Well, judicial immunity is a thing. This is why judges like Aileen Cannon and Justices like Alito & Thomas act the way they do.

@@kingace6186 Immunity from prosecution in the course of their duties, yes. They still have to abide the law and the constitution, which he did not. He ran his courtroom like a medieval king, holding people in contempt and throwing them in jail for literally doing their job. He was trying to make the defense attorney serve a weekend sentence WHILE working the case, which looks like a deliberate attempt to sabotage the defense. It's impossible for Xevi to sum up just how out of line he was, but it's all on camera (except the ex parte meeting) for anyone curious.

@@olorin3815 the level of accountability isn’t what it should be, I think you should be able to sue a corrupt judge and he’d be a good candidate. But obviously they’re held to some account, because he was forced to recuse.
