i actually go 57% average in it(im a 53%) but yes i do agree, its very annoying to play sometimes as the armour doesnt work and it has no gun depression
I couldn’t agree more with you! The 260 existence is negated by the E6 witch is better at basicly everythig. It is just like with the t-44 and t-44-100. I feel like WG should give it a bit more gun depresion and turet armor so it coluld go hull down. Maby a bit more frontal armor would be good to. Aniways, love the vid, keep up the good work!
The reason why the 260 is hard to master even with skill is because for its abilities, the tank is just powercrept. There are just other heavies that are better suited at the job. For example. the Is-7 has better alpha and on par mobility with troller armor. Why settle for less?
I find that's an issue in a LOT of vehicles. You'll look through the trees for your next line to grind and realize you've not seen a particular tank in a long time. First game you play you're just like "wow, I get it now." Big problem in Blitz.
I’ve got the 260. I bought it on my account that I had on RU server, which I’ve since transferred to EU. I’ve played 112 battles in it, got 69% win rate and 2600 average damage. I play it as a medium every battle. The mobility is key plus the rof. It’s not a proper heavy. It’s a heavium.
@@phootski rammer, I find the standard 260 penetration ok for most scenarios, because I don’t fight superheavy enemies face on if I can avoid it. And the rate of fire at 2993 is good. Not WZ113 good, but good enough.
Hey droodles, I hope it’s not too late to mention this, remember your wz-132-1 live stream months ago? When you didn’t pen the side of a e100 three times in a row? I’m thinking this is a strong evidence to show those who thinks you have better rng or something that you do get trolled. Btw, those misses were really heart breaking
It's good as long as you're skilled enough. The gun on it is extremely scary in skilled hands but it's a td with no armor so you have to be careful and not rush
i completely disagree. Its turret has amazing armor and in the right situation, you can spill out some damage with it. My highest damage *8911* was done in the 260. And my win rate in the 260 is 74 percent. Thats out of around 200 battles. I just think you need to know how to use it in the right situation.
@@phootski because it does not have the best penetration to begin with, i use rammer. Because the tank is so fast, it is basically a well armored medium tank. So what i do is i go with my mediums and lights and then flank the heavies. Because it is so quick, it gets the job done
in a game of stats, there will always be a statistically worst tank. the goal is to make that worst tank good. they need to do a better job balancing in my opinion. older tanks need buffs, newer tanks need to not come out so damn strong. but that sacrifices money
I rather play any tier 9 on a tier 10 match than this tank honestly. What I think this tank needed is just make it more mobile and make it just like a medium. Bumb up the p/w 10% Terrain resistance 15% And traverse 20% And it would be a heavy thats unique. Probably loved bullying medium and light.
Vk72 is comically bad now. Standard rounds go through its cheeks. And wiggling doesn’t work because then you expose either side of ur turret which is even weaker. And not to mention the hull.
don’t get discouraged droodles, your skill and being able to deal with bad teams with an average tank and still be able to come out on top most of the time truly is the most inspiring aspect i find about your videos. keep up the good work!
My friend got this thing from a snowball. Long story short he went from feeling great for getting free tier 10 to selling this garbage. Mobility is okayish and dpm is okayish , but everything else is garbage. Never buy this thing, and ig you git it for free just sell it , believe me.
Am i the only one that felt like battle one wasn’t really the tanks fault? I feel like a better strategic decision process would have made his game easier…
I agree with the fact that the OBJ-260 is one of the worst heavy tanks in the game because, yes, it doesn't have much gun depression, and it has little to no armor. But I still would roll out with russian hardbass in the background and get out 3k to 4k damage. But one reason why I still keep the tank is for historical reasons. Little history fact: The OBJ-260 was the first prototype built for testing during the early stages of the Cold War. The seeds of the IS-7 were first sown in December 1945 in Factory No. 100 in Leningrad, with a full-scale wooden mock-up produced soon after. Running prototypes were ready for testing in 1946. These tests ran through 1947, ending in 1948 when the designers believed they had reached a finalized design. It was then given the title of IS-7. This final design was armed with a stabilized 130 mm (5.12 in) cannon fed by an autoloader, a total of 8 machine guns, infrared scopes, and armor up to 300 mm (11.8 in) thick. It was the largest tank that the USSR had or would ever produce. The tank was designed to withstand the impact of a shell fired by the 12.8 cm Pak 44 gun found on the German Jagdtiger. The armor on the IS-7 was up to 300 mm (11.8 in) thick, some of the thickest being found on the specific pike nose, formed from homogenous steel. The upper plates were 150 mm (5.9 in) thick angled at 60 degrees. The lower glacis 100-120 mm (3.94-4.72 in) with a slight angle. The side armor was also not to be underestimated. The upper hull was 150 mm (5.9 in) thick, while the lower sides measured 100 mm (3.94 in) and were curved outwards, meeting the upper hull seamlessly. The bending of the lower hull was done in a large press, which literally forced the metal into shape. The mantlet was 350 mm (13.8 in) thick. The turret itself was cast, with the cheeks being the thickest part at 240-250 mm (9.45-9.84 in). They were angled or curved at about 50-60 degrees. The shape of the turret was extremely rounded and smooth all the way around, with no obvious shot traps or prominent cupola. There were slightly raised portions of the turret roof where crew positions were found. The commander’s station on the right was slightly higher than the gunner’s one found on the left. The top of these raised portions had direct vision blocks. In a hull-down position, the turret would have been almost impenetrable. The armor proved not only immune to the intended 12.8 cm but also the tank’s own 130 mm cannon. Anyway, I say that, yes, the OBJ-260 really isn't worth keeping, but maybe it's just me when it comes to collecting prototypes from late WW2 or tanks from the Cold War Era.
Ngl but the 260 isn't bad, just has trash armour. That gun and mobility can save you good at times. Just depends on how you play it and the skill level for a player. My opinion.
Ngl not your biggest fan. But I respect your effort in all the content you make. But I'll say u need to go out a bit. Seems you're looking more pale with every stream.
