This is a mod that's made for the intent purposes for learning how to code/direct a video game. Hoping Nintendo won't take this down, I want to show off people our work for what we've been cooking.
IF NINTENDO TAKES THIS DOWN, THEY KNOW WE DID THEIR GAME BETTER (respectfully ofc, we want to improve and help their game. i wont stop modding and learning how to code and be a gamedev till theres a man at my front door, handing me a cease and desist letter or unless if our mod project is 100% complete)

Aerospray absolutely terrifies me, it’s like the squeezer of frontlines now and it might actually be good given its mobility. Thanks I hate it.

I hope that were some possible Reefslider changes. I love Reefslider despite it being flawed. End-lag is gone, you can super jump with it, and steer.

It's somewhat flexible. Iirc you ARE able to mod it so you can change your direction where you'd wanna go but startup would be much more shit and vulnerable

Gotta be honest, idk if I like the new Chump-Missile fusion. I feel like the dummies are more engaging from a design perspective as they serve as a distraction, and while the new ones that explode once they hit the ground are probably more effective as a displacement tool, I think they look a little bit less fun to fight against.

That's the thing, they're not meant to be a distraction. The whole point of them is to turn Tenta Missilies into a healthier special and turns out chumps was able to do that. It's supposed to be a very flexible special useage with limited range and still has that 10sec cooldown. Also, the special is pretty reactable when avoiding it. As long as you're paying attention you should be able to get out of time unless if you're not in a favorable position, kinda like tenta missles

@@ZipSweep That’s fair, I definitely understand your logic, but I just personally think the dummy angle is a bit more interesting than, you know, death. The lack of global range does already make it leagues better than Tenta Missiles, and it seems pretty balanced overall, so regardless of my own reservations, good work!

I think the Enperry’s should’ve been Fizzy + Inkjet so if you make a new vid like this I’d love to see that! Also Splatana Stamp with Fizzy Crab or Fizzy Zooka would be cool

i think the box sub wouldn’t be healthy, it would allow players to get to certain parts of the enemy’s base, which would be unbalanced for spawn camping and if only one team had a weapon with the box sub

Dude it'd be one of the best things ever, finally a weapon capable of actually flanking. One of my biggest issues is how streamlined the maps are I get they want engagement but gee, sure would be nice to not be visible by their entire team all the time.

I wish these kits were real so badly, nintendo did pretty well with most areas in splatoon 3 except for the weapon kits, maps, and amount of grinding. Might have to go on an 8 hour journey to figure out how to mod my switch because this honestly looks 20 times more fun to play than the average splat 3 match.

Funnily enough i think nintendo excelled the most when it comes to the singleplayer of this game. Everything multiplayer wise excluding salmon run was fumbled in some way. The kits and maps are obvious. But the general update cycle felt worse this game atleast imo. The unnecessary amount of grinding needed for things. The lack of new permanent modes and the introduction of like 3 seperate temporary modes. Tableturf not having multiplayer for months after release and even still not allowing you to queue against random people. The changes to X rank. The patches not changing much at all alot of the time. Its honestly a shame because alot of the new stuff they added for this game is cool it just needed to be handled differently

Also I think octobrush with auto stamp would prolly be the best second kit for it now that stamps fixed (please add this i beg of you) I would also like to say (idk how this would be coded, it would prolly be too hard but if possible) i think it would be cool if you got a small speed boost for like a second after hitting a dart, kinda like parrying a shot on neon white (you prolly dont know what that game is tho)

would it be possible to mod in a shooter weapon based on a bubble machine? also it would be cool it the bubbles you shoot can scatter and linger in the air for a bit (Like a real bubble machine) but just as a visual thing with no hitbox

ngl maybe the no air charge penalty buff should be applied to EVERY stringer, at least since like a whole mode of shot is locked behind jumping anyway

Honestly, nah. I think the air charge should be a unique thing. For example the Charger, Splattling and Stringer classes have a front/mid liner weapon in each class. Whatever those are i feel like those weapons should get that perk to distinct themselves to their other respectful class. Otherwise why choose reeflux when Stringer could also air charge, even if Stringer is the more "quick and mobile" Stringer? Especially when Tri-Stringer has 3 explosive shots and ESPECIALLY well string having 5. Hope this makes sense Also so sorry for the wall of text LOL

@@ZipSweep i mean. the reason i thought for tristringer was because its charge speed is about the same length as e-liter's and im gonna be honest it isnt the strongest already. i do see the issue with wellstring tbf, but the main annoyance with that weapon is spamming the horizontal shots anyway. but. actually yeah spamming vertical AOE sounds like it could also be a bit annoying now i think about it

@squeenixu charge time isn't that bad but yes I do agree it's mainly a weak weapon. Thankfully, nintendo did most of the buffs we were planning to do already. Outside of storing charge, we gave Stringer both pretty good kits that it would want

hydra is suppose to be a weapon that can win a 1v3 if it has a charge. maybe if it only had 2 charges and was faster then it could just go on the side of the map if the maps were battlefield sized but that's never gonna happen :c

I have a few dream kits that I'd like to see on the game. Also The octobrush kit in this is perfect. Wiper deco: squid beaken and splashdown Blue dapples: torpedo and inkstrike. Painbrush: curling bomb and inkjet.

Idk if youre still doin kit stuff but if you are ive always wished wiper had something like burst or torp (or even marker) and then kraken instead of stamp L3 should get its kraken back instead of having stamp Sploosh also should get splashdown back instead of stamp (the splat 2 sploosh main in me wants this back so bad) Inkbrush nouveau shouldve gotten ink mine kraken to actually work like baller did in s2 instead of stamp. So many mains i used to play and really enjoy in 2 got gutted with stamp

@DESMal it's not a well designed weapon, if it were to be good/buffed in the right way it would dominate the entire game, no questions asked. There was no easy way to buff/rework the weapon outside making it lose it's identity. Plus Ballpoint does what Hydra wants better

@jingojango3128 also forgot to mention but Dual Squelchers was replaced cuz Nova was such a dogshit weapon and had so much wasted potential. From the kits, the stats, everything that Dual Squelcher from S1 is "back" but dumb-downed to a much shittier bootleg version of it (which is now Nova)

@@ZipSweep If I can request one thing for the ball point that annoys me to great end. could you make it so the second ring is accurate to the short range mode timer? Always found it strange how it's timing you have to memorize a third of it's charge wheel... And ya Hydra really is an out dated weapon... Still love it but ya... Nova was never needed.. Dual squelchers are just better
