OMG! I love Fry's! I visit my parents frequently in Phoenix and I go whenever I can. They all have very interesting interiors with cafe's and even theaters. Like an adults candy store! The family has grocery stores too.
Adam I randomly found this video when searching for footage of a random space-themed Fry's I wandered into late night in Anaheim! Praise RU-vid. I don't know if this was the same Fry's (doesn't look like it) or if a few of them have some kind of 'theming' which is weird but cool. This one I stumbled into in Anaheim used to be a factory that built the space shuttle control panel (or something) and so when Fry's took over the building they filled it with all sorts of NASA stuff! Do you know the one I'm talking about? Anyway, so great to randomly stumble onto one of your old videos!!
Holy Smoke! Thanks for filming at the Burbank location. I go to the Fry's in Fremont, Northern CA from time to time and it's not nearly as much fun as the Burbank Store. The Campbell Store with King Tut is pretty fun. I LOVE Fry's and they sometimes do have the cheapest electronics ever. What's weird is I don't find myself eyeballing their newspaper ads and looking for deals since the internets have gotten more popular. VERY talented and cool though Zoso! How fun is it to see something you made still bringing lots of coolness to the world 19 years later. LOVE your JAWS shirt too. :)
I've worked at the Fry's in Irving, TX for almost 5 years now. I've merchandised at most of the stores in TX, and been in all but 2 of them. There's one thing about this video that frightens me the most... a year and a half later, and we still have the exact same music playing on the system overhead. They haven't changed one track. O_O And I didn't think it had been that long either.
Each Fry's Electronics have a theme! Anaheim=Nasa Space Fountain Valley= Ancient Greece Burbank=Sci-Fi City of industry=Industrial Revolution San Diego=Military/Top Gun Las Vegas= Casino And many more those are the So-Cal Locations!
Adam go check out the Fry's in Orange/Anaheim and do a daily vlog from the big huge Space Shuttle! I know you live near there now, just a good thought for your next daily vlog!
Good Daily Woo too you Adam. Enjoyed this one alot. The robot inside has a Gort Head but different body and is standing in the famous Robby the Robot poster position of holding the girl in his arms . So its a blend of 3 different robots. Cool Store!
We have several Frys here in the SF Bay Area. They are all themed. Fremont, Palo Alto, San Jose. I believe Frys was started here in Silicon Valley. We also have Best Buys but not as elaborate as Frys and not as big.
There's a Frys here in San Diego. I used to be in the office down the road from it. It's no where nearly impressive as this one. I don't think there's even a theme. The cafe in this Frys reminds me of the sci-fi cafe at WDW. I always liked eating there.
For Fry's Electronics, looks like a cool, legit place, looks pretty awesome, too bad there isn't one in Motown (Modesto) i can visit or i'd see it by now. Lol
Hank you are so cool. :D I like properties myself but on a waaaay smaller scale(used to be a theatrical properties master for my local performing arts center). Keep doing what you are doing. :) *feeling inspired*
I've been to that Fry's those Aliens are from the movie MARS Attacks!, also I think that one robot holding the girl is the Giant robot from The Day the Earth stood still or something like that.
I actually was planning to go to that store to return something. ...lol but something came up, missed that chance to meet you in person :(. Great vid thou nevertheless.
+The Noid You forgot Woodland Hills, CA. So its 6 ;) The theme at Woodland Hills, CA is Alice in Wonderland. I always shop at Fry's at Burbank and Woodland Hills, CA. Fry's is your Ultimate Geek mega computer store, much more so than Best Buys. I can build a computer from the ground up buying parts at Fry's and they always have the best prices, specially using their promo codes.
COOL STORE, dig it, my amigo's in the west, Aliens do prefer pepsi, but some prefer plasma... could I get one of those care seat thingy's shiped to my planet?
Hey I have started collecting hot wheels about 4 to 5 months ago and I have about 300 or more but what is the best way to figure out how much one is worth? Please get back at me you can just email me at tpfrank425to303@gmail.com that would be the easiest way for me thanks
Adam, You were asking what movie the Alien robot holding the girl was from. It is..."The day the Earth stood still.." Released in 1951, and the girl is the character, played by actress Patricia Neal. Here is more information about that movie, even a trailer of that robot carrying that girl. www.imdb.com/title/tt0043456/?ref_=nv_sr_2Love your videos, keep up the good work.
Aliens shop at the Fry Guys! Illegal Aliens shop at Obamanomic's! Of course except for the American Indians we are all newcomers...or Aliens gr8 video Mr Woo, yes, yes
I have a love and hate relation with Frys. I love their selection and low prices, but I hate their customer service and when trying to return an item. I usually shop at the San Jose and Campbell stores. Next time I'm down south I'm going to try to visit the Burbank store just to see the movie props.
I bought an Asus computer with a mail in rebate filled the rebate form out and sent it in and they refused to give me the rebate Don't buy anything that has a mail in rebate from Fry's
