The XJS fails spectacularly- CSCC Jaguar Championship / MG Trophy Oulton Park Race 1 

Thanks Geoff, the bonnet and door should have some improvements before Thruxton this weekend. I'm very aware of the wheel vibration, it's an absolute pain! My brake upgrade on the front of the XJS was a bargain buy which had been sat on a shelf at West Riding for a while, they're a serious bit of kit but were either made to order or else are no longer in production so I haven't managed to find a source of replacement rotors at reasonable cost. It's pretty common to warp discs when racing and my fronts are quite susceptible, they've been skimmed several times and at their last treatment I was warned that there may not be enough surface material left for another rodeo. So until I can either find or source replacement rotors, I have to make do with banana discs!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm currently making do with some pretty under-specced hardware and pokey editing software which makes producing videos of any quality quite laborious for an end product that I'm rarely happy with. I've got an upgrade in the works which should allow me to produce better quality videos going forwards, which I'll need to do as I'll soon be getting stuck into the XK8 race car project! So there will be in depth narrated videos coming. Fortunately this looked and sounded more dramatic than it was, it was an intermittent ignition coil short which is the reason for so much popping, banging and misfiring. Quickly solved and luckily everything survived to race again later the same day.
