My first comment on your channel Jordan: I am so so happy that you made this video, I have been to Egypt 3 times and had never felt unsafe. I have a tremendous love for Egypt and Egyptians. Thank you again!
I am Brazilian and I know that my country does not have one of the best reputations but I love it, I went to Egypt last year and I loved it, it was incredible. I was very scared when I marked the trip because everyone said that I should not go there because it is dangerous, but everything went well, we should not generalize a whole country, there are good and bad people everywhere in the world
I felt the same! I cried when I left. I traveled alone in Egypt, I felt extremely safe in egypt! Before I went I was told by few people Egypt is not safe for anyone, and especially women, it’s warzone! it is SO untrue! I was invited for teas, lunch, dinner, and an Egyptian wedding! People were soooo helpful! I was out by my self pass 10/11pm. Got on public buses were local Egyptian immediately got up and gave me their seat! And I’m not even old! They just wanted to make me feel comfortable! I love Egypt! I would go back in a heart beat!!
@@DennySenjayaxxx a lot of negatives in egypt are true but its up to anyone who like to pick things , is it better to admit bad and wrong things to fix them or its better sweep them under the rug and try to silence and attack anyone who speaks about them ???
I’m from Libya, the country that border Egypt on the west. I’ve been to Egypt and I can only say that Egypt is one of the most amazing and safe countries in the world. Do not listen to the media! ❤️ Egypt 🇪🇬
dude . On average, there are 321,500 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States. then america , one of the biggest countries in the world is also not safe
JORDAN. you are an amazing traveler and Vloger. On behalf of EGYPTIANS, We will miss you in our country.. Thanks alot for showing the real EGYPT to the world.. Good luck in your next country .☺
I cry too every time I leave Egypt and I understood your exact feeling and the look in your eyes when you were crying in the car. I always watch out of the window and take it all in. I’ll be moving to Egypt this year in the summer and be visiting for a week in March and I can’t wait. After 11 years of wanting to move it’s finally become a reality thank you for showing people that there is a good side to this beautiful country
The major problem in Egypt is the government I mean there's a military coupe here 4years ago and the army and the police are the commander just don't try to make problem with any police officer even if you were oppressed .we don't have any kind of human rights right now.and also there is a massive financial crisis due to the coup that's why it's too cheap.i'm Egyptian
I'm out of words, thank you for visiting Egypt and know that you're always welcomed there. Just a tip, if someone cat calls you just shout at him to leave you alone and I assure you, over 10+ other Egyptians will interfere and kick his butt for you. Why? Egyptians don't want tourists to feel unsafe or afraid of walking down their streets, they wish for their country to prosper and for people from all over the world to come here, trust them and enjoy their stay. So, if one local tries to hurt you, ten others will jump in and protect you. Thank you for your positive video, you are awesome ^_^
Thanks for every word you said about Egypt, thank you for the videos you made to the world about such beautiful country like Egypt. And please come again :)
Thank you so much for making this video. I am 16 years old and Aspiring to be an Egyptologist. I have loved Egypt with all my heart for as long as I can remember, its almost like it is a part of me. This video even made me emotional. When I try to explain how I feel to my relatives and my friends, every single one of them told me that I was out of my mind and that I would get killed. I always try to tell them that Egypt is safe and that when I spend the majority of my life there I will not be in danger by they don't believe me. Thank you so much for making this video. It means so much to me.
This message made my day! I remember being 16 years old and spending hours and hours studying Egyptology. There is truly something magically fascinating about it. If it's something that you are passionate about, you can do it! Best of luck.
Kerri-Ann Meakins Okay so firstly I am an egyptian and a proud one, egypt has NEVER been a bad country and a country know for being unsafe, every single place on earth has problems and its flaws, egypt is a lovely country and you saying that you admire it is a pleasure, however, you need to tell your family that america has had 2 school shootings in 2 months, and I guarantee that every place on earth has catcalling.I wanted to address the TRUTH to you.
Egypt is gonna miss you so much😍❤ I will miss your videos here in Egypt, You took me to place I've never been to as Egyptian. I love your personality you are so sweet informative, adventurer and open minded. You are so welcome in Egypt, pls come back soon🌹🌹
you are most welcomed at any time to visit and please know that you are going to love it and please never be shy to ask any body for any thing at any time online or in person so hope you have a great time
As Egyptian I am very sad to see you leave our country ! Actually I discover my country throw your videos ! 😅 I am really happy that you loved our country and hope that you will come back again 😊 I am thankful that you give the real image of Egypt to the world. "Shokran" and wishing you all the best ☺ 🤗
I have been watching you for a while now., I must say you absolutely glowed while you were in Egypt. You have made me put Egypt at the top of my list to Visit now, thank you so much. Much love and safe travels.....
You are honest person. You have said the true brief things about Egypt. I thank you so much for saying such good words about Egypt and i hope you would come to Egypt again one day. Love from Egypt. 🙌 And never cry again because you made sad too.
It is my dream to visit Egypt once in a lifetime...... I don't know why but just want to go there..sometime i think that may be because of the prophet yousuf...😊😊
On behalf of all Egyptians, we are so proud of you . God bless you and thanks . Please come back again and you will find 100 million Egyptians are waiting for you . my greetings .
lost Looking for a way. We Egyptians are Muslims, Christians and few Jews. We do not use Christian or muslim when we introduce ourselves we introduce ourselves as Egyptians 😃
I'm Egyptian and srsly hearing ppl like Egypt makes me cry(of Happiness). My whole life I've thought that ppl hated Egypt and it was a horrible place and wanted to go live somewhere ppl love like America or turkey or Italy or France but I have visited some of them and honestly (not to offend anyone) Italy is 2 hot and to me France is 2 boring (yup even Disneyland) . But after hearing her and Reading comments I love who I am and my country
Hana Aref hi I'm from Egypt and I am Totally with you l also think like you and when l saw ppl say positive things about Egypt I really become very very happy 😊 and also I liked the video very much
You're so inspiring💕 I've always wanted to visit Egypt and you have gave me the push I needed to do so! Since the beginning of your Egypt series I have been saving money and I plan on going in Januray 2019! Thank you for telling us all about your time in Egypt, you're passion and hard work doesn't go unnoticed!😄💕
Thanks for being honest. I've always been interested in Egypt but wasn't sure whether I should ever go there because of people telling me not to and more just like they did to you. But this video gives me the confidence to just go, experience it for myself and then decide whether it's dangerous or not.
Absolutly loved everything that you had to say in this video, Jordan. I am so happy you are shining light to this topic. I am currently dealing with people in my life trying to persuade me not to travel. However, with people like yourself and Poppy you both inspire me to continue to try and travel to as many places as I can no matter what people have to say. Especially if they have never been there or done the research themselves. My first trip out of the country was to Mexico a year ago thanks to you, and guess what this year (in 2 months) I'll be traveling for 7 weeks across Colombia and Ecuador. Thank you for encouraging me even just through videos. Safe travels always and I hope to run into you some day!
Thank you so much for saying this honest message about my country Egypt , and trying to reduce the negativity about Egypt in particular . Thank you so much , really . We all gonna miss you , hope to see you again in Egypt .May God bless and keep you always safe
You’re such an amazing person, thank you so much for making people know how beautiful Egypt is :) because a lot of people don’t know the true Egypt , we always say in Egypt if someone drinks from its water, surely he/she will come back again to it :)
Sllooom Heli I don't care about your words Because Whatever what anyone say I am still proud of my country 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬 And I will not talk to a one that plays with barbie
Sllooom Heli It 's so amazing and admirable that our country is from the third world and we still adore it.we love our country without any reason or any benefits we get.the words in video are so enough for us to be proud of our country,Egypt.
I am an egyptian , and you just made me like egypt more haha , thank you for the kind words , 95% of the Egyptians males or females would absolutely love to accompany you and show you around even travel with you if you just ask for their help.. and they wouldn’t even ask for money or anything in return , but yeah the good and the bad is everywhere .
I’m reading the comments and so touched by all of you who watched her videos that live in Egypt. It’s especially touching because the videos are from a solo woman who visited your country.
What's important is to travel smart! I would love to visit Egypt one day (I've had a fascination with Egypt since I was a child). Dangerous things happen all over the world like you said, so when you travel you just need to do your research. I think it's sad to avoid some place out of blind fear :)
Everything u said is right 😍Egyptian people are kind and almost everywhere is safe, happy to know that u enjoyed yr trip and it has been a great experience for everyone.
I’m going next month for a short time and this video really helped solidify my desire to go. I can’t wait. I’m going with a friend, but if I love it (and I suspect I will) I intend to venture out there, once more, for a looooooong time.
t are you coming for tourism ? cuz it's winter now in Egypt , it's better to come in summer so you can enjoy going to beaches and stuff , right now it's too cold for that . jus saying
sakurakou2009 I’m heading out for the pyramids and Luxor. But if I love it, I intend to go back either May or September for warmer weather to experience the whole of it. That’ll be a far lengthier trip.
I have been to Egypt about 30+times (no exaggeration), some times for work and some times for holidays and have always had a fantastic time. It is a culturally diverse place contrary to what some might think. People are amazing. I am writing this while locked down in Phuket, Thailand. Measures here are extreme with all restaurants closed. I was provided food by an Egyptian man for a week who knew I couldn’t travel back home. I have so much love and respect for people from Egypt.
I've wanted to go to Egypt ever since I was a little girl. When I was 7 I cut out a picture of the pyramids from a magazine and hung it on my wall and told everyone "I'm going to see those!!" I'm 21 now and I told my boyfriend I wanted to go and I asked if he would go with me and his reply was "why the Hell would you want to go there? Its hot, and dirty, and dangerous. Couldn't you pick a place that, idk, won't get us killed?" He completely crushed my dream but now after watching this, I think I'll go without him!! Would anyone like to keep me company?!
AmberW28 I live in egypt!! But in alexandria not in Cairo or Giza, I think you should visit Cairo AND alexandria because Cairo doesn’t have beach but has a river and the pyramids while alexandria has most the things that Cairo doesn’t have
Now, this is indeed one truly sincere, delightful and touching report! I was interested to learn what happened to Egyptians to treat such a young lady wrongly, only to the find out the beautiful conclusion! People of Egypt are still kind and sincere towards visitors and guests, Thank God! And thank you for sharing such beautiful images of those charming places that I have never been to myself! Always welcome in Egypt, dear!
Young lady, your heart is like your eyes. Big, open and beautiful. In the middle East, most people can see your heart. I lived on the middle East as well and like you, I walked away with lifelong friends, Incredible memories and a pain in my heart, because of longing for the warmth and kindness of the wonderful people of the middle East. I can't wait to return!💖💖💖💖
I am Egyptian and i am so proud of you , Egypt is safe guys visit it . We never harm any one we will help you alot if you need something and if you had treated with Egyptians you will know that i am right . it's just a propaganda against us . Visit Egypt and enjoy this paradise 😊
I'm planning on going to Cairo and would like to stay maybe 3 months maximum but heard it is difficult to get in. I'm American living in Greece and would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you.
Hassan Sherif you're absolutely right. Last month me and my hubby visited one of my beloved country Egypt. It's absolutely safe and beautiful... Even we're going to take whole year visit visa Insha ALLAH..
No its not safe. Leave a 7-8 yr old child in middle of crowd for 2 seconds, bye to him , he has been kidnapped. U will get robbered often too. Government do absolutely nothing to normal citizens if anything happens to then. Accept it. Egypt is not safe.
I am Egyptian and it feels like you are talking about another country not mine. You certainly traveled in a month more than I did in my life. I feel so lucky to find your videos. You showed me the bright side of egypt influenced & hope. Wish you best of luck. & thank you
Watching this video and watching you say that the worst thing that u had to leave makes me feel very proud to be Egyptian ❤️❤️ Hope u tell your story to every one who warned u from coming to Egypt and tell them they HAVE TO VISIT It 😃😃
Thanks that you loved Egypt and all Egyptians loved you too .. because of your humble beautiful soul and your beautiful heart ❤️ you are welcome any time at your second home
@Laila well some lazy people like my just hated on her even before I watch the video and had a bad impression, until I read the comments and they were positive. So yeah, I see how it works now.
+Nang Mo Kham Yep. And actually, to me, since the harrassment issue vlog and some questions I had about that situations, it's kinda Not nice to trap people into this vlog using a very sensitive society issue when they were wondering about her situation or what they might able to gain from the vlog so then maybe it can be used as awareness bout surroundings/ update- in case they want to have the same plans/ trips. *Tho the massage in this clip isn't really bad, but still a clickbait- with a deeper culture related- matter as a trigger; it's so unfortunate. Well.. again, I cannot complaint further lol. It's internet. It's all about viewers, anyway :]

This video is the biggest middle finger in the face of everyone who keeps talking shit about our country while sitting thousands of miles away from us on their couches thinking they know everything about our country!
Abe The Egyptian Pharaoh Your country is the best the cleanest safest most organized it’s the dream country for anyone and all the countries are jealous of how perfect your country is that’s why they do a propaganda Is that it?!!
S Matar there is no dream country out there, it's only in your imaginary head, nor was I saying that my country is the best. But lying about certain stuff and talking shit about my country is a red line. And me, defending my country doesn't mean it's the best. I'm sure your country isn't the cleanest, most organized country as well. No need to be dumb to prove your point buddy.
Abe The Egyptian Pharaoh I’m trying to say get over it if you guys are organized and respect the law you would be one of the best countries out there it all starts from respecting the law not to skip the line when nobody’s looking this is the main difference between you and a Japanese or Chinese or Swedish... from here it all starts respect and enforce the laws and rules
S Matar dude, what the hell are we even talking about? You don't even know our laws or constitution to say that we don't respect them. Send me a link with actual percentages of the Egyptians who don't respect and disobey their laws and then I'd believe you. The reason why we aren't like Japan is because Japan doesn't have to deal with terrorism, media lies, 4th generation wars, middle eastern conflicts, threatening neighbours and wars every 2 decades. In fact every time we try enforce the law, we constantly get targeted by the UN and other foreign medias for oppression. Our country is tied up. Please, if you don't know what you're talking about then save it for later.
As a female solo traveler to Egypt, I experienced no issues other than them thinking that because I was American I make a lot of money to spend in the shops and tours. Even that wasn't bad honestly lol. It was the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE
Don't tell me you've came up here in 2000 or something, the best year for people's lives was actually 2012, new things happened, then 2013, it was a quiet year and 2014, it's like 1952 since then with the latest stuff from outside.
@@cicichapman1699 Good, before things got extremely expensive but still affordable for you people, they sell rotten crabs for 150 pounds, which are just 7.5 dollars, the actual Egypt is only in Cairo and Alexandria, do NOT go to Dakahlia, it's a maze alone, but it's my home government.
It doesn't matter where you're going, I don't think traveling alone is a good idea ever. Even if the average person in the country is kind, welcoming and open, there are always terrible people wherever you go (Including your own country. People are people; good and bad exists in every corner of the world). I don't care if it's England or Egypt or anywhere else. I just think it's safer to go places in groups or at least with another person. I don't think you should be scared to take trips, just be as safe as possible while still being open and having fun.
Well said, Leah. There comes a time when one has to stop viewing the world both near and far via tinted glasses. Know where you are and act accordingly.
Pretty sure you will be safe in Japan or Singapore and Iran. Had many female friends travelling to those countries and they felt safer than in their own Western countries Main stream media lied to you. Get out of your house
I live in Egypt and I tell every girl thinking about visiting Egypt not wandering alone in the streets of Egypt Or visit Egypt alone But Egypt is beautiful and safe By the way I am from Aswan
Joy Reviews if men were just more gallant and followed our old customs and traditions girls could be safe any were Men should be the armor of women not their enemies!! this is in general not only in Egypt
in the modern age Egypt was one of the greatest countries in the 50's - 60's. was much safer, much cleaner and very less crowded. take a look at pictures of Egypt back in the 50's you will love it even more.
I can't speak on the behalf of all Egyptians, but as an Egyptian thank you very much for all your comments, I felt your honesty . Your maturity, and respect. Good luck in your trips & hope you enjoy every one of them . I wish you can understand Arabic😀 most of comments are saying we love you & all our tourists . Thanks again miss
watching your videos .. The local people are very friendly and very hospitable and I can't wait to see and experience Egypt myself. And yes catcalling happens anywhere else in the world. I must say you really love Egypt so much and I am not even from Egypt ( Philippines) but I find this video really touching.. Your Egypt series videos really moved me. I even love Egyptian people already just by watching your videos. I cant wait for my 2 week vacation there this year . Just Love #LoveFromThePhilippines
well i am egyptian living in alexandria , if u have any plans going there maybe i can help showing you alexandria or tips in where and when to go and what to try . safe travels.
There is a famous quote in Egypt that says "If you drink from its Nile, you'll come back" And I'm sure that you'll come back to Egypt someday Love you Jordan ❤️
I think you were extremely honest when you tried to show the world how safe is Egypt , therefore if you notice many people who like only to hear negative news about egypt dislike your video . Unfortunately this how in Egypt we are trying hard to change this impression about Egypt .Thank you very much
i want to say thank you for saying such a wonderful things about my country thank you so much I'm 37 years old man you mad me cray when you said The worst thing happened to you in Egypt that leaving egypt After you said that I didn't realize how much that I miss my country . I'm about to get a plan ticket and go visit my country thank you so much 🤝❤
I just want to thank u for your amazing words, i have watched all your egypt videos and literally it was amazing, thank you for telling the truth of egypt and how it is, and i'm glad that you had fun, hope to u to come again asap and thanks.
I am 50 yr old normal white guy in America and I soooo applaud you for doing what you do,,,you are tougher and smarter than most people,, keep it up...
hey old ass man. I completely ignore the point **you are tougher and smarter than most people**. Oof.. my Granda would surpass her IQ in IQ test. and my grandma is tougher than this girl.
This video is wonderful. I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt but have always heard awful things...but by people who have never been. I’ve been catcalled, assaulted, and harassed all in the US. There’s good and bad people everywhere. You should always be cautious and follow your gut. Your Egypt videos have been so inspiring for me.
sratrat78 look bruh , I am egyptian and a girl and proud we won't do anything to you if you don't bother us , we will be nice and friendly and I promise to god we are not terrorists ! We are human just like any other western people . 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬
sratrat78 yeah you can come I am an Egyptian citizen and I know this they are REALLY grateful to there visitors you should come to Alexandria it has many locations and attractions
You are better off visiting any country other than Egypt, especially if you are a female. This chick in the video had an Egyptian boyfriend, a male companion, that's why she wasn't assaulted, although she was verbally harassed as you heard in the video. She didn't understand what was said, but it would make your blood boil. The government figures for verbal harassment show that it is over 80%, and assaults are over 25%.
I'm a girl but my dad signed in RU-vid in his name and my name is Rana and I'm 9 years old I'm born in valentines day and I am Egyptian and I'm in a language school so I live in Egypt and Egypt is safe ok and ilove Egypt if you don't you will be an Egypt hater ok
I also have been told that Egypt was a very dangerous country to travel to. I was judged by a majority of my family and friends as irresponsible. I've been informed by others that I would never be able to walk in the streets with bare arms; which all this turned out to be sadly FALSE. Double standard? When we stop for a minute and think about it in term of facts, how much people are killed every day in the USA compare to Egypt? And do we ever hear anybody stated that going to the USA is very dangerous? Like Enzo mentioned earlier in a comment, ''The news you hear otherwise comes from people or individuals who have NEVER been to the country''. ********** I also share your WONDER and your opinion about Egypte. All your videos say it all. And finally, I also cried when I left Egypt for the same reasons than you..... I thank you for making me dream to go back... Miche :)
Egypt is very safe. It is really When i go to Cairo, I feel more safe more warm more happy more excited and impressed "Egypt is really mother of world"
You remind me of my first Holiday Caribbean Cruise for 14 days. It was my first cruise and I had SO much fun that when it was the last day, I cried. My wife said, "What's wrong?" I said, "It's over." She said, "We have to do more cruises." And we did.
like travelight said bad things can happen anywhere u just have to be carefull so saying because this happen some where it will happen every time is not right
The travel advisories are created by disconnected officials who have likely never been to Egypt and know little about it. Most of these people are bureaucrats and have certain agenda or policy in mind. On the other hand, this video was created by someone who stayed and traveled throughout Egypt as a solo, young, beautiful female traveler. Her words that she felt safe in general in Egypt carry a lot more weight. I would take her advice over any other. Egypt is lovely and Egypt is safe. Much love to Egypt and its amazing people from Pakistan.
