Hey y'all!! I hope you enjoyed!! I'm trying to make lower-effort videos more frequently (not as a replacement to high-effort videos, but just as a fun addition) so expect a bunch more stuff like this soon! (: Also, here's a bunch of the artists who's work was used in the background: Sugar Wounds, Haircuts for men, Bully OST, Armored Core OST, Silent Hill OST, Grimbeard, White Out 1080 Snowboarding, Bl00dwave, Midwitch, Industrial Forest (new song lol, new album drops in September) Buckshot Roulette OST, Watch Dogs OST & Necessary Death! Go support them!! (even though most are just video game soundtracks)
Brother, I think your standard for high and low effort is stronger than a most of youtube. I love it don’t get me wrong, and your high and less high effort content is amazing, but be kinder to yourself about the quality lmao
Poster concept: Don't think About what there saying tour. Headliner, Radiohead, 2nd is Joy Division, 3rd is Have A Nice Life, 4th is Death, Opening is Kendrick Lamar. All are my all time favorites, so this one is just fun. Love the concepts possible.
the fact that Mindless Self Indulgence wasn’t on the “not allowed within 100 feet of a school” tour is hilarious to me because they should be on there 😭😭
@@itsmejak7888 I get where he was coming from as well since the organizers were cramping the bands time for their set when they shouldn't have been, but still, not the greatest way to handle. I hope he's doing well now, he got sober didn't he?
Weird Al did a really cool gimmick tour called the Ridiculous Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour, where he only played deep cuts he never gets to play. For someone who prefers his original stuff, it was my wet dream. I was legit the only one singing along to most of the songs. I know it’s the wrong genre, but listen to Germs and tell me he can’t kill it with rock.
Funny enough, I used to have a 24 year old coworker that would talk my ear off about Falling in Reverse, and ironically, he also flirted with all the minors that worked there
Nah, they still suck ass. Not edgy, not groundbreaking, just a bunch of people who hate each other's politics playing some shotty version of nu-metal combined with the worst of math core. They make "Anal Cunt" Sound listenable.
They're one of my fave bands but I've been into that 70s occult rock stuff forever. The coworker who tries to bond with you over them can't have that conversation.
I agree Ghost fits into his tour explanation but out of all metal sub categories (I forgot how to spell garna? Idk) I feel like metalcore is so not it? Also I love love Ghost they are amazing and great gateway into metal for nubies
One of my friends on Facebook posted the tour poster for Five Finger Death Punch’s tour with Marilyn Manson and Slaughter to Prevail and said “This show is going to smell like piss, cigs, and unpaid child support”. We all jokingly gave our own absurd names for the tour as well, like “The Domestic Violence tour”, “The Neo Nazi Tour”, oh yeah it was great.
StP got a bad wrap because Alex had the Black Sun tattoo in which he stated he got it when he was a young lad (pretty sure its removed now?). Young dudes do stupid things which tends to hurt nobody, so it shouldn't be hung over their heads. Still a superb band.
I got some other tour ideas: The I Hate Young Kids and Fetuses Tour which includes Dying Fetus, Infant Annihilator, Aborted, and Cradle of Filth The Geeky Shit Tour which includes They Might Be Giant, Weezer, Tally Hall, Aquabats, Devo, Weird Al Yankovic, and Ween The Angel Tour which includes Death Angel, Morbid Angel, and Dark Angel The SEX Tour which includes NIN, Type O Negative, Deftones, and Depeche Mode. The Music that plays at a Walmart Tour which includes Train, Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, and OneRepulic The Snail Tour which includes Sleep, Earth, Sun O))), and Grief
The Geeky Shit tour sounds fucking sick, I'd shell out a lot of money for those tickets. The SEX tour also sounds incredible. They can sell condoms and Plan B at the merch stand. 😂
Ugh I bought a can of their coffee from 7/11 because I needed caffeine on a road trip. Imagine my surprise finding out they're run by brain dead neo Nazis
am i missing something? because i thought kim dracula's fans are mostly kids from tiktok, their mums still wash their clothes so i am not sure they are that smelly 😂
no shit my dad wanted to go to an in this moment show (i’m not into em but wanted it to be a bonding moment), kim dracula opened for them and everytime the people (?) next to me moved or cheered i just smelt this horrible stench
Alice Cooper dropped his transphobic arc the WEEK after i got my Alice Cooper Muppet Show tattoo finished and im literally trans like the irony is INSANE
@@ronmastrio2798 ah that's the thing, i read a book about his career in MUSIC but mostly, he was "on the Muppet show on time with the COOLEST song." so i know a lot of things about him but somehow the political aspect didn't really come up until later 🫠
@@jasperwisecarverhe didn't even really say anything bad. He just called it a fad and sorry but that's kinda the truth. Especially all the kids who "identify as trans" when in reality they just want to rebel and feel special and different. Same reason I grew my hair out painted my fingernails and wore cannibal corpse shirts to school
seeing falling in reverse, slaughter to prevail, and fucking tech n9ne in the same setlist made all of my vital organs shut down. its like a vomit and cat food smoothie
@Nickykitty92 if that’s actually true then become the knight must be a massive weeb, for anyone who doesn’t know about him, google him, he’s an annoying guy who only likes dream theater, opeth, and a few Metallica songs
@@zombieedreayeah chino is normal he’s mostly just said that the band smoked too much weed in the 90s and that fucked up stephans brain so that’s why he’s like this
Yeah, but he's been out of The Misfits for a while now. Most of what I hear about the guys who are still in the band makes them seem pretty normal. Like, Doyle and Jerry are the main ones in control of things, and when they're not touring they try to be inconspicuous.
The "is it Music or a refrigerator?" tour with Merzbow, Hanatarash, Swans and Godspeed you ! Black Emperor The "Why does he sound like that?" Tour with Behlehem, Anaal Nathrakh and Infant Annahilator The "i hate this Town and love Pizza" Tour with Blink 182, Sum 41 and Green Day
Get Scared would have been a good addition to the 100 yards of school tour. their lead singer left the band for an allbum, and the replacement lead was in possession of a lot of things that people should not possess
Honestly if Burzum played live for the first time in his whole 30+ year career and it was opening for slaughter to prevail, falling in reverse and kid rock that is the greatest pr stunt of all time
With Kanye wearing Burzum shirts in protest it probably isn't too long before Varg goes from a running joke with some good albums, to somebody a couple of chucklefucks we know unironically defend.
@@ArchibaldClumpy Defend for what he committed murder and served his time, something tells me you're more annoyed about him being racist than a murderer which tells a lot about your defunct moral compass.
One of my favorite tour gimics I've seen in years was the Babyklok tour. So good to have Babymetal and Dethklok simultaneously super fun and a nice hit of Adult Swim nostalgia
I can only assume King Crimson wasn't included on the cease and desist tour because Robert Fripp would have punched you into the sun if you'd included any imagery of the group.
As someone who was a fan of falling in reverse at 13 and is now very much embarrassed about that, i really appreciate you being so consistent in hating on them
He replied to my brother (a random guy with no following) a week or so ago because he said he didn’t like him. Dude will give literally ANYONE the time of day
The thing is: this video is comedic. Comedy is subjective. Sure you made fun of some bands that I like, but it wasn't straight up telling me that my choice in music is wrong and that I'm an idiot for listening to the music I listen to.
For the alt-right propaganda tour, I'd definitely put Aaron Lewis from Staind on there for select dates. He has an incredibly cringe song called "Am I The Only One" and it's exactly what you think it's about. 💀I also wouldn't put it past Kid Rock to do a whole tour with Tom MacDonald. Not trying to manifest that one but I could see it happening lol
Aaron lewis is definitely cringe, but calling him alt right is crazy. Dude is nothing more than a normie 80’s tier republican who has a hard on for a country that no longer exists. Dude is annoying but not even close to alt right at all.
I'd never heard of Kim Dracula, but because of the algorithm, I was tragically suggested the lineup for the Gathering of the Juggalos, and guess who's in there? Kim Dracula.
How Megadeth avoided the Pipeline tour i have no idea, we all remember United Abominations and Dave with his born again Christian stuff like 15 years ago
I came here all excited for a list of real disaster tours, like the Metallica/GNR tour where James got set on fire and Axel caused a venue-destroying riot.
Finally clicked on your video after seeing it in my recommended many times and I really wish I would’ve done it sooner. Your content is very refreshing!
Also, Mastodon should join Gojira on the “sellout” tour. They had a pretty similar progression where they started heavy in their first album being straight up sludge metal, to the prog that was gradually increased since Leviathan.
same as a german it hurts a bit but it’s great when people pronounce correctly (peter steele in one interview did). but i really don’t like rammstein especially bc they had a controversy surrounding female fans
I don't think Ghost deserves to catch that stray but Falling In Reverse is absolutely a joke band at this point. They're in the same category as like Crotchduster or Strapping Young lad for me.
There are ghost fans in the drag community myself included. Also the cosplay community loves ghost which is awesome. So really ghost should be on the nerdy theater kid metalcore tour not sure who else would be on that tour line up?
The highly eclectic "We Don't Talk About That One Guy" Tour: Headlined by John Mellencamp and the Dave Matthews Band, with supporting slots by Cult Leader, No Devotion, New Found Glory and Static-X.
@@naomi9354 To be fair, I was going for acts which wound up kicking out a certain kind of awful person and continuing either under their original name or as a new group with an otherwise identical membership rather than breaking up entirely, but we can make an exception for Neurosis based on just how ugly that was and the possibility that the rest of the band go on to do other things in the same way that Cult Leader did after they stopped being Gaza.
Alice Cooper and Dee Snyder being transphobic is so hilariously ironic considering they made just about every cent they have by literally crossdressing on stage while using a womans name
Bold of you to assume an actual Kim Dracula fan would actually leave their house to attend a concert. I think 99% of them are terminally online Tik Tok addicts
As someone who knows next to nothing about music controversy this was the funniest shit id ever seen, you know the videos bangin when you gotta keep a separate chrome tab open to type in "bandname controversy" at every joke
Could make a black metal variant of the apology tour where the band responds to nazi collaboration by posting like they're Sephiroth in response, yknow the "urrh we make dark music and are apolotical, we don't care for your earthly values", it'd be a pretty big list
Proscriptor from Absu literally can't avoid talking like that even in his emails to bandmates. The Sephiroth comparison is so perfect. Can't believe I've never heard it before. That way of talking in non-apology statements is so ubiquitous it would almost be harder to rule somebody out than to rule them in. So many ways of revealing that they take the trappings of their genre way too seriously, talking so much about no expression or behavior being too out there while still somehow magically stepping around any behavior or expression which might turn off far-right chodes or tedious edgelords.
@@paganofthenorth448I mean I enjoy some NS bands but just being racist or a nazi by itself isn't really a rejection of modernity. You're just being a dick to a group of people because of your own cowardice/stupidity/weakness. (referring to racists not you) That being said, black metal is definitely not for normal people and is anti-censorship. People who want NS bands to be censored probably shouldn't listen to black metal
Ikr? Welcome to Horrorwood got stuck in my head for over two weeks idk what was about it that just clicked with me but man it's amazing album. I don't care for like half of their old stuff and I like 80% of Silver Scream. It's not cringe corny, it's self aware and it works, especially considering topic of the songs.
