This is the most annoying disappointing book I've come across for years. The plot is weak at best, clichéd, repetitive and also inconsistent in so many places. For example there is a reference to 'wedding day' photos in the video shown at Kieran's birthday party., despite the fact they were supposed to be only boyfriend and girlfriend. Where was the proof reader? Insulting to his readers. The main character, according to the author, by her nature, hates men and is proud of having murdered one. Rather than filling up chapter after chapter with inane examples of one woman's vendetta against any man who strays, he could have at least once explained her reasons for her anger. It might actually have imbued it with a modicum of interest. The visit to the mistresses house was so childish. In real life, that would have been considered quite a pathetic and harmless gesture. It reads to me like the book was written by a teenage boy.
