Usually it’s like college students with high tuition or some sibling working for their other family member’s debts that I respect even if they’re living in the basement.
Plus in some places around the world, like in my country, mostly in the rural aerias to have three generations live under the same roof. I have cousins in their 20s who live with their parents and grandparents in the same house.
My mom who is in her 40s lives with my grandparents but she is way more successful than every other adult who lives with their parents, she has a high paying job and helps with my gandparents when they have financial troubles
People called me neard/teacher's pet cuz i am almost always top student in classs and being a cuber(yes,i am a speedcuber). But i don't even do anything to them,i even helped one of my classmate during the last year's exam and i don't snitch people. And they call me mama's boy(not mamaboy from social media) cuz i don't drink alcohol or vape. And they always bully me when i study at school or cube at school.😢

I used to be one too. The reason? My parents taught me from early childhood that I should shower once a week. Generally they never told me anything about hygiene, and it's only recently that I started finding things out after getting a bit curious. Now I shower twice every day (lightly at morning and fully at evening), started cleaning my ears every day, brushing teeth twice a day, and looking into skincare and getting my teeth to not be yellowish anymore. Having better hygiene simply feels good, to the point I can't go a day without a shower anymore, no idea how I lived before
Villain arc here. Was/am nerd, never went to parties in highschool, and started my first company in middle school. After graduation, I enlisted in the marine corps. Somehow I made it through and made into special operations (real life call of duty). Now im out and now im getting my physics phd. Gonna use my money to start my own laboratory and do some R&D, sell my inventions, and take over the world!

I've been called a nerd across my life, but usually not in a negative connotation. I of course kept up good grades, since academia is one of my passions in life (like science and history for example), but I of course spent time with people in and out of school, went outside for fun trips or what have you. But I always made sure that I helped people with any academic issue if possible, not just helping with homework, but with concepts they don't quite understand, so I'd at least try to guide them to getting it better and helping them on how to learn it. I hope it's works and I hope to continue to do so, since I value learning. Sure I love gaming and anime and comics and stuff, but I think having a good sense of understanding the world is just as or more important than "HA HA HA IM SMARTER THAN YOU" (I think those who do this are ironic egoists). I think I may have been D-dos'd today. I finished in first on an Asphalt Legends Unite multiplayer race and then instantly got a message that said "your account has been signed into on another device" and I couldnt play the game for several hours

I've always been somewhat of a perfectionist nerd. I struggled with self esteem as a kid and I felt like I had to get 100% in everything. I'm starting to realise that 100% in everything all the time is impossible.
I've also always been the kind of nerd that ALWAYS helped someone with school even if I hated them. I lent pens, gave answers, and even gave money. Nobody cares though, nobody ever thanked me, repayed a favour, or even smiled.

I got bullied/ made fun of buy a group of nerds in 6th grade for not watching “real” anime and I was just trying to make friends.…. I watched Naruto, bleach, and dragon ball and got made fun by guys who read manga of HxH and Inyusha lmao. Honestly best decision I made was not trying to hangout with them after cause I eventually became friends with the cool type of kids and we alll made fun of them for being assholes and weird tbh lol. Like so many of them would just have such giant egos and always try to down talk you or think they’re better than you. I was the band kid meme kid and was surrounded by others like them. We had our own inside jokes and community. We had our fun but we all had to grow out of it because it doesn’t work anywhere else. I was also part of the crowd of gamer nerds but I looked like a Harvard student compared to everyone else or something like that because I was the most attractive person in the group out of everyone. I felt like I couldn’t fit in any other clique besides the gamers because I felt like I didn’t qualify for anything else besides that
