ok maybe it isnt bad but i feel so bad about myself when i use it. like when i hit a direct pipe and get that solid 100 damage, that feels good yk, and then im like shooting them with the smg, missing half my shots, doing like 50 damage and then i die, so yeah it really is a skill issue but i think single shot weapons just feel better to use yk, also thanks for the feedback :DDDDDDDDD
I think you're way too critical on the overdose, it actually has a use as a way to increase your speed to preserve your uber, while there is literally no reason to ever use the stock syringe gun. Also the enforcer is barely worse than stock, and most people have to stagger shots on the revolver anyway to be more accurate making its downside often irrelevant. I understand that the Scottish resistance doesn't fit your playstyle, but in defensive situations it is a massive upgrade over stock that can shut down matches. I think you should do a better job of showing a weapon's upsides even if it's the worst choice, because your descriptions of these weapons are very divisive
Very well put together video, and while you explained your picks well, but I did have some critiques with some of your choices. Huo-Long Heater: Fine entry by itself (Very happy you didn't start calling it useless like a lot of people would) I think this spot should've gone to the Natascha. You lose quite a bit of damage which can really suck, especially on defense, and makes winning heavy duels very difficult. BFB: No disagreements from me Scottish Resistance: While I would probably agree this is Demo's worst weapon, I think you're really underselling how amazing it is on defense. This is the best demo weapon for shutting down pushes, and if you're smart with your placements I would rather run this then stock. But yeah on attack, this weapon can be tricky to use due to the arm time. I would've placed this at the top of the list over the HLH. Manmelter: Again no disagreements here. Definitely not a bad weapon as you said but it's too reliant on the enemy team to get it's benefits, which I'm not a fan of. Cleaner's Carbine: Yeah I love this weapon but it definitely sucks, although I wouldn't call the SMG bad either, that thing can put in some work, it's just jarate + melee usually is better Enforcer: Again, while I wouldn't disagree necessarily that it's Spy's worse revolver, It's being underselled hard here. The damage bonus on the gun allows for 2 shotting light (sniper) classes, very helpful, and the damage pierce is a situationally great stat against what you mentioned, including fists of steel Heavies which weren't mentioned. Very useful weapon against the vaccinator especially, I've turned around many fights due to being able to ignore the uber. While these situations aren't super common immediately , the downsides on the weapon also really aren't a big deal either, so it all evens out. slightly worse then stock in most cases, and a decent bit better in some. Overdose: funnily enough, I actually think this is the best Syringe gun due to having actual utility, unlike the other two. The damage penalty is really a non issue (it's one less damage) and the speed up definitely can come into play at times. It's a shitty weapon for sure due to the issues with the needle guns you mentioned, but at least you don't have to fire it to get usage. Stock should've been the pick here 100% Pompson 6000 and Bison: Yeah fuck these weapons. Very painful to use when not mindlessly spamming down chokepoints. Overall though good video, you earned a sub from me. Excited to see what else you do in the future :)
thanks for the feedback i appreciate it heavily 🙏 1 thing i highkey forgot to mention is that i wasn't really looking at stock weapons, if i had then i probably wouldve figured that the stock syringe gun is worse tho, but yeah definetely some weird choices looking back on some parts
Worst weapons for every class in my opinion: Scout: Back Scatter, This weapon is just a worse Stock Scattergun. For me, at least BFB works well with the Flying Guillotine and Wrap Assassin and BFB doesn’t have a damage penalty. Soldier: Righteous Bison. (Do I need to say anything?) Pyro: Desgreaser (The worst Flame Thrower in terms of Damage) Demoman: Scottish Resistance, I like this weapon, but it's against really good primaries and secondaries and the Caber isn’t in the question. Heavy: Natascha, It's just Stock Mini-Gun but bad. Engineer: Pomson, (Need I say anything?) Medic: Overdose (Need I say anything?) Sniper: Sydney Sleeper. (Yes I actually think this is worse than the Classic considering you can hold your charge while not zoomed in and you can still headshot with the Classic, Albeit only when fully charged. Meaning the Razorback should be removed from the game because all it does is tell people that Spy has a gun.) Spy: Diamondback (It's only on here because adding it to the game was a mistake.)
I find it funny that you didn't mention the sun on a stick Edit: forgot the "no melee" thing. But I still feel like the backscatter and the gas passer should've been contenders.
Nah, the Sandman is by far the worst weapon of the Scout, and i'd say even the whole game, because it makes Scout die from a single rocket and a single sticky-bomb. And the trade-off for that? A low damage ball that makes targets slow who can circumvent it by strafing left and right repeatedly. At least with the Baby Face's Blaster once you get full boost, you can drink Bonk to bypass a lot of stuff easily without being slow downed.
@@Leeloo-Foxx Nah, its projectile is trash, sure, but if skilled enough you can hit those shots against running spy to ruin their dead ringer, especially if you hit them before they activate it (preventing them from activating the cloak). And pocket medics are very easy to hit with too for sticking to their pocket so steadily. Its still a bad weapon but it has SOME uses, its not a straight downgrade like the Sandman is.
Huo-Long Heater? Nah. Watch Zesty's video about it. BFB IS THE WORST SCOUT'S WEAPON?! NO!!! I USE IT EVERY TIME I PLAY SCOUT. I just like it!!!!!!!!!!! Scottish Resistance is fucking good on defense, you just need to be more than 50iq to use it properly. Cleaner's carbine is not that bad, you can give yourself mini-crits any fucking time and use the Bushwhacka. Overdose is good.
