The X-Files | Scully says Eugene Tooms could return in 2023 

I'm watching this now. Was curious if someone else noticed that too. X-Files is a show of my childhood. So amazing to this day.

When I first saw this episode and she says 2023 i though man that's a million miles away

Scully is so shocked of even hearing the number "2023" Well, i guess i would be as shocked as well, if were thinking about my life in the year of 2053. Hi, future me.

I just told my dad, who happened to be an old school X Files fan back in the 90’s, about this and he was super surprised and thought I just randomly thought this

My wife and I are rewatching the whole series. I was terrified after this episode.

The ending clearly hinted at Eugene making an escape. Keep a hold onto your livers boys and girls!

Watched this yesterday with my two boys, who were already pretty spooked... this particular detail didn't help 🙂

They made a mistake killing off this character. Trilogy kompletion in 2023 would have been great
