Theatrical Design & Tech Episode 1: Working in Scale 

The topic of this lesson is scale. In this lesson we discuss the importance of the human form in a stage picture, and become familiar with an architectural scale ruler. We will create a 1/2" scale model version of ourselves. Here you'll find a simple at-home activity that includes geometry, measuring, model-making, drawing, and basic drafting skills.
Required materials:
-Scissor
-Ruler
-Pencil
-Colored Pencils
-Glue stick or White glue (Elmers, tacky, etc.)
-Cardboard
-Loose leaf/Drawing Paper
Optional:
-Protractor
-Masking tape
-Architectural Scale Ruler
