I don’t like players like that. It seems like they are just a hater, but I have accidentally splatted one player multiple times and I feel bad about it. The difference though is I’m not trying, they just kept squid jumping in the worst places

That one about the teammate who's really good on the other team but really awful on your team is super relatable 💀 Unrelated but WOW watching you play Sploosh was extremely entertaining, I've never seen anyone play Sploosh like that before (I mean this in a very positive way)
when me and my boyfriend lost to a team with these two people wearing fresh fish heads (they were probably both in the same lobby the way me and my boyfriend were) and then we got paired with both of them on the same team for the next like 3 or 4 matches in a row and they played really badly every time they were on a team with us so we had to hard carry even though my boyfriend is still very new to the game and was using a splattershot jr and i was coming back to the game after not playing for almost a year and didn't even remember how to super jump but we still played better than they did so i'm like 90% sure they were throwing on purpose
Man, I feel you so much on the one with the ennemies who play like shit when they're with you, and it's even worse when you get put into the team that just annihilated you thinking "Oh I'm with them, should go better than last time" only to see them do complete crap lmao
You forgot the Thrower Those guys that play ranked, and act normal until they die 3 times in a row without getting any kills, or start getting steamrolled. From here one of two things can happen, either they rage quit DC or give up, stay still in spawn and spam booyah.
I once had a player like that on my team, only I don't think they actually got into the battle even once. They just hung out in the corner at home base, spamming "booyahs" and "this way's" over and over. Like, mate, just DC already. You're gonna lose points anyway, why put that burden on the rest of the team too?
when I was grinding for top 500 last season in X rank I had this opponent that would constantly show up in my matches. Majority of the time when I went against him his team would always beat ours. Then the game finally put that dude on my team and then he wants to start messing around and won't DC from the match and costed me a game. I got so mad I blocked him
I mostly get the weave-nation players because most of the time, I mostly try and splat them, but somehow, they manage to get me dropped worse than Wile vs. Acme.
As someone who has a LOT of gear with one main ability throughout (I think they’re called pures) and I mean, a LOT, I’m surprised I haven’t been called out

One type that is on my own personal list of "worst types of Splatoon players" are what I call "The Coddlers". The people who crawl out of the depths of Twitter to come to the surface and tell you that you're not allowed to use certain abilities, weapons, and overall do *literally* anything around the holidays because "NeW pLaYeRs ArE cOmInG iN" and we are terrible people for playing the game normally around baby splooners. Like bitch, idgaf about little Timmy shedding tears because I killed his ass 10 times while hitting the sickest T-Tek gritty of my life, I'm gunna play the game however I like and he's gunna learn the hard way like everyone else Justin Wong style. Don't tell me or others how to play our game, and if you can't handle normal gameplay then learn how to like everyone else or this ain't the game for you.
I like to use inkbrush to specifically hunt crackheads who rush in our spawn, and then spam mines so they dont rush in our entire map, inkbrush nouveau is my favorite frontline.
One that REALLY triggers me are the ones that literally start dying every 5 seconds as soon as the enemy team moves past mid and get the lead. I get that battle momentum is a thing but when it happens every single freaking time, there's really not much you can do except accept your team loss because that one guy is constantly feeding.
The Splatoon players at 6:00 is so true. Bruh there was a newbie on the other team, tell me why bro had that most points and had like 10 kills dying like 3 times. He was a D1 crashout that whole round. Next round bro is on my team, mf forgot how to play the damn game 💀😭

I find it funny tentatek splattershot and octo shot replica are the same thing. I thought 8 would take inspiration from the inner agent 3 fight and have the weapons special be triple splashdown

Competitive players can still play casually when they feel like it and they can still find the fun in the maps and weapons that are objectively trash.
I get salty when people kill me and squidbag me, but I move on and laugh about it after!!! I think Splatoon is fun BECAUSE it can often be difficult. I also use lots of run speed and sploosh religiously and people shit on me for it, I'm just playing to have FUN. Let me smack people with my stamper and run around like an idiot, thanks!
I heavily agree when a tough opponent is heavily good then when he joins my team, he is just awful then round three he just plays his butt and destroys me again in rank. I have take five after that.
Complainers, validators, tweakers, softies, overanalyzers, weave nation figures, tryhards, main characters, weak teamates but crackhead enemies, and quirktastics. Everytime I get into the anarchy championship in ranked more I always. ALWAYS GET TRYHARDS.
Honestly, I'd say I'm the "protaganist" type, but really, I called myself the "Luck Charm" most of the time. Cuz whenever I used the weapons that I'm good at in certain patterns, me and the team I'm in are gonna win, but not all the time tho. Sometimes it doesn't work and we lose, so if you're with me, I'm either gonna be your "good" luck charm or "bad" luck charm (or do I just need to get better?)

The problem is that people set their expectations way too high, and thus see the game for what it isn't rather than what it is. They act like it's worse than Sonic '06
@@Hestoomi You got me there, but then again i cant even blame people for complaining or wishing there was something better. asides from people who honest to god do not care and just want to play the funny squid game taking a look into splatoon 3 as a whole nintendo has been lacking a bit in areas that desperately need attention. The game is fun and fully serviceable there's no argument there, but its not the most friendly nor inviting asides from the "haha i get to paint funny colors yay" mentality. For example its hard to get people to get into it and play for more than a day or week if lucky due to a handful of errors. Such as locking you in turf war till you reach level 10, which wouldn't be too bad if there were more than 2 maps to choose from at a time and there was another casual mode for the main game multiplayer, and even afterwords learning you cant choose the mode nor maps is a huge turn off, which has driven multiple people ive tried to get into splatoon away and I'm sure many others. That and of course the maps which I don't think i need to explain how that could be a turn off in if itself. I wont drown you in a literal mile of text, but TLDR splatoon 3 while is fun is not all it was hyped up to be, and considering we're at the end of its update cycle, its depressing.

After my deplorable run in Splatoon 2 competitive while that game lived, I haven't even TOUCHED Splatoon 3 ranked. I never got out of C-. EVER. I became such a bloody tryhard it hurt, followed guide after guide after guide, never managed more then like a win a day over a 5 hour session. I had 6,000 HOURS in Splatoon 2. So, when 3 dropped, I decided to stick purely to Salmon Run and Turf War. And of course, still have never broken out of Profreshional in Salmon Run, I have NO trophies for big run that aresn't participation, and I've been on the losing team for every Splatfest EXCEPT white chocolate. Splat 3 hours, 2,000. I guess I just bloody suck at the funny squid shooter. At this point, I've accepted being the bottom feeder. I'll stick with the fun stuff, not the competitives (except big runs I LOVE those). I can use the weapons I want to use to have fun. So I'm a Bloblob main now. Still hot garbage, but I have fun now.
Those guys who play like their lives depend on it when they're fighting you and then perform like they've never used a controller before on your team appear a lot. I don't tend to care about them too much. But those guys who unfailingly dodge everything and the ones who just always pick fights are SO annoying.
