The street scene was filmed in Yaowarat (Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand). She definitely represents her home country. This is Lisa's first song from her own label (LLOUD), so she has a lot more creative control over the song and video. She is the lead songwriter and lyricist for the song. Copyright-wise, LLOUD is using RCA for its distributor, and RCA has been aggressive, so it may take a few tries to post. My love for this song is that we got “singing Lisa” - I think she just owns who she is, is humble bc she knows her status but comes off as genuine in whatever she says and does. I love the nod to early 2000s M/V (Missy, TLC Waterfalls vibes). I guess we waited for years for a new song but it works for her.
