Here’s a video idea: Wrestlers who had it bad in WWE, but had it even worse _outside_ WWE.

I totally forgot about Cain Velasquez. He only had 1 match against Brock Lesnar and then he disappeared to never be seen again.

If Kofi Kingston and Brock had a solid match then i'd have no reason to hate it because you already know when Brock shows up in the title picture there's 98% chance of him winning. Kofi getting squashed in 7 seconds in was ridiculous

Eva Marie Was The One Of The Worst

I never understood why WWE brought Eva Marie back years ago. She said she improved in the ring? Nia Jax's return looked like Ricky Steamboat compared to Eva's comeback.

I went to SmackDown when they came to Atlanta in January. Gable Steveson was in a dark match before the show against Cameron Grimes and it was so quiet I heard rats pissing on cotton 😂😂😂

I get that Cain Velasquez has a legit background but one look at him is all it takes to realize he had no business in WWE. No physique, no promo skills. It may have been a Hogan/Warrior in WCW situation where they only brought Cain in so Lesnar can get his win back.

Squashing Kofi Kingston, just to create a feud between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez was such a Vince McMahon move. Thank God, Triple H took over

Sin Cara , was touted to be the next Rey Mysterio but never measured due to constantly botching his moves because of not learning the WWE style and his refusal to learn English

That Bayley vs Eva Match was great.

Eva Marie was entertaining in that run where she was never wrestling. IMO she could have become a pretty good vallet or manager - maybe for something like maximum male models or so. Just keep her away from the ring and she would be a good signing.

Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn played off their UFC stuff as well back in the attitude era

The good brothers (gallows and anderson) 2nd run in WWE has to be one of the worst of all time… freaking guys have wrestled on tv maybe like 4 times since they returned and have maybe won their debut match and that’s it since then.. they are AJ’s backstage promo background characters

This just makes you realize how much better Kurt angle was as a performer , literally had the magic touch and poor gable Stevenson just wasn’t talented enough or good enough in every quality like Kurt was in his day and it shows why he hasn’t even been seen in forever now 😂 😊

To be fair, Eva Marie v Bayley in NXT was a great story, had she not come back in 2021 we could put her down as "not great but seen worse"

To put Gable Steveson being booed in perspective: Corbin wasn't just a heel; he was a heel notorious for having so called "go away heat". As in, he made TV worse by being featured. And he got *cheered* that night. Imagine being in a match in 2000 and being so hated as a babyface that the crowd starts chanting "we want X-Pac".

I feel for Eva Marie. Firstly it hurt her because of the reality show they put her on the main roster before she was ready. They finally did get her to NXT to improve but moved her back up again before she had time to improve. She could have used massive heel heat to become a good character but they never used that.

I know that this is given more recent examples but if you are talking about worst WWE signings of all of time, you have to include's Nailz' name in there. Not only was he a horrible wrestler who had terrible matches, he also got fired from entering into Vince's office to legitimately strangle him because of a payout disagreement. He would go on to tesify against McMahon in the steroid trial and would end up blowing the entire thing over when he claimed that he "hated McMahon's guts" which destroyed any legitimacy that his claims had. What an idiot.

Stevenson's past sucks, but from a build perspective he's way closer to a Brock Lesnar(coincidentally they both won a NCAA title at the same school) versus a Kurt Angle who's much shorter(even if they both have gold medals).

WWE is always trying to find the next Kurt Angle or Rey Mysterio 🙄🤦‍♀️

I get why Gable Stevenson is on here, but in a lot of ways I don't think it's his fault. It's not his fault that they instantly gave him the Kurt Angle comparisons, made him Raw draft pick right away, and then threw him in that botched match with Baron Corbin without proper extended training and prep work in NXT. They overhyped and inflated the expectation of his output similar to how they did so when Mark Henry and Kurt Angle started, the only difference is that they also didn't give Stevenson proper time to develop and find his pro wrestling footing, and instead made a rush job of it when he was able to make appearances. It's like Kurt Angle without him being able to find himself as a proper heel and grow his talent immensely through that, or Mark Henry if he was only embarrassed as Sexual Chocolate and never received a shot at opening his Hall of Pain or cutting the best false retirement promo ever in that salmon suit. Maybe Stevenson will get more of a shot at finding himself later down the road and prove us wrong too.

My idea you should do the worst fumbles I'm aew

Tbh, I kinda think Eva was one of the biggest fumbles WWE did. They could've utilized her differently and she could've still been a big star. Triple H was making her a star in NXT and Vince only used her to make her look like a jobber like Matt Cardona in the main roster. I would've pushed Eva to be more of a tactician wrestler like Shayna, but still utilize Sliced Bread #2 and maybe add Spear or Ushiguroshi to the arsenal, since Eva's height is kinda well suited for both moves. Eva took the training seriously, but Vince was the reason she had a negative impression.

Eve Marie might just be one of the top most beautiful women in WWE history. Thats her only accomplishment lol. I completely forgot Cain Velaszquez appeared on WWE like everyone else seems to have.
