you should do an episode on tbow; yes everyone knows its OP but the price is sort of a balancing factor(?) which is why i think it'd be the perfect item for this series
Id like to see Boots of Brimstone and the Brimstone Ring looked at. I picked both up recently, and really like the investment in them as 'lazy' gear choices.
Brimstone ring is great all around! Less switches, good for “lazy raids” or multiple style bosses. Brimstone boots also good for early raids with less switches and mage/range bonuses
My GIM group wants to rush Zammy Hasta. Upgrading from a d scimmy to the hasta. And then using the hasta as the primary weapon until a whip . Does that make any sense? Idk if I am on board with that.
I think it's an aggressive plan, but a solid one. Kril is probably going to be a little annoying but it might still be faster than grinding out the Slayer Level for a Whip. I guess it depends on what everyone's combat stat and Slayer Level is looking like. Hasta as a primary weapon is pretty good and is even better than a Whip in a decent amount of situations. Overall, if I was in a GIM and someone came to me with this plan, I would probably be on board.
coming to you as a on release gim trio, we did exactly this. Three people on task with 70's combat with arclight wasn't horrible, higher recommended for sure. But we got the drop when i was only 75 slayer (slayer rusher of the group). was super useful for stab and crush task. But did find myself using d scimmy for most task with zero or low defence. mostly because I hate shared xp.
It’s crazy how fang just completely invalidated this item. Despite it dropping like 70% in price. However despite that this video still applies except instead of the 50-750mil bank now it applies 10-50mil bank
Can you do one for the ACB? I get it’s a marginal +8 accuracy boost over DCB, but it doesn’t seem worth the major cost increase over DCB. Maybe I’m wrong, though - would be interesting to know if it’s worth it
Definitely not worth it unless you have millions of gold to spend/waste. The ACB is a great upgrade over a RCB because of its access to dragon bolts, but it’s benefits are barely noticeable over a DCB.
