Bro HOW do you only have 4.6K subscribers!? I watched this video under the impression it had would have tens of thousands of views, but whaaaat? Hope the YT gods look kindly onto you brother. Amazing content, keep it up ❤️
Ken is always gonna be the best shoto in SF6; probably in the entire games lifetime as well. He just abuses the drive system/the SF6 mechanics so insanely well. Also I hate the Ken downplayers he’s arguably top 1
As someone who's been interested in getting into SF6 but didn't know where to start, this is a nice bit of catch-up! I love your Smash videos and would be stoked to see more Street Fighter ones, too.
Thanks for using your time and skills to make a sick Street Fighter video! I enjoy your Smash content, so seeing a video from you covering one of the games that I do play is amazing! Thanks for all of your hard work!
Great video. However I will say Combo Breaker was more like a Midwest regional, I don't think it should have been given more weight than DreamHack Dallas, which was much more stacked.
It really feels like SF6 just isn't a game that Jamie's playstyle can capitalize from. Giving up oki and momentum for drinks ends up hurting Jamie in more ways than one because of the Drive Gauge war, and playing without drinking is just playing a neutered character.
Wonder when someone on the capcom team will notice that every dlc character released kinda shits on Dhalsim for free. Lots of all rounder characters with slow fireballs or skip neutral things in their kit. Probably will be the case for Elena and Mai also.
this will DEFINITELY be the case with thee DLC characters. Dhalsim really needs some buffs. People say that Capcom is "scared to buff Manon and Dhalsim because of their playstyle", yet season 1 was dominated by a zoner and season 2 Zangief is a beast, even though both of those characters have really annoying playstyles. Dhalsim's teleport has pretty long startup, so maybe they can tweak that and make his lvl 1 an actual reversal if you use the light button to activate it, since light lvl 1 has close to no usage. Master Dhalsims are currently carried by the fact that noone labs him or atleastt looks at the atrocious frame data on his moves (a lot of his moves are minus on hit and leave him in a punish counter state on block)
Personally I am SHOCKED to see Kimberly that high, everything else I moreorless knew but wow I did not expecr her to take up so many slots in top 8s top 16s top 32s. I guess there's enough people who really like the whole mixup ninja playstyle even if she's clearly not the best
I feel like a lot of people underestimate how good Kimberly is, especially with the recent patch. Sure, she's not Top 5. But Kim is easily mid-tier & is still having tech be discovered to this day.
Good thing it's pretty easy to summarize season 1 playstyle meta: drive rush into jabs/tick throw, and tap parry. Unsurprisingly both have been heavily nerfed for season 2. Additionally attitudes to burnout have changed from what I've seen. Players were much more willing to burn themselves out in early days but by the end of season 1 it was much more about conserving your drive gauge overall because people got much more optimized at punishing burnout causing wall stuns etc. You can see how this affected Juri, where a lot of the early meta Juris did this drive rush like a maniac and burn themselves out playstyle. When this playstyle got worse Juri results became much less prevalent. Eventually though we had Uma win capcom cup with Juri using a playstyle largely around the wincondition of conserving his drive gauge and enforcing burnout with level 2 setups.
😂 Lets not forget some people were playing the game 16 hours a day for 6 months before its official leak due to Capcoms genius idea to have a beta on PC. Im not saying any names, but its super obvious when you compare beta 1 footage to beta 2 footage. 😡🐦 😡🐦 😡🐦
great script but dear lord does every single visual effect need a sound effect and weird movie maker burn ins/transitions? I’d be more engaged hearing you lecture this information over subway surfers gameplay than all the overwhelming edits you’ve loaded into this file like a baked potato soup.
