Imagine if they added fake debuffs, they get applied to enemies that cannot be debuffed but at least they activate the passives of characters like Trunks. They could make the icon greyed out when the debuff does nothing.
They should just make it so that big bosses can still have their DEF lowered, it doesn't really do anything but it would be useful to activate these passives so it would make 2 traditionally useless abilities actually useful.

IMO Majin Vegeta shouldn't be here, his Active Skill has always been useful for proccing certain HP conditions. You could just heal up the same amount of HP with same type orbs as well with a unit like Vegeta and Trunks on the team
It’s a greedy ability, and playing around with your own HP is a strategy that only really works in weak events - and in those weaker events you don’t need to be trying to proc certain stuff lol
Actually Majin vegeta active is really usefull to activate some passive of other characters. And trunks can launch like 5 Attack in a turn and even 6 if he has ability, so for this part disagree with you, but when is transformed you are right
Honesty HV Goku wasn't even bad for the time though. It was definitely before we actually got Red Zone so yeah he quickly fizzled out but he took zero damage those first few months.
majin vegeta one isn't that bad, if for exemple you want to use the dbz duo standby skill or maybe to transform into vegetto you need -70% hp and vegetto when fusing will regain hp
crazy how he has dead agl yamcha on here and doesnt mention dead teq yamcha, he does the exact same thing but with defense. so unlike ssj3 broly, you dont have to collect orbs to get that 0 defense🗿☠️🚁
The fact that 0 def SSJ3 Broly tanked that super better than my near fully EZA'd year 5 fusions could ever hope to says a lot about how little knowledge I have when it comes to the intricacies of Dokkan.
The reason why Yamcha at 0 atk can still do damage is kind of the same reason why you can still do damage to Bee Pan, despite her having a 100% damage reduction. It's how the game calculate damage

I'm surprised there isn't the LR TEQ SS3 Goku in this list, as the -70% Deff then performing an Ultra is really stupid... Although I agree with everything, I think that Majin Vegeta is not worth being on this list, since the life reduction refers to the sacrifice he made in the Anime, the DMG he does makes this cost worth it, + how can he offers owes for some Activate Skills such as for transforming STR Vegito Also Buu may have some issues but I still love this Unit
Well I think it's good to contextualize the time when most of these characters released; Ssj3 Broly came out when def meant almost nothing, he's the same as Ssjbkk now days he was meant to be a glass cannon and they left him thst way even after his eza (that hurt him, ofc). Black Goku was meant to be a lge destroyer and they were and still are not very keen on giving greatly def stack + defense on passive. Yamcha is an april fool so it's ok. Majeta sometimes can actually be helpful but I want to remember that he fuckin died after that attack so like a little bit of back fire is the bare minimum lmao (same thing with HIV (lol) Goku). Janemba is ass. They never liked Trunks and Goten cards so yeah.. Golden frieza was released when (if I'm not wrong) db super was still airing and they kinda took the part where it seemed like he was using the other U7 reps for his purposes and I think they wanted to represent that with the atk debuff.
And this is why gimmicks can be both fun and retarded at the same time. Modern Dokkan is all about guard and defense stacking. No room for glass cannons or fucking cards that debuff their own teams.

Youre kinda ignoring the fact buuhan gets BBB, which alone makes his stacked defense way better, and it helps activate BBB for other units in the team. That alone makes the active worth
Yeah, they have pop their active skill to earn guaranteed dodge for the turn. They earn like 7% extra dodge for every attack dodged (for a max of 35%), which means if you had a bad turn and dodged 2 attacks, you are stuck with 14% dodge until you dodge again. Oh yeah and if you put then in slot 2 or 3 during this turn and the enemy gets killed before they can dodge, they literally have no way to unlock that passive. At least AGL Trunks has a chance to unlock it. Those 2 have 0% chance unless you artificially jack the unit up with dodge, but even then the passive is gonna take a year to unlock due to dodge from hidden potential being so rare.

Oi, dont do my boy buuhan dirty here. I still use him in hard events and he stil is somewhat decent. The transformation actually gives alot more attack and defense too compared to base form. turn 7 i usually see him with 600k+ def and around 7-8mil attack. His links gives him that much of a power up.

1st of all HIV goku make me laught so badly my chest still hurts 2nd even EZA INT black still trash but more usefull. With 150% def after transformation and stackable def per SA, would take some time but at least he can (barely) resist some SA 3rd INT Majin Vegeta's active is more usefull if you add him in a team that trigggers their active/passive skills if you have certain ammount of HP. A good example is PHY transforming SSJ2 goku.
@@Eeethefirst well true, but his active also triggers after the 7th turn (if i'm not wrong) whitout losing HP. PHY SSJ2 goku, on the other hand, can't trigger his active unless he lost certain ammount of HP. It may change some of the link skills they have between those 2, but it gains more chances in both SA and crits.
Ehhh, I'd disagree that Janemba is strictly worse; it's not like he's AGL Trunks. He's just a dodge unit, which are always risky. Can't count the number of times AGL UI Goku refused to dodge a super for me lmao

Tbf, only one i'd disagree with is Majin Vegeta's one, if you pop it first thing in the turn and then try to heal it off with type ki orbs, nowadays' units can heal quite a huge amount of it back with ease
Don't know about Majin Vegetas one. It deals a good amount of damage and can help to transform certain characters if needed. Sure, losing 18% of the max HP can hurt but it's not too bad if we are honest and can help as explained in certain teams. Edit: And it also helps his passive lol
