Anybody out there that wants to know what motocross racing is all about watch this, the final lap of moto 2 has the hairs standing up on the back of my neck.....Totally awesome!
@@Mookfish2012 yes Pourcel rode a extraordinarily great moto. However, if Pourcel would have won this moto, he would have won the 2009 championship. Dungey won by 11 points. If Pourcel would have won this moto, Dungey would have finished 5th. 11 point difference in the points championship. They would have tied in points, but Pourcel had more moto wins. Which would have given him the points championship. Every position counts. That gate malfunction caused Pourcel to lose the championship.
should of been red flag restart..that gate prob was not fair..i think now days , they would of had a restart..they have been good about doing that here lately
This was a great race, the problem was the gate, but the mechanic prepares the gate the problem was he didn't put any dirt behind the concrete the next gate was almost as bad, it's the mechanics fault for it's his job to prep the gate.The gate hit the concrete half way back created the bounce if he'd put dirt down right no bounce, besides live and learn, problem is betcha they didn't learn. With a stacked field it cost him. I see what your saying, but the mechanic shoulda checked for the bounce.
