I'm lucky to have seen the film at the local art house cinema. I see so many movies & every time I leave a horror movie I feel let down, simply because I don't find them to be scary. I left the cinema after this film completely horrified because it not only runs deep in the psyche, but it actually happened. the subject matter is quite disturbing, but the total sum of the film is masterful.
I saw this film(A)a few days ago,and the effects are still lingering,.. the friend who recommended that l see it also said “it’s going to mess with your mind” was right… the truly scary part was after awhile the background screams, gun shots and barking dogs became just white noise(afterwards,l thought under the same circumstances anyone can become a monster, even myself)!!! a truly disturbing experience 😓
This movie was more shocking than a holocaust documentary. it is totally shocking and scary. it makes you question yourself and that we aren't so different, going about our everyday lives, fussing about food, clothes while all that is happening in Gaza / Ukraine, or even mass killing of animals that are served on our table. it makes me think, would we do the same as Rudolf Hoss if our boss and society accepted all of this as normal

Your audio is all panned over to the hard left. Figure it out, man. Shouldn't be too difficult It will help your channel.
It is interesting that this German film is based on a Martin Amis novel written in English. Under the Skin takes place in Scotland, and you need subtitles for all the thick accents.
I didn't like Under the Skin either, but I reallly want to see Zone of Interest. Thanks for this. I know people who casually show a chilling lack of empathy all the time. I'm going to think "Zone of Interest" to myself when they show it, from now on.
The curious thing is how a man who was able to film this made a statement at the Oscars against his own people (the Israelis). It is well known that Israelis seem to be disunited, but Glazer's speech was somewhat strange.
Hi Frank, thanks for the feedback! Just wanted to point out that I only spent 1 minute talking about myself as part of the intro and the rest was about the movie. Hope that helps :)
