Let's face it anytime someone from The Philippines hits the stage you know it's going to be good, I mean pretty much everyone in that country can sing from birth, it's ingrained into their DNA I think.
Im a Filipino, but all I can do is Barking.. 😂, but actually your right, almost 80-95% of Filipinos can sing very well :) if you walk into our streets here, and ask each person you might see, you'll probably hear 8-9 out of 10 sing very well. Anyway thanks for recognizing Filipinos :)
If you don't appreciate the skill here, you don't know about singing. She is the MOST impressive, incredible singer I've ever had the pleasure to experience. Incredible. Just, wow.
That can never be, because the Philippine government is still the one of the greediest and stupidest government in the world. (Please, I'm not being "pro" and "anti" or something, it is a sad thing for a politicized country).
@@chriselviernes8203 omg. I hope your comment doesn't get noticed by other Filipinos or you are in for one hell of a trashtalk lol. Perhaps you are not in the Philippines thus the ignorance. Anyway, I'm not in the mood right now. Didn't come here for this.
This is just my opinion:) Just come to think of it, the Philippines is very lucky to have brilliant and talented people in its land but try to look at its manipulators (Government, Private companies, etc.), it is a sad thing for the brilliance and talents of the Filipinos then these manipulators?, they're just wasted them all. Yes, they are so lucky to occupy their positions so easily with their closed backups but they have no good intelligence and no better experience to handle it, they are just good on appearing themselves on the cameras and so on.
genteargerky 888 coz he got 2 filpinas working for him at home and their names are Brenda and Tessie. He mentioned that during one of 4th impact's performances so he's well acquainted with Filipinos.
Passed to an audition was already a fullfilling. Audition, 6 chairs, semi or finals doesnt matter the important is you already part of the show xfactor u.k 2018. You Just enjoy all the moments while you are part of it.congratulations! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
@@MarkAnthonyFlorese aba eh bobo ka palang bakla ka. Paano ako manonood kay pomoy? Eh pinagdikdikan saken ng RU-vid tong video na to. Aba eh totoo namang mas magaling c marcelito. Problema mo? Pwe! Wala syang panama kay pomoy! Crab mentality mo yang mukha mo gago
A lot of comments comparing her to Pomoy. I agree that M.P. is much more polished with his voice but I have to give credit for Sephy for doing something with her talent and admire her perseverance to be on world stage. She can improve guys, can we just support her?
Thats what the congratulations are for. For having the guts to join the show. But we also must accept the truth that amongst 2 people doing the same act, even singing the same song, you cannot take away the comparison. Much more she sang the song poorly. I wanted someone to represent the philippines by doing doble kara because thats where we are good at. But upon hearing what she had to offer im disappointed. She is a poor representation of the doble kara talent. Its not just the audio as many if them mentioned. It was her. She was that bad.
Well Annie it's not up to us who will represent our country and no one is taking your rights to your opinion. What we are saying is we should be more objective in giving our opinions because you have to remember that it is also our responsibility and it shows much more of your character more than the person you are talking about.
You dont need to compare them they have their differences, and btw they are both Filipino and I'm so proud, we are so proud as a Filipino for them, no hate just love😁❤
The Filipino females have often been good, but the rabid Filipino fans often piss off voters. 4th Impact is one of my favorite X-Factor acts ever and they probably should have won a few years ago but they got booted earlier than expected. My friends/coworkers didn't vote for them because of the behavior of many Filipino fans on social media and I'm guessing that many other voters felt the same way. Anyway I'm hoping that the Filipino fans get some chill this year and not make things more difficult for the acts.
The thing about marcelito pomoy, is the element of surprise. When he belts out that first note, being a man sounding like a real female singing is unexpected and surprising, you begin to question if your ears and eyes are playing a trick on you . Then when you begin to grasp that he's really the one singing that insanely high notes, then comes his baritone, thats when your mind explodes.. i know that very well because thats what happened to me when i first heard him sing, Sephy doesn't have that effect cuz the moment she comes out you already expect her to sound feminine, she has a good female voice but to be able to execute a good doble kara you should be able to do both voices nicely, and her low notes are not that polished, even her high notes are shaky.
True..i think only kat since mori and jona have labels already...they signed a recording contract already..i dont know and im not sure cuz it is like that on american idol.
@@gregoryhenriquez5755 yep. According to an article I read. Simon will be shaking things up this season. There's no close door auditions happening either.
I don't know how to feel about that, I'm not a fan of Simon's changes, last season he eliminated the battles between the bottom two, and instead put the vote thing, I didn't like that.
She join first in I can see your voice Philippines then after that she represent the Philippines in I Can See Your Voice Korea, so my answer to your question is YES hahahah sorry I explain even you didn't ask. 😅.
Hes been in ICSYV Philippines then went to ICSYV Korea and seeing him in XFactor UK. Youre making us proud. Will pray for youre success and win the Xfactor. Goodluck , may godbless you 💕
Simon commented "Till the last fall." So he means, he wants latest songs. The current ones. The reason why Filipinos cannot go further in international competitions is because their choice of songs are outdated.
I disagree. We Fil`s also love new songs but for a contest song, we prefer classic old songs cause it`ll show our skills more. We usually choose those with high notes. For us, the higher you reach the better.
im so happy for u zephy,, im so excited to watch tjis deson coz of u,, u made me subscribr tjis channel.. lobe ka namin dito sa pinas.. GOODLUCK girl.. love u idol
She was on a Korean show now in UK. Also this is actually Normal in PH there are singers out here who can do this it's called doble kara. I must say though she is good.
agree. her voice was sort of in a better condition when she joined there. she struggled a bit here but still a good performance because she shocked the judges. little do they know that this is so common in the Philippines.😁😁😁
@Swiit Limethe thing is that transgender singers are very rare where I'm from, but I'm guessing it's a common occurrence in your country (Philippines?) so you're used to it. I'm curious to see how far she goes in the competition, although I think the male/female voice switching will get old fast.
Before Marcelito Pomoy there were other singer comedians in the Philippines who did it before and they were so good but unfortunately social media/internet was not very popular at that time. Very few has a celfone let alone an internet. they performed mostly in the comedy bars.So Marcelito was the only who really got famous in the Philippines doing that act, due to social media. That's why we filipinos are not surprised anymore when it comes to singers, dancers etc.
It's not sad. It's just average if we compare it to other Filipinos who we know. There are other great Filipino singers out there that has more powerful voices.
Wow! I have never heard that kind voice ever b/4 in my life,The Lord has bless u greatly and I hope The Lord will continue to bless u,since u are one of the believers?
She has a beautiful voice, and her italian is really good. I listeded to a lot of english italian accent, and hers was really good. Well done I think i did some mistakes with my english, if i did, i'm sorry
Filipinos comparing her to Marcelito that shes no better. I'm not surprised. I'm so sorry for intl viewers. This is so normal in Philippines. We bring our co-filipino down.
Exactly oscar the musical arrangement was terrible instead of boosting their countrymen filipinos have this negative attitude bringing their countrymen down
Yeah this performance is not the best and he got yeses coz the judges are shookt but I'm pinoy and I know too he can do better than that maybe hes just nervous
I was hoping that she would be given a chance to showcase more of her talent. That's too bad but at least she showed the world what talent she has. Wherever she may go next, goodluck to her.
knuclear200xWatch her sing on I can see your voice korea, she had to skip the other parts for timing and for it to fit but your blind ass wouldn't see that won't it now just appreciate it you dont even have the balls to do what she did
filipinos requesting katrina vilarde, morisitte amon, marcilito etc.. to enter this contest.. WEW! why would they bring down their self down to that stage... when they are famous singers like sensational divas??? wew! why would they level their self to that point when they are done with those things? ..lets focus with those new bloomers and support them to get a spot light? xD. -justtalking
Wow... I was just amazed by the fact that this person can sing into two personality, good job. I know Philippines are good at singing and no doubt about that.
