I happen to know the ghoti dude, its a very nice guy and yeah, we actually struggle with his effects and cards at locals regardless they are in spanish.
The Uber/similar services is a thing here in the airports. They're not illegal, but the taxi mafia is the problem. They HATE all these services, is not a real option taking a taki instead of an app car cause they're waaaaay more expensive. In the airports specifically it's like a 1000% overprice if u take a taxi. So, they mad cuz they can't remotely compete with the prices so... they just keep being violent and aggressive until they finally displaced them out of the airport. As we say it here "es nuestro Meméxico Magico" (it's our Magic MeMexico) 🙃
I remember in London it was like this as well. There would be taxis circling around the airport pretending to be your Uber or bus and get mad when you refuse to go with them.
Actually it is not just Cancun but for a lot of airport, ride share is not allowed to be inside. The way to get around is, there will be some free shuttle to hotel near by, take the shuttle and call Uber when you arrived.
So he went to Cancun for a ygo event and the best part of the entire trip was the public restrooms? Also, back when I was in highschool my parents had a timeshare in Mexico (viarta, not cancun; and yes they still get phonecalls about it to this day), and the resorts that we stayed at had no issue flushing your tp. Not sure if resort plumbing has regressed in the last twenty years, or cancun resorts just have shitty toilets.
Jesse could pull 55 cards out of a random person's trade binder without looking and somehow top. Sam is also very good he just caters to a more casual audience which I respect. Props to both of them!
I'll be honest, judging from this story, I have been WILDLY misunderstanding competitive Yugioh players when they say "the goal of Yugioh is to play as little Yugioh as possible."
I was confused to know that in public bathrooms you throw the toilet paper in the toilet. I didn't know this till about 5 months ago. Ive always lived in the USA. Thank you mexican family I guess.
@@smonkk8556idk what they're trying to say. We flush toilet paper down the toilet. There aren't any garbage cans in the stalls so I don't know how the guy can not put it in the toilet unless they carry a bunch of used tp to the garbage by the sink.
Bring it back means add 3 stores that will go out of business in a year. 😂😂😂😂 the escalator near the main entrance by bath and body hasn't worked in like 2 years at least lmaooooo
Airports in Mexico make you register for a taxi so they know who is taking you on your trip. It has little to nothing to do with taxi 'mafia' or whatever, and everything to do with price scams, kindnapings, human trafficing, robberies, etc. Awesome diving. Highly recommend.
I'm not gonna lie, psiics and keef is so fucking simple to understand and beat, it's literally just SP little knight and 1-3 hand and GY banishes. MBT really do be the king of coping.
I’m not familiar with how YCS goes down but this is why I think digital is the future, you can’t take back an effect if you say you activate it like that guy you were playing when you wanted to activate on summon, feel like he took back what he said to avoid it. Can’t do that in digital.
I don’t get why ppl slander Sam the man is that good he actually makes yugioh look fun to play he’s an ambassador for the game he promotes decks that probably most ppl won’t play that doesn’t mean he not good i don’t get why ppl have a problem with him
So i haven't finished the video I'm only on the airport experience part. Im mexican so I'll give you an advice, next time you're in the airport there are some buses called ADO, you can take one of those that eithet go to the cancun downtown or the hotel zone and then take an uber from there. Is way cheaper than any airport taxis (cabs) Also does Danny speak spanish? If so its 100 times easier to do that
Me watching suddenly hearing Westridge Mall. That shit basically the backrooms now. If you're there longer than 30m you will noclip out of reality. Topeka such a disaster. Oh and the outside theater is somehow still in business.
I am In México and all my life I have thrown the toilet paper in the toilet, I figure it Is just some places that you can't but is not all México. Just no baby wipes as usual.
"Ghoti lines are easy actually"- people who let the glowing yellow button remind them what to do until they snopios pass I can navigate them in English but I wouldn't want to interact with them in my conversational Spanish lol
This is just the perks of being rich. You can’t go to a completely different country for yugioh, completely scrub out and essentially waste your money, and still be able to come home with your head up wanting to play more. My last yugioh regional was in my home state and only maybe 2 hours away and that was the final straw for me. I couldn’t continue in this game after how miserable I was at that event.
Brother. You showed up to an event that has hundreds of players who are all dedicated enough to think they have enough of a chance of topping to bother going, and scrubbing out happens to most of them. Sorry you didn't have your main character moment, but that's the reality of an actual competition.
Its so funny to me that they realized a month later snake eyes was ass. Like bro they lost all this shit we saw boards with rabbit and sp pass like comepare that to yubel and see which is stronger. Snake eyes lost starters the fiendsmith engine and people genuinely were convinced the banlist did nothing
@@mgm3649 Cozumel, Cancun, and Rivera Maya all had please don't flush TP signs. Not a big deal imo, but 'everywhere' as a standard just is factually untrue.
He never talked about why he would never do all inclusive ever again. I thought because Danny got sick, they would all get sick because something was wrong with the food, but that never happened I guess. I do wonder though
really weird to be like, such a fun and interesting guy who clearly likes interesting decks and then just is like “oh well guess I’ll play the meta deck”
@@TaikunZif he wanted to play the objective best deck he should have went yubel, he's said before that he's playing snakes because he legitimately likes the deck
The Uber thing has been quite a mess ever since they started operating here in Mexico. Essentially it is a conflict between taxi services and Uber as a company. Since each individual state charges a base fee to the taxi services once Uber arrived they were able to offer way lower prices thus making the whole population gravitate towards it and in the process monopolizing the market. Things got ugly really fast to the point were groups of taxi driver would literally assault Uber drivers as soon as they realized they weren't people just driving around. To combat that Uber drivers had to act as if they and the passengers were family or something. In the hopes of stopping the whole matter some "anti-Uber" areas were stablish and wouldn't you know airports are one of them.
Imagine huffing so much shit filled copium that you think it is being a 'pleb' having better infrastructure. It isn't a big deal either way, but there is no denying that it is more convenient and cleanly to just flush.
