@@markusantonio4866 Hold Your Head Up came out when I was about 9 years old. At that time my mother used to take us kids grocery shopping with her every month. She did her shopping at Gemco which was the 1970s version of a Walmart super-center. If us kids behaved ourselves, mom would stop at the music section and let each of us but a 45rpm record (simply called a 45). One of those trips I bought the song Hold Your Head Up, which I must have listened to a thousand times. I had a teacher that let her students bring a record to school every Friday if we behaved during the week. She would play the records during class which was kind of cool. That was back when bringing a 45 to school didn’t end with kids being killed. Damn, I just realized I am at that old age where I am telling stories about the good ol’ days

The Zombies performed in my Catholic school auditorium in 1969. The Geator with the Heater DJ brought them there . I was in 5th grade. Blown away. They played 3 songs.

Had never heard this song until a holiday to Las Vegas which found us in Fremont Street under the musical roof and this was the first track played in the 60s montage. Superb. Downloaded straight away and listen often. Such a unique song and it’s great when these 1960s groups show they’ve still got it, compared with 99% of modern dross that’s out there with swearing, obscenity and near naked/ disgusting videos. Never seen them included on the Gold 60s shows that tour the UK which is a big oversight.

The album this is from, Odessy and Oracle, is really strong. I put it in the same rank as the Beatles Sargent Pepper or Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys

I'm a huge fan of this band and this song is a big favorite...this is the 1st time I've seen them perform this at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame .... they killed it ❤❤❤.... they sound AMAZING and I want to be at a party with my man and a J, dancing with my arms flowing all around to this incredible song that will "take you away"..... plus, my goodness, they sounds just as good decades later. Bravo to them 🎶⭐😎✌

To be honest i thought they have passed away , then i saw this , and i was blown away . What a voice , but then again , they are British , and if someone can ( all sorts of things ) , it is the Brits . ( And no i am not British , i am from Denmark , but i am an anglophile :-) )

Only Paul Atkinson and Jim Rodford are dead. I think Rod Argent's mom is still alive too, at about 103 if that's true. And he's been with his wife Cathy for over 54 years now
