Here is a video containing the complete chanting of the Yoga-Sutras of Maharshi Patanjali, along with the Sanskrit Sutras and their English meaning on the screen. This video follows the version of the Yoga-Sutras which has 196 Sutras.
Presented by: Krishna Bharadwaj N.
Krishna Bharadwaj developed an interest in Yoga and Advaita while pursuing B.Com at Christ University, Bengaluru between 2014 and 2017. Subsequently, he joined the M.Sc - Yoga and Consciousness program at S-VYASA, Bengaluru, graduating in 2019. After a two-year break that was partly COVID-induced, he joined the University of Hyderabad's MA Philosophy program in 2021 and graduated in 2023. He has been pursuing a Ph.D in Philosophy at the same university since August 2023. His interest lies in Indian theories of epistemology, soteriology and ethics. He has cleared UGC's NET with JRFs in Yoga (June 2019) and Philosophy (June 2020 & December 2022). He is passionate about teaching and has experience taking classes on the Bhagavad-Gita and the Yoga-Sutras of Patanjali.

This is amazing and I am shocked there are so few views. I have begun listening to this many times each day so that I can chant along. The translations are excellent too. 🙏 In 2:21, the chanting is correct but is incorrect in script.

@@NirvegaVidya Thank you for your kind reply! I am now chanting along with 99% accuracy. I chant along at least two times a day and love it 🙂 Regarding the error, sorry for the confusion, I meant Chapter two, sutra 21 - it showed as a timestamp and linked to the wrong sutra. Correct timestamp is 10:40 Ch2.21 is supposed to be तदर्थ एव दश्यस्यात्मा or in the link you provided it is written तदर्थ एव दृश्यस्याऽऽत्मा In your video, the last few letters are missing but you do chant them. Thanks again for providing this to chant along with - there are many versions, but this resonates with me the most. May I ask, where did you learn to chant the sutras in this way? 🙏

@@TheYogaDen Ah, I understand now. There is indeed an error in the script of verse 2.21. Thank you for pointing it out. Wonderful to know of the progress you've made in chanting the Yoga Sutras! The tune in which I chant is one of the common tunes employed in chanting Sutras. I was introduced to it in the place where I learnt Yoga: S-VYASA University in Bengaluru, India.

Patanjali's system is unthinkable without Buddhism. As far as its terminology goes there is much in the Yoga Sutras that reminds us of Buddhist formulations from the Pali Canon and even more so from the Sarvastivada Abhidharma and from Sautrantika" (ed. Karel Werner, *The Yogi and the Mystic*, p. 27).
