I mean I don't think that's necessarily a bad idea, but Blizzard either needs to stop having an overhead tax for the generation up front or allow the generated cards to be discounted. If you're playing "from another class" cards your upfront payment is already the lack of consistency so you shouldn't have to pay a "normal" amount of mana ON TOP of that.
I wish they would change Talgath to "Undamaged enemy minions take double damage. COMBO: Fill your hand with temporary Backstabs." Would be really strong, so you might need to bump it to 5 mana.
It can be totally 4 Mana with your buff. Realistically, it's 4 mana 4/4 combo: deal 4 dmg to 2-4 undamaged enemy minions, and that isn't really game breaking by any mean.
If Reno can poof Starships I just see playing them to be extrelemy frustrating. Even if Reno gets lower playrates, if I ever have a single starship poofed by Reno I will Alt+F4 the game and go to MTGA instead
I think what people miss about quasar is that you don’t need to play it as soon as possible. If you don’t have the setup for it yet or you’re getting aggroed down then you can play a normal game plan and stall until around turn 7 or 8. Then you can play it and pop off on the same turn. You don’t need to high roll it early for it to be good.
Turn 7: Murmur->Grumble; Turn 8: Murmur->every battlecry in the game 😊 this is gonna let me play Undatakah for 1 and have it die immediately and pull off my convoluted infinite shudderwock combo so much faster! They’re gonna nerf it to 8 mana like a month into the expansion though 😢
they release cards forthe end of season. rogue got its good cards early, now the bad classes get their good legendaries to complete the cycle of P2W and force net deckers to buy the newest cards again, to stay in legend lol. the hamster wheel turns.
actually, 3:13 tar slick has a better affect than this card. it will do double damage for all minions, not just undamaged ones. Also, the quasar kingpin garrote deck shouldn't work, right? kingpin would draw garrote and end the draw chain since you need as much damage as possible, and the garrote cast when drawns will end the chain. Of course, there are other cards, but it would require a bunch of setup to not be a highroll fest when a regular garrote deck would just be better
Using quasar and both espionage cards while filling my deck with nothing but draw cards. Have a whole deck with 0 cost cards from other classes. But for real the cards look kinda ass, only neat thing to me is maybe using the new combo cards with a janky combo deck?
