@Marci Dorman For context: Minghao's stage name is The8, and 8 is 八 (ba) in Chinese. Then in Chinese showbiz/ diminutive chinese names in general, its common to call someone younger than you (in an affectionate way and usually with permission), with the prefix of '小' (xiao) which means little or younger. It may also be an overlap from Seventeen where The8 is one of the younger members in the group, or at the very least, he's younger than Wen Junhui, hence Jun can call him '小八' but The8 will only address Jun as '俊辉' (Junhui) but never tag on '小' in front, out of respect and seniority. This is apparent in one of the chinese variety shows that Jun and The8 attended together. Hope this explains it :)

Tbh, I think cameraman no.10 was wronged, the others tried to be as close to the lens as possible while The8 stayed just far enough that with cameraman no.10's movements he would still be able to stay in view. P.S.: They camera movement at 1:25 was so awesome❤❤
this is out of context but can someone tell me why minghao always joined variety shows in china but jun doesn't?? I really wanna see jun interact with other artists there
Jun already has his own variety show and drama coming out in china, and minghao was invited by the show's producer after seeing his videos online. He really shows his good sense in variety show and deserves it
