Either a racing bike or an assisted bike (fake ebike. Well, its an ebike, but has a pitifully small battery, so its only good for assisting your pedaling.)
@@BadgerFiresFoam THIS IS BULLSHIT!I OWN A CAR THATS PRETTY MUCH THE NIKI(the 126,exact same car),AND UH- uhh... it takes 13-14 seconds to get to 60 KM/H.tested that out this morning...
Trash Gear hould be its own show. Like Top Gear, but more..."interesting". With Wade (and maybe James too) as its host(s). Wade and James, if either of you ever see this.. What do you think?
What I learned: The leaf runs on witchcraft. Even gravity doesn't want Tony to be alive. The free car does pretty well for something that escaped a Bad Piggies level.
Tony, the slowest way to experience driving a race car for the road. Loud, unsafe, high g, horrendous fuel economy (for its engine size) highly impractical, uncomfortable, draws attention, all without actually being fast. What a deal!
@@Suzumi-kun or go to Malta, that's like a nugget rebrand paradise with LHT cars from UK, Japan and Australia. They have at least 7 flavours of Toyota Yaris there.
@@airbornezombie7655 175 width tyres, 4 speed auto and, to a lesser extent, a basic naturally inspired engine. I hired one and drove it around regional Victoria and couldn’t believe how comfortable it was. It also used only 5 litres/100ks. I think if you take ego of the it, the Baleno is all the nugget that 80% of drivers need.
@davidbusch8912 you know, I'm a new driver and I've been heavily considering the 2024 baleno for a while as my first car because of how much you get for the money. I researched a lot about it. I've heard it has bad acoustics, the 4 speed auto is loud and the sound-proofing leaves a bit to be desired. Have you experienced these issues at all?
@@airbornezombie7655 no,I thought it was great. Like you said, it’s good value for money and because it uses older tech, I think maintenance costs would be ok. I drove it on pretty crappy roads and found it to be quiet enough.
I only found this channel last week, and it's genuinely been the best thing for making me feel better. I love the little nuggies, especially Tony. Reminds me of my first ever car, a clapped out, rusted, barely running MK1 Ford Fiesta, that had most of the dash missing, no roof liner, and the entire rear passenger area had been stripped back to bare metal. It sounded like someone shaking a can full of bolts inside a box full of identical bolt filled cans, and all of that inside a large metal box. With me in the drivers seat. Screaming.
The Leaf must have some kind of intentional low-speed power limits going on to get that low G-force in a sprint. The way electric motors tend to work means they can put out absurd quantities of low-end torque, since that's what happens when you chuck 80kW through a motor that's not turning all that fast.
@@mostlymagical3220 My parents have a Zoé, it has an Eco mode that limits the power, if you remove it and the road is just a tiny bit slippery you can do burnouts with it, it's so dumb I love it. Very useful to get on a roundabout with a lot of traffic too since it accelerates very quickly
@@Ozuhananas for a bit I thought it was the ability to do burnouts that was useful in roundabouts, like you were somehow silently creating a cloud of tire smoke to clear up traffic
@@tiagobelo4965 I can see why you thought that, my sentence is a bit clumsily worded lol. It's the power the motor puts into the wheels that is useful because it makes you accelerate very quickly, compared to my diesel Clio at least
Power limits are common on more recent front wheel drive EVs. I'm normally in a Leaf but rented a Polestar 2 for a week with 170kW not 80kW, it felt slower off the line than the Leaf. Motorway overtakes were great though.
Cutting from fairly "decent" nuggs to tony uncut trying to start had me just plain wheezing- was lauthing during the entire tony section. Great editing
I'd agree with you 0-60 kph is definitely a more realistic full power acceleration scenario. It's the minimum speed your nugget needs to be going in town from a junction so you don't get instantly flattened by one of the ten million speeding BroDozers that roam the streets, particularly in the US where I live.
There is an old polish videogame series called "Maluch Racer" if you want more Tony experience. Also recommend looking up videos where people mod them to do Rallying with. Been to one of those as a child, really fun.
I used to watch top gear as a kid and the magnetic leaderboard segments were always a highlight, this whole channel has a similar vibe of just having stupid fun with motors. It's something I missed and enjoy seeing again in a new form
Fun stuff! Of course Tony struggled even with the bar pretty close to the ground XD. As an aside, Regular Car Reviews (american car channel that likes to take the piss out of cars so to speak) is gonna be visiting Australia later this year around November iirc. Highly recommend getting in contact with them, Tony and Smelly Jeff will be a life changing experience for the ol boys on that channel.
I never realized the magnet leaderboard was an homage to Top Gear until now. I have no clue how, since I watched a good bit of Top Gear before getting into Wade's shenaniganery.
If I need a pick me up, I watch one of your videos. Two seconds in an "Ladies and nuggets" already has me grinning, so thank you for the smiles and laughs dude.
Dude. That Merc looks like it has blocked sunroof drains. When you put a car through a car-wash there is a-lot of water. Some of it gets past the edge of the sunroof glass and goes into a drain-pan around the sun-roof aperture, between the metal roof and headliner. There is a tube drain in each corner (2 front, 2 back). Get some 3 to 4 mm whipper snipper line. Open the sunroof and feed the line down each tube to clear out whatever crud is in there. Use a little water to help. Be VERY careful. You don't want to puncture the poly-pipe that runs down each A-pillar and C-pillar, because then you've got another problem altogether... Replacing those poly tubes is a pain. Also, on cars with dark paint, sun heat tends to cook the poly drain pipes, and they shrink. They can pull off the metal tubes at either end. Again, they need replacing. Not fun.
Oh man, being reminded of the CLS's misfortune just makes me think that it really deserves its own overhaul series once the free car is pretty much done, you can probably go to a windshield place (or if you're lucky get help from James) to re-seal it, then its just a matter of a clean and mild detail.
@@AfferbeckBeats Both would be 30kwh of energy. Most batteries will break or explode if you try to discharge them from full to empty in 6 minutes though.
I love you and your content. Such great videos and you have such a way of making normal-overlooked things so funny and entertaining. I’ve watched you for years and your nugget dip and nugget car videos helped me get over my breakup with my Aussie Ex Girlfriend from Melbourne Keep it up, Brother!
I hereby petition all speed records professional and otherwise to be done from 0-60 kph And also for 0-60 kph to hereby be dubbed as a vehicles "Dank-Speed"
Cromulent use of the word cromulent! Edit: and yeah 3 cylinders sound great! So underrated. Bwarrrp. And your laughter in Tony says it all about what makes slow cars so much fun 😁
The Tony Time Camera (legally distinct from Toni Time) shaking like a stock RU-vid intro at first, then having a period of quiet before giving up and going Michael Bay is fantastic. It really makes you *feel* like a nugget.
Fun fact about Fiat "Tony" 126p When my dad used to drive one like that when it was just 2-3 years old...going 80 km/h (50 miles per hour or so) it was getting a little wobbly The top speed he got in it was 110 km/h and by standards of the car was was considered a suicide attempt or a death wish because it was beyond unstable at that speed Having a crash in that Fiat at the speed of 40 km/h already is pretty awful because of no protection whatsoever
Take a moment to appreciate all these previous cars which have been tested and results hidden for ages - until now. I am 100% sure this is the longest Wade has paid attention to anything.
"we're almost catching the Barina" is my favourite line from any of your videos on any of your channels also I think tony actually did 0.57G, it says on the screen... which puts him second on the G'board
I'm looking at the frame where Tony passed the 100m mark. It's time of 9.6 seconds is slower than Usain Bolt's world record 9.58 second 100m dash. It's slower than a human lmao.
i love those test and how funny the donkey and tony are lol. what's funnier for me is that when i was a little one my father owned a fiat nugget and now i drive a fiat nugget XD out of all i really love that mercedes, she just looks so cool, i hope james can change that front glass.
