You described quite well the process I'm in right now, identifying a bit ago that there's a need to change direction in life, and after walking across that desert of realization, I'm noticing there's this creeping inch-by-inch that's happening. The pace has gotten less rapid but it still feels just as intense. It's like the subconscious can feel this event-horizon is near, and it's cautious to let me get sucked into... myself.
