Was expecting Ali Fazal and Harsh to be a little large spirited. If you don't want to be part of a show, that's ok. But don't show up and then make off colour comments. They behaved like pompous stars. Trying very hard to nettle the host. Disappointing.

i usually really enjoy hearing Ali and HK speak but they felt so uninterested in this. Kini did great as a host as usual and tried to engage and talk about the food he didn’t get any good engagement i felt bad food looked good tho

As a bengali I tried my best to vibe with this video but I am sorry I just could not. It wasn't because of you Nikhil. You are such a fun company to be with that I would've definitely vibed with you if I was there and I would have enjoyed the food. There is so much dimension to our food and culture that it would take an entire lifetime to figure out it's speciality. Well no worries.. we are excited for the next one...

Its weird yet being so popular Ray's stories are so underrated. Whenever you ask people about Satyajit Ray, the answer is always same "Ohh Pather Panchali/Apu. I mean Ik it's good but c'mon guys, there are 100s of stories written by him, there is horror, detective, thriller, humour, sci-fi ! just explore them.

I think the interviewer would've enjoyed the food more, if he had it alone, rather than have it with people who're least interested in it. Because irrespective of how he pronounced the names, he seemed to be genuinely interested in the food itself.

I was a bit disappointed with Ali. When he says I've seen Ray's work, didn't get it... and then some bla bla... and literally don't know what Satyajit Ray films are.... Harsh has seen his friends mesmerizing Ray's work in California and he himself is not so attached to his films. Kurosawa told if you haven't watch ray's films then you haven't watch sun and moon... so I think they should have personally see and feel the essence of ray's work first before acting in the series because that spark was not visible in their performance.

When you make (lame) jokes on the host of a show you have been invited to ,it is a proper "punch down" comedy you are leaning towards and that's not funny ,atleast to the viewer.Ali to some extent but HK (who btw is one of the worst actors active currently) largely seem to do the same throughout the show. Pretty sad...A host like Kini feeds off the guest's energies that makes his comic timing click which is the reason why this episode just didn't work!!

There are some fools though😐. They think that this was a biography of Satyajit Ray. I don't think anybody knew him before he got oscar. Even the Indian govt awarded him hurriedly (his condition was worsening day after day) after the oscar(he received Oscar on his bed). And he died within a couple of months after that.
