Sarutobi naturally being a ninja card might have actually been some useful tech for Seereax if he knew from the start. Still an uneven match, but it might have helped.

@@basanova22 Not uneven, pure ninjas can definitely beat pure superheavy. Especially having only one piercer. They're equal decks without non-engine. SHS has better synergy with non engine, that's why ninjas cant break past A tier. They don't play well with others.

Like they are like A+ not S, they can compete up to like kashtira cards but once we get beyond it they suck and seereax handicapped himself by not wanting to counter sam directly. He should have tech like more flip cards and daruma cannon would have destroyed sam

Id argue that the deck could hang with what decks are on the wheel, but he bloated the deck with spells and traps the deck just does not play anymore, especially the old ninja monsters, he jammed 2 of the level 5s for an xyz the deck no longer plays, the 6 staples he should have added, should have been the book cards not simply because they counter Sams deck, but they also play into the ninja decks strengths by tributing face down monsters

Yeah, I play em and they cap out at A tier especially pure. I ran them with the horus engine as a backup boost and that was okay but they dont work smoothly, just as two decks to switch between depending on the situation.

I get what Sam is saying about wanting more variety in S+ but the downside is way too severe to warrant it. If Sam really wants to keep the s tiers in S+ then a good compromise might be that after game 1 and seeing which tier each deck is, an S+ tier deck has to take out the Maxx c, ash, etc. Doesn’t need to be that but the s tier decks NEED something to keep up.

@@SliferStreaming Pure vs Pure, ninjas don't need hand traps. He just chose the bad ninjas over the good ones through no fault of his own. Every high rarity card worth using comes in the structure deck, those dragon guys are all high rarity and don't play into the overall strategies of the structure deck. They end up being bricks that cost card advantage to be functional.

Guys you guys are complaining about ninjas being in S+ but didn't Seareax decide to play a bad card deck ratio? There are plenty of Ninja deck users who got to masters with the deck. If anything you guys are just coping about the fact that Seareax screwed himself on consistency of the deck by playing a sub optimal card deck ratio.

I think you're talking about tobari, I do agree the deck is much stronger with him but sucks? They only need tobari prevent being completely wiped out in a single turn like a lot of deck do now, but they have enough interruptions to dominate in a pure vs pure match against most decks.

in season 2 or if there is a season 2, we need someone like Jesse, Pak, or both to just sit down and look at the decks and fix the wheel's because some of these just seem so out of place in there corresponding tier even with staples just like this video for example. Because it seems like everything going from A tier to S+ is almost to 1 sided.

If he knew to play the flip cards as staples for Ninja it would have been fine. Oh well, Ninja is not one of those decks that you can expect to do well with the first time you go into it just because of how many cards it has, and how many of those don't get used anymore.

As a huge fan of Super Quants, I came across a video where someone spliced Super Heavy Sams with Quants and it actually looked amazing. The combos he was pulling off were insane. Unfortunately I have no idea how to play Pendulum much less Heavies specifically so not only am I here for the usual Sam/Deion hijinks, I'm legit hoping to see what they do.

This was one of the best episodes I’ve seen so far. I love both Superheavy Samurai and Ninja on their own since they’re both good archetypes. Note: one of the elemental 'Armor' ninjas(Air, Aqua, earth and flame armor) can raise the level of level four ninjas to level 5 when summoned. This makes going for crimson shadow much easier.😅
