUL driving in 2015.

Yes I also think that you have to be especially careful in junior categories with punishments because as you said they will carry on their dangerous driving behaviour and be danger for themselves and even worse to others as well.

As a Swede it is great to see some content about Felix Rosenqvist. Even if its mostly about all other drivers crashing in to each other while he takes victory in all three races

The fact that ive heard of about half of these people despite being a casual watcher and it still had all of these crashes makes it even better

i saw stroll's crash but didn't konw this much chaos was in the whole race

I am getting Josh Revell memories

Seeing some of these names altogether is just weird now, that a lot of them have established careers even if they didn't make F1, likes of Rosenqvist, Illott, Gunther, Dennis, Sette Camara are some of the highest rated drivers never made F1. Not to mention the drivers that are in F1, Stroll, Giovinazzi, Russell, Leclerc. And also have Albon and Fittipaldi who are no longer in F1 but have raced (even if only 2 races Fittipaldi has raced). The previous season also had Ocon, Verstappen, and Blomqvist again 2 F1 drivers and one of the highest outside of F1. It weirdly was very stacked with talent. It had its throw aways obviously, also its resident dickheads. Quite ferociously thinking about Ferruci and Mazepin. But overall was quite stacked for a Formula 3 series.

Talking of misorganised races, I would include Malaysia 2009 in there. At the time, F1 had been racing there since 1999 and since 2001 as round 2 of the season in late March/early April. So you would think that they would be aware of the climactic conditions of Malaysia in monsoon season right? Apparently not. In 2009, inexplicably, the decision was made to force the race start to be changed from 2PM local time to 5PM local time. The result was inevitable. Even before the race began, there were ominous black clouds on the horizon as viewed by cameras positioned at turn 1, looking back down the pit straight. The race started in dry, but sultry conditions, but after the first fuel stops, the rain began, as drizzle initially, but then increased into the typical monsoon thunderstorm that occurs at that point in the day in Monsoon season in Malaysia. The weather deteriorated to such an extent that thunderbolts were causing interference with the coverage and people working in the pit lane were running for cover. The race result was declared 31 laps into the scheduled 56, marking the first time since the 1991 Australian Grand Prix that a race was declared before 75% distance, meaning half points were awarded (incidentally, that race at Adelaide was declared after 14 laps)
