That 30 page essay bullshit, it shows the ridiculousness of his perceived power. A grown man telling another adult to write a 30 page essay and you're not a professor or teacher. Its ridiculous
“We take this very seriously. So for your punishment, you must write a 1000 page essay on the journey of the Mayflower. It will be due by Monday. And no AI! We use a plagiarism checker.”
You got a new subscriber right here, I can tell you really do care about the quality of your content and put serious thought into the videos you make. Well done.
Imagine if the evidence on the prosecution side isn’t sufficient and Young Thug gets released. It’ll be a big moment in hip hop history (like when Gucci Mane got released around 2016). Either outcome it’ll be interesting to see.
In Beanie Segels murder trial, his lawyer *successfully* got rap lyrics thrown out of the case. Prosecution couldnt use em. He literally argued that if Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino was on trial, you wouldnt show scenes from the Godfather. (Saying that rap is just like the movies in that its entertainment, and that movies are just as violent as rap. But everyone lovesss violent movies - Goodfellas, Rambo, John Wick etc, but rap lyrics are treated like murder confessions. Even tho theyre basically the same thing). Just a phenomenallll argument of transitive logic. Thug's lawyer really shouldve known this, and used it.
The Judge in this case is super biased. He is Pro-Prosecution and Anti-Defense. The prosecutor almost daily argues with him or the defense and he takes it.
@Zariyah_Nicole Maybe your right. But his argument was dumb & ineffective. Bro started RECITING Thug lyrics about throwing someone off a balcony looool bro who side are you on?! That ish was wiiiild
DeNiro and Pacino didn’t play the same character over and over. Beanie the rapper, is the same, over and over. And Beanie is just a stage name for Dwight Grant. Music and movies are both art forms, but they are extremely different as music is supposed to reflect the artists’ lives.
@misslimitless2182 wait wait waittttt.... did you just say DeNiro n Pacino didn't play the same character over and over?! Youre fuxking w me, right? DeNiro played a mafia member in over 20 different movies fam lol. Pacino too. Scarface lol. AND Segel's lawyer won the argument which Thug's lawyer lost, so obviously it was a pretty compelling analogy. The point is that it's all entertainment, and there's a MASSIVE double standard in public perception between violent entertainment staring white people (John Wick, Sons of Anarchy, Godfathers etc etc), and black people (rap). Thug's lawyer actually tried making the same general argument, it was just meandering nonsense. I really dont understand how he didnt know about Segels case. It's his Fn job.
What a great comment by you. Maybe Mr.Steele can come back with that particular argument. It definitely will help Young Thug. But what's really crazy about this RICO case, that it's not a RICO. These guys were committing crimes on their own. The DA created a case on plea deals to those that were longer around Young Thug. To go back to 2013 is crazy.
This is dumb. Theres NO way I could leave work for this long to be a juror. And the amount of taxpayer money being put into this, not to mention the backlog of people in jail awaiting trial, just so the prosecutor can get their Rico rocks off. I don't get it.
This bro Nard (around 12:30) is an absolute G! Put some respect on this man's name. Bro coulda walked out a free man THAT day, homie said no thanks judge. I aint snitching on the bros, and Im DEFINITELY not snitching on the bag. He's now on trial for 4 separate counts & faces the MANDATORY max sentence for each count. 50 years if guilty on all 4 counts. The very definition of a real one.
A G in 2 contexts: 1: Gangster, as in he upholds the morals of the life he chose. 2: Goofball, because if things goes south, he's cooked. And those people he's trying to defend will all forget he even existed because self preservation is a human character trait.
All I read in these comments all day everyday is "this the life you chose" and "you make decisions deal with the consequences" and "protect the bag" and someone FINALLY stands on that shyt, and now he's a goofball. Ain't no winning with yall. MFs will hate on Anything and Anyone.
That's wild to me. All I read in these comments all day everyday is "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" and "aint no loyalty in the streets" and "u gotta protect the bag" etc etc etc... and then someone FINALLY stands on that shyt, now he's a goofball. Ain't no winning with yall. MFs will find a reason to hate on ANYTHING.
The judge randomly gives out punishments.. why does that one guy have to do 10+ hours of community service but the others did worse and got off much easier ?
They got good lawyers who can negotiate, and probably previous convictions determine this as well. A previously convicted individual especially one who has a previous felony can get harsher punishments than a first timer no priors.
How many millions are being wasted on this? How many lives destroyed and put on hold for this? I can’t believe this is legal. When he’s acquitted, he should be able to sue the prosecutors, judges and detectives who brought this case which is clearly based on nothing.
ppl need to realize that gunna aint snitch. lol "agreeing to be truthful" is NOT "agreeing to snitch" all the stuff gunna admitted to only affected his personal case lol
If y’all really listen to what Tick is saying he’s really snitching on himself, he said ysl was created as a rap label to better themselves and no one in the court was apart of the R.O.C gang, then about the selling drugs part he indicated that it was only him that sold drugs no one else
Hell nah that is 3 weeks of making money, contracts, loved ones could die during that 20 day span. There’s enough AI tools you could do that paper in 4 hours or less. lol. 4 hours of work > 20 Days in county 😂
Been on this but I’m stay and show support for the homie. Another wild issue is the prosecution only want to play her snippets from certain songs and not the songs in their entirety and that’s outrageous if it is allowed well we will see this trial again as that’s an automatic appeal if justice actually constitutes their own rules… but we know how that shit goes
Mannn human beings in general can’t make papers that long. I barely survived a year without any liquor 😢 Thank god for that med card tho or I would’ve been cooked lmao that shits a trap
At the 21:05 minutes mark, what did that juror do? He said he was held in contempt, and the punishment that he got, but never said what the potential juror did.
“Mr steele I need to teach you about handling weapons” this judge is so full of himself lmfao. That’s why there is the big fucking orange lock going through the action bro so that they can show the evidence without any safety worries. Sheesh this judge really gets on my nerves the way he wants to just fuck with the defense for no reason. Leave them alone and let them fucking defend their client
This judge has showed gross biased, he let's the state argue with no repercussions, also going back on his judgements once the DA has argued during his rulings, also not taking control of his court, he lets the state get away with the same issue the defense cannot, i wonder if he wants to have a mistrial or be forced off the case for unfair and impartial judge ship in this case!!! Someone needs to audit his actions, PERIOD. But what do i know?
The fact that dude said he was high on the stand and the court didn't sequester him until he's no longer high is grounds for mistrial. The court accepted his testimony while being high on the stand. That is against the law
