Honestly sucks that this is gonna be gone next week. I think it’s possible that Epic will keep OG as a separate mode, but I doubt they’ll actually do it. They could do what Apex does and rotate between the 4 map stages and loot pools of this season.
I think the problem with fortnite is that is that its too constricted by its lore. That's one thing thats great with games like pubg and apex, they are not confined to any specific lore and can do what they wanna freely.
@@Myathaarththe thing is that, as someone who followed the lore from the start to around season 2 chapter 3, the lore just kinda sucks At first it was mysterious but everything somehow seemed cohesive and interconnected, but as time went on, i guess in an attempt of shifting things a lot, the story beats became more arbitrary, villains came and went, and stuff just started feeling less meaningful I think it would have been better if each chapter was its own secluded story, maybe with reoccurring characters, but i guess its just really hard to make a solid story on a game that thrives with constant change
@@Myathaarth The problem with Fortnite is that people expect it to stay the same. Even PubG and Apex changed over time but apparently it's illegal for Fortnite to be anything but this.
Damn, Zanny and I have the same problem with this new menu. I absolutely hate the new menu and it was an unnecessary change and the shop is just too small. As he said, I liked “window shopping” in the shop.
I think they made the shop smaller to make it more og. I honestly kinda like it more. It makes the shop more special when every day there is something different. But the new menu sucks ass. It feels like Roblox now
@@carbonatedphantom8388 I think that LTMs should be way more present in Fortnite again. Part of why Fortnite was so popular back in the day was because new LTMs came out so every RU-vidr could make videos on them. But now we have millions of half baked creative maps that feel like I’m playing a game for infants

I don’t know why but I feel more ready to buy something in the store when there’s not so much stuff in it. I think then the Fomo is bigger because you have the feeling that the items are more special 🤷
The new map actually forced me to try build mode again. I realized that the lack of no-build balance may create a worse experience for those players, but creates a more fun-based loot pool. I’d recommend trying build, even if you suck at it. And the lack of mobility actually adds something because if I shoot someone once I can track them instead of this idiot getting up a mountain to snipe me, or retreating halfway across the map in 5 seconds. Very fun season, even if I only think there’s 1 good pass skin!
As someone who can't build for shit, I call them earthbenders cause they're creating fucking buildings from nothing. That being said, there's tricks and mind games you can play that still give you a shot even if you can't build a room 😭
The reason the shop is so smal is probobly because thats how it was in OG fortninte, same with the menu, it looks like the first menu back in chapter one
One of my buddies said how this season is perfectly. But in a short sentence. They are so close to perfection, but greed and money is keeping them back. There is a whole paragraph to be shared but this is the best i can do in a short comment
Ironically the Fortnite is like the only be game out that isn't driven by money and greed, mainly because the item shop is just an infinite money glitch for them. They just simply make bad decisions.

i miss them as well and people will hate me for saying this but as someone that hardly played fortnite when it first came out and only really got into it near the end of chapter 2 im kinda glad this season is gonna be over soon. i know people really want to see the OG map stay but there just isnt enough content and things to do compared to previous seasons
Zanny you buy every battle pass if you max it because they pay you more vbucks than it is worth. This one is only tier 70 though so I think it pays 100 vbucks less than its worth
You should honestly try build, while you may run into the occasional sweat its really fun and just feels better to play that way. Plus you do get used to building but it is easier on pc.
Im surprised Zanny never said anything funny on how Fortnite are PG18 grading their skins. We gonna see Kratos with a tank top. Doom slayer with gloves 😅
Yup, Game lost it's originality, Battle passes are boring and the shop and cosmetics have lost their charm. I have nothing to really work towards and if I ever do get around to playing its like 1 or 2 matches for fun. Pretty much the same way I felt about Apex since day 1
